Against Atletico Madrid I think Guardiola will not think too much about special tactics to be applied in that match, I think Guardiola already understands enough about Atletico Madrid style of play and so far Guardiola has a good meeting record when they have to face teams from Spain, other than that if note so far, the style of play at athletico has not changed at all every season, they will continue to rely on a hard and physical style of play in every match, besides that manchester city style of play which is more dominant in terms of possession of the ball will of course be able to destroy the style layered defense that has often been used by Atletico so far, I personally see that Manchester City is more likely to win the match than Atletico Madrid.

I see you're just going with the favorite teams on paper, while that's a smart move and that's what majority will be doing but I think we could see some disappointment in this quarter final. One or two big team could get knockout. This is champions league, all teams qualifed to this point have been exceptional and are capable of winning their game due to strategic approach and luck been on their side. I'm still believing this is going to be an all English finals and I'll be putting my bet on Chelsea vs Liverpool.

Obviously as a Chelsea fans, I strongly believe we can go pass Real Madrid and any of the team between Manchester City and Atletico Madrid (hopefully). We did it last season and if we were to play them again this season we could pull it otf. We facing Atletico means they'll be knocking out Manchester city and that's the strongest team on our road to the final. Manchester City getting knockout will be a disappointment and that could just be the disappointment I was talking about in the first paragraph of my post

If you read my post above, you will understand that I appreciate him and the whole Chelsea players. I said, Chelsea isn't a team to be underestimated since they have good players to beat any team. For Manchester City fans, take it easy. because Manchester City will qualify against Atletico Madrid because Pep Guardiola already understands very well how Diego Simeone strategy in coaching Atletico Madrid. The quality of Manchester City game while being coached by Pep Guardiola was quite convincing even though in the UEFA Champions League Manchester City had not won it. Who knows under Pep Guardiola, Manchester City can win this time.

Hopefully this will not be a significant gap later.
This condition really makes Chelsea affected at least until next season and it is also possible that they will also be different from before.

Not sure about this yet but hopefully they will be in the right hands later because it is certain that there will be a massive exodus when a change of ownership like this is sure to have an impact even if it doesn't have much effect but still it will feel good from the player's point of view , management and other things.
Until now I don't know about salman who is planning on this and it is possible that he will raise Newcastle which is his focus next season in my opinion

I really believe Manchester city is able to play smart and able to shift the ATM in the champions league, even though I have never met but I believe Pepguardiola is able to bring Manchester city to the semifinals of the champions league, because Pepguardiola already knows his weaknesses. I think not any effect after defeating from Barcelona on domestic league because Real Madrid as most experience team and have great mentality on champion league, maybe we can remember when success trough to quarter final where 1st leg defeated by PSG and can come back on 2nd leg for scoring 3-1 and have aggregate 3-2 for qualifying to quarter final. With internal problem for Chelsea I think give benefit for Real Madrid how possibility qualify to semi final. I believe have chance in this season for Real Madrid can trough to final stage beside have expectation to be champion and become most collected champion league trophy than other club.

Exactly Madrid's defeat in the El Clasico match against Barcelona does not mean that Real ended its role in the Champions League. We witnessed how he managed to return in the return match against Paris despite having football stars. Atletico Madrid have some good players but in the league they aren't performing well and if you compare it to Manchester City it's kind of like David versus Goliath. I don't see any possibility for Atletico to continue in a 2-game showdown. They should try to keep things closed especially in the back and then hope for some good counters, but City can play really good football with that team of theirs. A surprise would be nice. Atletico deserve to win the CL once.

Putting ATM and City in the same category as good teams would be a bad idea. I would say City is 2x as good as ATM could ever hope to become. I mean even on their greatest day, ATM is not as good as City. This doesn't mean that they can't beat them, just this year we have seen Sheriff, a team nobody knew about, end up beating Real who managed to beat PSG to get here.

So, you can see that sometimes underdogs could win and I get that and ATM could have something like that, they are certainly closer. However, City is the team that has been dominating the premier league for many years now, and managed to also reach finals last year as well. Quite big achievement.
