but atletico madrid has received fewer goals than barclona. this is also a big success
What? Fewer goals mean success!
I know what you mean. But at least it proves that Atletico Madrid has a stronger defense than Barcelona.
-snip-
lol Barcelona is now the new reference to see how bad or good a team done vs Bayern Tongue
I was very busy these days and I see there is many surprises in CL, Lazio winning vs Dortmund? Lazio dropped in performance badly since the last season restart... and how ManU managed to win vs PSG! and obviously no comments about Real Madrid...they will face hard times and Zidane will have to find a solution to this!

and what is Diego Simeone doing ? he is already jumping like a kangaroo on the sidelines ?
It's Simeone style, bro. He likes to show his expression, the same as José Mourinho.
Just enjoy it, don't bother him with the style!  Grin

Now let's see what happens if Munchen against Real Madrid? Will the result be 2-0 for Munchen.  Cheesy
Munchen looks unstoppable, I suspect if they already win this competition from the early stage.

4:0   goals today : 1:0 Coman (28.), 2:0 Goretzka (41.), 3:0 Tolisso (66.), 4:0 Coman (72.)
Even Coman can make two goals. I don't know what's happening with the youngster in Bayern Munchen, but they all seem very aggressive and play with full motivation.

Last season Bayern Munich won 6 out 6 matches in group stage, scored 24 goals and only 5 conceded. On the knockout phase, they beat Chelsea with agreegate of 7-2 after that they trampled Barcelona 8-2 and Lyon 3-0 . Given their previous record last season, I wouldnt be surprised if they beat the shit out of all other Club

If they could trampled Barcelona like some tier two team, they could beat any other Club out there and yeah so Im not really surprised to see Athletico Madrid ended up losing horribly today
3-0 , 4-0 it seems it was a normal margin winning for bayern munich.

The domination they had with a lot of chances could be more horrible for Atletico Madrid. There is no real competition in the champions league title race if you ask me for now considering how real madrid struggling .. barcelona declining .. Manchester are inconsistent so do with PSG while juventus might still have the champions league curse.
Should we expect for the underdog to win Champions League this season ? I always hope so every year tho.

Today's Uefa Champions League has been an interesting one except for Real Madrid which continues to defy all odds to make sure, it's fans becomes offset all it's just because, the fans aren't really much in the stadiums. It's very unlikely that a champions league team such as Real Madrid will continue yo loose this way. Two home games lost without even sharing a point. It might be the first game in this seasons Uefa Champions League but then, having an edge by conceiving less goals and not loosing a point would have put Real Madrid up front. With Real Madrid's style of play, I'm not sure they can even stand Liverpool. Liverpool seem to win by just a goal this in the UCL and Bayern Munich is out again to chase the title rather seriously. I won't be surprised if Bayern Munich ends up winning the league this season.

It is true that the UEFA Champions League a very interesting match, except for the result of the Real Madrid match which disappointed many parties.
Like Real Madrid too underestimated Shakhtar, so that the first half could be 3 goals behind. And the second half tries to catch up with the score,
but ultimately failed and ultimately had to suffer defeat. Unlike Liverpool who managed to beat Ajax 1-0, then Bayern Munich played very well and
convincingly. After defeating Atletico with a score of 4-0, I would not be surprised if Bayern Munich finally won the UEFA Champions League again.

What do you expect from Bayern Munich ? They basically trample every other club out there ever since last season and alot of people were really expecting them to win the first game . The pre match odds for Bayern Munich to win was around 1.5 - 1.6 and alot of people are definitely betting for them to win this one

I expected a scoreline around 2-1 or even 2-0 not 4-0. They made it look to easy to win a team of such caliber since Athletico isn't a team that goes down without a fight. Although their recent run in the Bundesliga has been good following their shocking defeat about 3 weeks ago.

Fun fact, 3 out of 4 Premier League team ended up winning their first game except for Chelsea which ended with a Draw. This totally looks bad for Lampard , He is doing miserably in Premier league and another draw in Champions League would be something he wants to avoid

Agreed. Lampard and the entire Chelsea team needs to start stepping up their game otherwise fingers would start being pointed to some people. With the kind of money Chelsea spent during the transfer window, they should be winning home games at least.

I also anticipated Bayern would win comfortably against Atletico Madrid but 4-0 is a little too much  Tongue.

I'm also glad my team (Liverpool) got the away win against Ajax. Not an impressive one but enough to put us on top of group D table just before Atalanta.

I would add to the list of surprising results 'Gladbach getting a point tonight, i had this one as a sure win for the homeside.
The visitors could've taken all three if it wasn't for Lukaku's 90th min equalizer, that's three straight disappointing results for Inter including two in Serie A, i expect them to pour their anger on Genoa this weekend...

