Real once again showed how huge they mentally are. City was better in 90% of the tie but if you don't kill the game off, they will make you pay for it.

City had everything under control with 5 minutes to go - but against Real you cannot give an inch of space. I cannot say that it is an undeserved win for Real - in both games they showed incredible effectiveness in their game.

It will be tough in the final but as a Liverpool fan, I'm glad it is Real and not City.
In terms of mentality, Real Madrid is without a doubt in a competition as big as the UEFA Champions League. When Mahrez scored against Real Madrid, the hopes of the Real Madrid fans in the stadium and those watching on television had lost hope of making it to the final, but Carlo Ancelotti didn't look the least bit panicked. He didn't scream like many other coaches do. Bravely, Carlo Ancelotti brought on Rodrygo for T. Kross, but the result in the 90th and 90th + 1st minute the player (Rodrygo) re-opened the hopes of supporters that their favorite team deserved to play in the final.

Manchester City do not have a player whose role is like Cassemiro in blocking the flow of the opponent's attack. A role like him belongs only to Fernandinho. But Pep Guardiola prefers to leave him on the bench. The purpose of recruiting Pep Guardiola is of course with the aim that Manchester City can help win the UEFA Champions League title. Regarding the shortcomings, it seems Pep Guardiola is almost perfect as a coach in strategizing. Likewise with Carlo Ancelotti in the world of football coaching.

In my opinion, if you look at the efforts of Manchester City from year to year, they only seem to have a mentality in the domestic league, not in European competition.
Now let's compare when Carlo Ancelotti coached Everton and coached Real Madrid where is the difference. The composition of the Real Madrid players is that the current players are players who were coached by the previous coach who were used by Don Carletto, but were able to achieve the club's targets. Then how when he coached Everton? and why did Everton slump? The answer is ...

Please correct if I still lack a lot in viewing and analyzing.

The final between Liverpool vs Real Madrid is an ideal final match. Both matches will prove who has the greater mentality when both clubs don't spend a lot of money to form a team.

There is no doubt about this team from a mental point of view. They have shown that for a long time, and they are able to turn things around not once or twice but often. I highlighted the role of their senior players sitting on the bench as the game ended. Yes, they are like teaching their juniors to keep fighting until the last second and not giving Manchester City a chance to score goals. Yes they have to pass that mentality to young players.
Because they were mentally strong, they found a way to qualify. The young Real Madrid talent came back against Manchester City in the 89th minute despite having just 1% chance of winning. This is a lesson for all those who watched this match. Their juniors keep the fighting spirit until the last second in this game, so we should not give up easily in what we work for.

I saw Manchester City being a little off guard and after the goal conceded the ball. manchester city even became depressed. seen from his game which always can not perfect the attack.

I'm also happy that Madrid is waiting for the final and not Manchester City.

Right, when Madrid managed to equalize the score then Madrid controls the match, Manchester City seemed surprised so he lost everything
We can see that Manchester City is less experienced in this competition

I wonder what happened to City in the end of the game, they had everything under control and even scored first, they just had to manage the game and be calm. Most probably it was lack of experience and being hit psychologically by the goal conceded in the 90 minute that made them lose it all soon after that.

I am sorry for City but Real is a sure thing that is not going to win the Champions League,in fact let me go and bet straight away for Liverpool to be the Champions of the Champions League this year, they surely deserve it much more than Real does.

Real Madrid's victory last night over Manchester Citi, a very valuable lesson for liferpol, in the last 5 minutes scoring 2 goals was impossible, but real madrid was able to do all that, in the final party liferpol must play carefully, never give a little even for real madrid, jorgen Klopp must be careful to rotate the game, in the 2018 final real Madrid managed to beat liferpol with a score of 3-1, is it possible that in this year's final real Madrid was able to beat liferpol for the second time, or vice versa liferpol able to take revenge against real madrid.
Something unexplainable about Real Madrid in Champions League this season. One upstream match is explainable but they have more than three since the 1/16 matches with PSG. They repeat it with Chelsea and Manchester City. They have good ability to destroy opponents within a several minutes to less than 30 minutes. That is amazing because their opponents from PSG to Chelsea and Manchester City are ver strong.

Liverpool, Klopp and Salah will try to have a happy revenge for 2018 final when Salah got injured after a tricky tackle from Ramos. That injury almost sent Salah out of the World Cup 2018 and even he returned in last days, he did not play well in that tournament.

With all fanstatic matches from Real Madrid, they will begin the final with very high confidence of the all time King in Champions League. More challenge for Liverpool and Klopp in the final that is hosted in Paris.
In preparation for the Final, Real Madrid has a slight advantage where they can give a lot of rest time to their players because Real Madrid has already won La Liga, so they don't have to insist on the remaining matches and they can play the reserve players. While Liverpool still has to compete with Man City in the title race and there is a possibility that the race will continue until the end of the season, which means 1 week before the Champions League Final takes place.

The hunt for the Premier League title will certainly drain the energy and concentration of Liverpool players, so I think Real Madrid is more prepared for the final than Liverpool.

I believe Real Madrid deserved the win last night because looking at the consistency at which they troubled the defense of Man City, you will know they meant business.
When the goal came in the 73rd minutes by Riyad, most of the Real fans dropped and you could imagine what was going through their minds, but then, Rodrygo came to rue pep's joy. Truly a deserved win for Real if you ask me.

