Rulli (the Villarreal goalie) also had a part to play in Villarreal's exit from the Champions league last night, he was extremely poor across the two legs, he made numerous errors when the both sides met at Anfield, and i am pretty sure if Unai Emery had a better makeshift goalkeeper, then Rulli would not have started that game yesterday. I am not saying their exit was entirely his fault, but when your team is playing the way Villarreal was playing last night, you have to bail them out when it comes down to you, but everytime Villarreal needed him to help the team, he just let in cheap goals; shambolic.

Tonight we await the team set to join Liverpool in the final in paris in a few weeks time, i am going with City, for obvious reasons actually, but with Madrid you never can tell, at least until the 90 minutes are all up.

Back to the topic of which club plays the finals, I will say Manchester City vs Liverpool will not be a bad idea and it will be a finalist display of the two top clubs if Manchester City defeats Real Madrid in tonight's game.

However, I want Manchester City to qualify for the final this season compared to Real Madrid because I think the England final between Manchester City vs Liverpool is much more spectacular than Liverpool vs Real Madrid. I can't see it being a boring match. It's everything to play for, very finely balanced, but Madrid know they have to score, so it can't just be both teams sitting back and playing a cautious game. I don't really know who I'd prefer to go through. On the one hand, Madrid, because Liverpool vs Man City is just an all-England domestic match. But on the other hand... Liverpool and Man City have been fighting all year, and a showdown for the biggest tournament in club football would be a great way to finish the season.

Liverpool played an offensive defense game last now and haven't seen how the club went from goalless in the first half to score 3 goals in the second half is highly comendable trashing Villarreal out of the champion league qualifying leg.

In terms of the quality of the game, Leipzig is indeed better and it was very visible in the first leg match even though Leipzig was only 1 goal ahead. but that way there is still a high possibility for them to win again in the second leg when playing at home to Rangers.
