^  Innocent until proven otherwise.  I guess somebody is hot on City's trail cos it prolly used more legal loop holes than any club recently.  Lolol.
There were some reports of Manchester City signing deals with companies associated their owner Sheikh Mansour in abid that they will be able to pass the financial fair play policy. Meaning they have been cheating all this while and to me the investigations has taken way too long and it's time that they ban them the same way they did to Chelsea.

Man City are a great team but commercially still a small club. They don’t sell out their pre season tours abroad. They don’t sell anywhere near as much merchandise as the likes of Barca, Real, Liverpool, Bayern, Man Utd etc.
City are definitely on the fiddle (their annual earnings). They have a states money behind them but that doesn’t count, you can only spend what you make as a club, not your owners blood oil money.

It will be good for football when them & PSG hopefully get punished.

I think that Manchester City is big enough to fight in the same level as Barca,Real and other big teams in the competition. They just need to have more games against these teams in order to show their true value and potential.Liverpool did last year, now it is the turn of Manchester City to show they can do it too.

One way or another, everything's going well for City. Many teams are struggling, including Real Madrid. Therefore I think the City looks great. I think City fans should enjoy today, contrary to what you say. The next stage will be challenging opponents and tighter challenges.
Facing easy teams in the first stage is not something good generally.. In the next round, many games are already fixed and coaches can test their substitutes...

This can be said of luck for Manchester city, because they are in a group that incidentally isn't too great. But after qualifying for phase 16, it will be a challenge for Manchester City because the one who passes to the next phase is definitely a really tough team.

In group C no one defeated Manchester City because it was stronger, it was worth it Man. City will qualify for the last 16, Dinamo Zegreb, Atalanta and Shartark unable to defeat Man. City
Man Man. City always Use the right tactics when fighting other clubs.
c'mon look at the team in group C man. this is an easy group in my opinion. Manchester City has always been fortunate in the group qualifying rounds, they are in a group with teams that are easily defeated. I was hoping that Atalanta will be able to surprise them because they performed well in Serie A, but in fact, they haven't even won at all in Group C at this moment

Atalanta does not have the mentality to play in the Champions League so that his opponents will be easily defeated, starting last week Atalanta won in the Italian league with a lot of scores but not in the Champions League like that, had to be corrected a lot after going to play in the Champions League.

Would you prefer being in easy Champions League group or having difficult opponents? I don't understand how facing easy teams is NOT good. You can rest your key players and secure promotion to knockout phase soon. Manchester City had luck with a draw this year.
In contrast, Barca has difficult group and both Borussia Dortmund and Inter are serious contenders for 1st place in the group. So Barca will need to play with their best team, risking injuries and so on.
The only reason why being in difficult group could be beneficial is money from ticket sales. Man City didn't sell out their matches against average teams like Dinamo Zagreb or Atalanta, while Barcelona sold 86000+ tickets against Inter and it will be similar against Dortmund.

Do you refer to the financial fairplay?
I am not aware of any illegal activities done from the City that should be under investigation. The only one is the financial fairplay which I think that City doesn't follow the rules.

IF big IF I can recall correctly.

Manchester City is not only under investigation for the financial Fairplay.
I said only because the other accusations IF I can remember correctly is for fraud, they paid their coach with money outside the society.

More info here, https://edition.cnn.com/2019/03/08/football/manchester-city-uefa-investigation-spt-intl/index.html

The case of the city is huge is about violations for 5 years.

I wonder why they are still under investigation. Chelsea was banned instantly for violating the financial Fairplay. Manchester City which has more violations it is still under investigation and it is very odd.

I believe if city can manage to scale through to the final of this year Champions League they might win it,  I think there is something missing among Psg and Man city,  they've got the players to win Ucl but always fail to reach the final,  just take a good look at Tottenham squad as compared to both teams mentioned above
What Pep said might be true, ManCity still has a lot to learn to reach the UCL final and become a champion. Since Peps arrival in City, they have shown a big change. Change the pattern of the game by dominating possession. I think this season Mancity can surprise UCL, but well see how they travel.

PSG are also under investigation by UEFA for violating the Financial Fair Play policy and if there is no retribution for that then it gives almost every club the permission to do the same. UEFA must be firm and act upon it even it means they are disqualified from further  competition.

Financial Fair Play is a myth, Man City & PSG continue to get away with spending far more than they generate which is the whole point. They lie about their books/records & all they get is a slap on the wrist from UEFA or a minuscule fine. These teams won’t take it seriously unless they get banned from the CL for a season or two.

Yep, just Google how they paid for Neymar. That is a disgrace to football and should have been harshly punished.
But yea, that's modern football. World cups in football giants such as Qatar, more and more teams participating in the tournament and countries left in financial ruin once the circus goes away.

City have been steadily growing in the UCL

Yes, you know if they are under investigation and Eufa is doing nothing to punish their illegal activities.. They can grow.

Is nobody going to talk about City easy group? 3 wins out of 3 matches, against a team like Dinamo Zagreb, etc.

This group stage is literally a walk in the park for them. They should at least have a competitor like Atletico Madrid or something.

City is so lucky to be in Group C with 3 other non favorite teams. I dont mean to underestimate the other 3 teams but surely they are not even a close competitor for City. The real challenge for City will be on the knockout stage as they may face a bigger team on the knockout stage.
If you are City fans then dont be too happy now because City is in an easy group stage. Be ready for the real challenge on the knockout stage.
