Well Old Trafford has not really been a fortress of late with quite a lot of teams coming there and doing damage to United, i am not saying that playing at home wouldn't favor United, it will, but the advantage would not be too much. Having said that, this game is really going to be decided by fine margins, the two teams are really in the same sort of form, so picking a winner would prove to be a difficult thing to do, i will actually be rooting for manchester United though, i would fancy them to be a more interesting team to watch in the QF of the CL, Ronaldo is another big factor in my decision, i believe quite a lot of people would also want to see him in the CL QF just like me.

Ajax is a tough opponent from Benfica. I say this because Ajax has played 5 matches against Benfica so far. Benfica could not win any of the 5 matches. Ajax has won 2 matches and drawn 3 matches. The previous match was Benfica's home match. The match was drawn 2-2. Ajax will play at home today. I believe they will win and go to the next round.

Ajax are highly favoured for the Benfica match tonight. They have a winning odd like 1.33. But I understand this of course because there is a huge strength difference normally. The result of the first match shouldn't mislead anyone at this point. Ajax just wanted to secure a favorable result and they did actually. And now they can finish this by destroying Benfica here in Amsterdam. I don't wait for them to have the same scenario Bayern Munich did against Salzburg but Ajax still should be able to win this by at least a two-goal gap.

It is nearly time for some other actions in the Champions League. Ajax are playing versus Benfica home and it is the same for Manchester United versus Atletico Madrid. Taking the results in the first legs into account, Ajax and Manchester United both might not seem very comfortable now. But I think that especially Ajax are actually in a nice position. We all know how solid they are playing their home games in the end. And I don't expect Benfica to resist them. But as for the other game, everything can happen. But I have faith in Manchester United to win and advance.

Maguire makes frequent passing mistakes and scored an own goal in the last premier league game. Manchester united won the match thanks to three goals from Ronaldo. I must say it will be a very difficult tie. A more different one from the first leg. However, if the first leg was anything to go by, then Manchester united will need to do a lot to thwart this experienced Atletico Madrid side. They have been dominant in the UCL for years now, which means that Manchester United will have to be perfect to win the tie. With the away goal rule now abolished, Manchester united will have to be good both defensively and offensively to get the better of Atletico Madrid. Manchester united may be slight favourites, but Atletico proved with a 1-1 draw in the first leg that they are no pushovers. Their sharp attack will relish coming up against Manchester United's defence, which looks disorganized at the moment.

But Ronaldo has thwarted Atletico several times when he was at Real Madrid even I saw Diego Simeone's words "if there was no ronaldo maybe I would have champion" with those words whether Ronaldo will beat Atletico Madrid again but currently at Manchester united ?
I believe he is a great player to be the only lethal striker.

As hosts at Old Trafford I have bet 2.15 on Man United, of course they have full support at home.