How did you guys do with your bets tonight? I'm fooling around with double chance and total lately, getting decent results:

just a small technicality if i may:

If they end up losing tonight, It'll be their second consecutive loss at the Santiago Bernabéu.

What could be worse than losing 3 - 0 nil to such at the Santiago Bernabeu  Huh

Real Madrid are currently playing their home games at Alfredo Di Stefano stadium and will for a while...

Shocked at that result to be honest, I couldn’t believe what I was watching. It looks like this Real team have a long way to go to replicate the achievements of their peers at Real.

It seems that since Ronaldo left the soul was torn out of the club.
Not just the team soul after Ronaldo leaving the club but it is ripping apart the Real Madrid fans and the gamblers who are placing a bet on them. I never thought that they would humiliate like this, i lost a lot while betting for Real Madrid on a parlay when they faced Cadiz and it was a blunder on my part to expect them to win against Shakhtar Donetsk when they are struggling as a team.

And that's a wrap for the Champions league games this week. All games went as I expected except for Liverpool's game. I expected more goals in the game. I also anticipated Bayern would win comfortably against Atletico Madrid but 4-0 is a little too much  Tongue.  As for Real Madrid, they need to get their A-game back on unless they want to exist the tournament early.

Bayern destroyed Atletico de Madrid as predicted was an easy win for them considering their situation.

Inter managed to make a point at home at the last minute, if they didn't score the goal they were already with one foot outside the Champion's League IMHO.

Next turn next week, this Champions will be a rush in the group stage.

City - Porto game was ruined by referee. First, there was incorrect penalty given because there was foul agsinst Porto goalkeeper. Then, free kick when Gundogan scored - where there was foul!? Yeah, City was stronger today, but these referee decision left bad taste in mouth.
Bayern continue to destroy everything in their road. Even Atletico with their legendary defence had no chances today.
Inter - Borussia M. We had late drama here when Lukaku only managed to equalise score on 90 minute. Situation after 1st round in this group looks very interesting.
I expected that Atalanta can score a lot and they did it. Easy 4:0 win.
Ajax 0:1 Liverpool. Well, I expected something more from this game than just 1 goal scored. Haven't watched it, but seems it was tough game for LFC.

What's going on? RMA have been defeated by Shakhtar, City conceded goal at the beginning and seems to be counteracted by them tonight. Yeah, that's Champion League.
It is fortunate for people who did not bet on the Real Madrid vs Shakhtar match, because the result of the match was unexpected.
I didn't bet at the beginning of the match but later when RMA got 2 goals, I placed a bet with an odd of ~3 but bad luck, they couldn't make it happened.

This result is ever stranger when you take into account that Shakhtar played without 9 covid positive players and that they wanted to postpone the match. I guess they feel much better now Smiley
It worked ok for me on the ticket since I took both to score on Real match but will now loose the ticket on Liverpool both to score. How come they always concede a goal in Premier League and then tonight they decide to play defensively sound game even without Van Dijk and Alisson?

Bayern Munich has picked up exactly from where they stopped last season, 4 goals already against Atletico Madrid and they're don't seem to be stopping  Shocked

Man City have also completed their come back, and It's 3 - 1, surely 3 points in the bag!

I’ll be watching Real Madrid vs Shakhtar in a bit, be interesting to see how Real Madrid are getting on. Tgis is what some say ‘their’ competition after all.

hahaha, lucky I didn't place a bet on Madrid vs Shakhtar...
Shakhtar must have been very happy with their win, I am sure their confidence is growing.

I was one of the losers because I bet on Madrid's victory, I was disappointed with Madrid's game. Especially in the first half can conceded
3 goals, fortunately in the second half of the Madrid game there was an improvement and managed to score 2 goals. But still the final result
Madrid failed to win.

Am I glad I did not bet on any of these matches today, with the choices I was going to make I would've lost all of them.

First I was going to bet against ManU for PSG or draw, considering ManU's track record at the Premier League this season, and I thought the victory against Newcastle wasn't going to help them against a more organized club like PSG... boy was I wrong.

Then I was going to bet for Real Madrid this match, but they had an awful first half and as much as they tried to save the game they fell short by two goals and Valverde's goal at the very end was ruled out by VAR.

Ajax vs Liverpool is a interesting game to watch. Ajax got the best changes till so far. Lets see how it goes.

Now I'm a bit shaky placing bets for Liverpool considering their draw with Everton a few days ago, van Dijk and possibly Alisson being out lean me towards double chance 1X. At any rate, there will be at least 3 goals scored by both sides so that is a safe bet for sure (hopefully I don't get burned again).

Oy Vey, before I could place an Asian total bet, Liverpool already scored a goal. I wonder if I should leave this match alone.
