I don't see Real Madrid qualifying for the next round of the champions league, after they would played with the defending champions, Chelsea. Blues has what it takes to eliminate Real Madrid. Real Madrid are depending on their top striker Karim Benzema for goals. Even in their game against Barcelona, they lost to Barcelona because their was no finisher for them, same thing will be applicable against Chelsea. Let's hope that Benzema makes it on time and gained fitness before their clash with blues.

I personally will still choose Chelsea even if Benzema recovers later because at the moment, Chelsea are a very good team in their performance on the pitch. What's more, basically Chelsea have the best goalkeeper in the world in my view and yes, that is Edouard Mendy. I am very sure, Mendy will be able to make many strikers like Benzema have difficulty to score goals against Mendy. So yes, whether or not Benzema will play against Chelsea, I personally believe that Chelsea as the defending champion will be able to overcome this tough opponent to get back to the semifinals or even to the final again.

both coaches know each other and they can analyze the tactics that the opponent will use. but with different players, surely the coaches of both teams already have the ultimate strategy to target the opponent's weaknesses.

For me, the Man City vs Atletico match is very easy to predict, because after all, Man City is too strong to be beaten by Atletico. It's true that

I don't think so too, no disrespect to Athletico Madrid but i believe City will be too strong for them and i expect the champions of England to progress to the next round, Athletico will come into the game with a defensive mindset for sure, just as they always do, and i think that will be their own undoing as City will throw everything at them and get a couple of goals. Having said that, if Athletico are to have any chance in this game then they must change their philosophy of parking the bus, if they come into this game with that tactic, they are going to get beat pretty well.

Chelsea and Real Madrid are different teams. Chelsea are not like PSG as their system is completely different. Chelsea really like to annoy their opponents by their solid defense. But Real Madrid have the right player like Benzema to be still very strong in attacking. Chelsea will need to play really smart or they will be destroyed. This is my opinion.

If you look at Real Madrid attack, if Vinicius jr is making those his runs, it will distract the defence and Benzema will strike. He has high level accuracy. With Vinicius and Benzema, Madrid is ahead in attack. Then, if the Madrid coach will stop gambling unknown formations, Madrid midfield is also good.
But Chelsea also has good record against the Spanish side in H2H.

When it comes to the other matchups than the Chelsea - Real Madrid one, Manchester City - Atletico Madrid can be the second toughest matchup of this stage. Manchester City are still going to be the closest side to advance obviously but their opponent is not a team to be undervalued certainly. Atletico Madrid have started improving their effort and results in the recent times. And this can help them do nice things in Wanda Metropolitano at least. But the first leg is in Etihad Stadium. And Manchester City can get a win by two goals at least and have a good advantage already.
