I seriously underrated Villarreal in the previous stage of the Champions League when they played Bayern Munich. I wrote them off when the draw was announced. They managed to win Bayern in the first leg and yet I wasn't impressed. I was still underrating them that Bayern will make a big come back against them.
I was surprised that Bayern did nothing in the end.
And it is Liverpool turn tonight and I know that Liverpool will do better. The Villarreal guys has a very strong defence and that is a very big advantage for them.

I can't say that Villarreal deserve to win this game. Because the game hasn't even started yet above all else. Cheesy

We will observe the teams to determine what side is playing better and then we can say such thing. And I think that Liverpool won't let them have too much chance against themselves in Anfield. I think expecting such a performance like that of yesterday in today's fixture will be overly demanding of the Villarreal and Liverpool, I won't expect Villarreal to be able to live up to match against Liverpool. They've got the what it takes, and eliminating Bayern Munich and Juventus in successive rounds is definitely no fluke, but Liverpool would also be wary of the threat.

Real Madrid really had a bad start from the first 30mninutes or thereabouts, but in the course of play their lapses we're correct which brought them to a 4:3 score line, even though City missed a lot of chances.

As for the game between Liverpool and Villarreal, I don't see much goals emanating from this very game tonight, but I believe the Reds would definitely dominate the game although Villarreal won't be that easy to penetrate but definitely Liverpool will win the game tonight.

Deserves to win is something else than actually being able to win. Liverpool is such a huge team and such a great roster that I wouldn't be shocked if they win like 4-0 or something because that is how good they are. I mean Villareal went to penalties against Manchester United just last year, and Liverpool won against them 4-0 and 5-0 this year. Sure, it's different season, but I am sure that it should be providing proof that Liverpool is much much much better.

I have to say this doesn't make Villareal a bad team, they are still a great team, they would be losing in the semi-finals which is a great deal for them, they should be quite proud to be here let alone losing to a club that may win it all in the end.

We have left a great night behind thanks to the great efforts by Manchester City and Real Madrid both. I wasn't expecting such a high-scoring game to tell the truth here. After Manchester City scored two goals in a very short time period, I started to think that Manchester City would win it by 3-1 or so the most. But Real Madrid made me surprised a lot. Because they didn't start well to the game and their defending style was really poor. I didn't like Militao at all especially. This is a pretty good choice in my opinion, even though Villarreal are currently in the eyes of other clubs because they managed to become dark horses, but indeed their chance to fight Liverpool is quite small which makes it quite difficult for Villarreal to fight.

Who can recall Villarreals coach Emery won both Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool during his days at Sevilla the score was three goals over Liverpool which they had one goal and that was in a final.
Can this be repeated once more in the Champions League, they both have won their previous games without the opposite side scoring a single goal.

Yesterday's game was a real spectacle. I saw a completely different Manchester City than against Atletico Madrid. There they even had 11 against 10 men and they almost lost that.