I already turned of my TV in the 86th minute or so because i was sure that nothing would happen anymore in this game. After all Real Madrid needed two more goals in only a few minutes in order to make it into the overtime and i just thought that this was impossible. Then before i went to bed i checked my phone again and i saw that the match was in the overtime. I instantly turned the TV back on and watched to the end. Absolutely crazy what happened again yesterday. The first half was pretty boring in comparison to the first leg but the second half was a total thriller again. I kinda feel sad for Pep Guardiola. Since his time at Barcelona he is extremely unlucky in the Champions League. At Bayern he was eliminated by Atletico Madrid two times even though Bayern was the better team and with ManCity this was also the case a few times now.

Unexpectedly, Villarreal actually played very well in the first half. Villarreal were able to score two goals in the first half and had forced the aggregate to be 2-2. Unfortunately, in the second half they reduced the intensity of the game and allowed Liverpool to score three goals back to seal the victory that saw Liverpool qualify for the Champions League final.
Rulli (the Villarreal goalie) also had a part to play in Villarreal's exit from the Champions league last night, he was extremely poor across the two legs, he made numerous errors when the both sides met at Anfield, and i am pretty sure if Unai Emery had a better makeshift goalkeeper, then Rulli would not have started that game yesterday. I am not saying their exit was entirely his fault, but when your team is playing the way Villarreal was playing last night, you have to bail them out when it comes down to you, but everytime Villarreal needed him to help the team, he just let in cheap goals; shambolic.

Tonight we await the team set to join Liverpool in the final in paris in a few weeks time, i am going with City, for obvious reasons actually, but with Madrid you never can tell, at least until the 90 minutes are all up.

^ The goalkeeper was really bad at doing his job. Otherwise, I think will Villareal had a good chance because they scored twice in the best and their level in terms of aggregate goals. But then the goalkeeper had made some horrible mistakes in that match. He really should have kept out those shots, but he couldn't. And that cost Villareal very much.
Now the match between Real Madrid and Manchester City has also ended and Real Madrid were the winner.
So it's going to be a good final.

Wow. That was really a breathtaking comeback by Real Madrid. That was also the third game in which they were behind and still won in the end. Before that it was in the round of 16 and the quarterfinal. That are emotions and that is what sport is all about. It was a great moment for the team and for the fans. I am looking forward to the final.

That was an epic comeback in just few minutes to equalize the overall score. Rodrygo was a super sub and he deserved to be the man of the match imho. Manchester City seems to be overconfindence after they scored 1 goal and they did not expect that Madrid will be able to score 2 goals in few minutes. Real Madrid vs Liverpool is an ideal final match, 2 big teams from 2 different big Leagues.

Manchester City looked confident of having upper hand into the match and they felt it was all done and dusted for them but Madrid fought it out with them and scoring two goals immediately. This demoralized the City team and have to give Madrid the spirit of winning as they already stayed up with home advantage. I also like the teams playing the final from different countries. Spain and England with Real Madrid and Liverpool representing both countries, this is going to be a good match to watch.

That's the quality of players who have a winning mentality, everyone lost hope when Real Madrid conceded until the end of the second half, but the magic seemed to be on their side, in two minutes Real Madrid were able to score two goals, this really made Manchester City helpless, Real Madrid deserved to win, because indeed they played very well in the rest of the second half, while Manchester City was a club that did not have a winning mentality at all.

Real Madrid boy Rodrygo who brought the goal early from a difficult shot and with a precise header, praised him a lot for being a savior with Karim Benzema.
It was fantastic for them to risk Real Madrid more relieved because at the beginning they would have lost but it turned 2-1 with extra time to 3-1 and this was indeed an epic comeback.
But this is indeed very appropriate because their experience in the Champions League is unquestionable.
But in the end the UCL title race for Mancity had to fail.

Manchester City were completely taken by surprise in the last minute, after Mahrez's goal in the 73rd minute they probably felt that was enough to keep him safe. But in fact, Real Madrid with a high winning mentality really did not give up until finally they were able to make two quick goals in the last minute of the match and were confirmed to qualify in extra time with Benzema's goal through the penalty spot. Once again Pep Guardiola failed to give Manchester City the UCL title, but on the other hand with Ancelotti who may have been in doubt before but they really made it this far to reach the UCL final. It's interesting to wait, whether Liverpool can really take revenge from their defeat in the 2018 UCL final, I hope the best for Liverpool this time.

I'm not too surprised by Real Madrid comeback last night, because Real Madrid have done it before with PSG. After losing in the first leg, Real Madrid can always make a comeback.  Real Madrid's struggle to make Manchester City eliminated in the semifinals, Manchester City small mistakes must be paid dearly. Pep Guardiola team will have to try again next year. In the Final, Real Madrid must avoid conceding goals first than Liverpool, because there is no second leg for Real Madrid to make a comeback. Grin

That was a great game yesterday. The first half was quite sleep-inducing, although both teams tried to make the best of it. Real Madrid did not want to run into a 0-1 counter quickly and continued to search patiently. after 10 seconds in the 2nd half Vinicius should have scored but he shot over, that was actually bad. After that Madrid had some chances but it was not really dangerous. What happened in the final phase is indescribable..
Man City played defensively when they had a 1 goal lead and Real Madrid continued to attack without giving up and their struggle paid off in the last minute of the game. it's a great match. It's a shame for Man City to have to give up their ticket to the final for Real Madrid even though it's only a little longer if they can defend well they will be in the final.

this is a very impossible thing to happen, but Real Madrid really made a miracle by scoring 2 goals at the end of the second half to force Man City to return to play in extra time. Real Madrid is really a team with a very high mentality. they do the unexpected.
now we will see the final Real Madrid against Liverpool. this finale would be ideal.
Everyone who enters the Champions League final will always look ideal, especially with two strong clubs this season from different countries, it is certain that the match will be more exciting than the previous one. And Liverpool will try to play super well because Liverpool know that Real Madrid is a very experienced club in the Champions League so the mentality is always better and bigger.
