It was a shock for Aston Villa in the first half. After taking a 2-0 lead with two goals from El Kaabi, Aston Villa relaxed a bit after Watkins' goal at the end of the first half to reduce the deficit to one. Now the half time talk will be easier. It would have been very troublesome for them if they went into the break 2-0 down. If they draw quickly in the second half, they can turn this game around. Time is on Olympiacos' side. Aston Villa need to take control of the game as soon as possible and take the lead with goals. Otherwise, they will face a very difficult rematch in Greece.

I also thought that everything should have turned out much better for Aston Villa, but they lose 0:2 in the first half. I would have thought that Emery prefers the Premier League, where they will most likely be able to keep their place in the Champions League zone, which is quite logical, but Aston Villa is in the semi-finals of the Conference League, actually one step before the final, and stopping now would be stupid, so apparently Olympiacos is now quite strong. There is still a second half, let's see what Emery can come up with to improve the situation.

Aston Villa  journey this season is quite impressive in the Conference League after they managed to beat Ajax and also Lille to be able to reach the semi-finals today, facing Olympiacos does not seem to be a difficult match for Aston Villa today, the quality of players possessed by Aston Villa today is of course far from that possessed by Olympiakos,  In addition, the game strategy and experience possessed by Unai Emery can of course be an important factor that Aston Villa has to be able  win in the match later, indeed Olympiacos may be able to trouble Aston Villa but to beat Aston Villa is certainly not an easy job for Olympiakos, when I see the Olympiacos match that defeated Fenerbache in quarterfinals , I thought Olympiacos game was not very good and even in that game Olympiacos just lucky to win because of a mistake made by Ismail Kartal in players substitutions.

I personally predict the 3-0 score for Aston Villa victory will be the end result of the first leg match today.
For other matches, it looks like Fiorentina will face a relatively easy match against Brugge later, so it is very likely that this season's Conference League final will bring together Aston Villa and Fiorentina later.

I expect a comfortable win for Aston Villa. It seems that simple to me today.    Because there is just such a huge quality gap between the games they play. Aston Villa are different with Emery this season. They are much more deadly in the attacking line. I can't say Olympiacos are one of the best defensive teams among the remaining ones in the tournament too.

They have no choice except parking the bus today as a result. Even that wouldn't be enough for them in my opinion. I really like Watkins' performance recently and he will be a big threat here as well. I think he will score and Aston Villa will win by a gap of two or three goals.    Maybe even a bigger gap would be seen depending on Olympiacos' mental strength.

I think there is a big difference in quality and strength between Aston Villa and Olympiakos. Olympiakos had a lucky qualification against Fenerbahce and reached the semifinals. They don't have quality individual players but tactically they are well prepared for the game.

Olympiakos prefer fast and up tempo football, but if they play at a high tempo against Aston Villa they could have a big problem. For this reason, Olympiacos will prefer a more controlled game in this match. Aston Villa, on the other hand, will want to transfer the game to the opponent's half from the beginning of the match, especially with wing organizations and by playing a pressing football in the half-court. I think the first forty five minutes are important for Aston Villa and a goal in the first half can change the fate of the match. Otherwise, it could increase Olympiacos resistance before the second leg. Aston Villa will start fast and will want to win in the first match.

This is very important match for both Aston Villa v Fiorentina, Aston villa has recorded best performance from the beginning of the season and their main target was to gain access to the Champions League which I see that their dreams are gradually coming through. I still don't believe this two teams will meet in final because all the four teams that remain are very consistent and i personally can't predict the quality teams, Aston Villa, Fiorentina, CLUB BRUGGE, Olympiacos are the four teams that remain.

Aston Villa vs Olympiacos and Fiorentina vs CLUB BRUGGE, Fiorentina have to push harder to maintain the same place as last season and improve to lift the trophy but can they pass through CLUB BRUGGE because CLUB BRUGGE had a good performance in their last five matches compared to Fiorentina performance. I have much interest in today's matches, let all wait and see the outcome of the games.

There are usually no easy matches in the semi-finals, but Aston Villa's rival, Olympiacos, is a team that will have a hard time holding on here. I think it will be an easy match for Aston Villa. Aston Villa, which will return with a different victory at home, can buy its ticket to the final early.
In the other match, Fiorentina seems to be the favorite, but Club Brugge has played good matches this season. It's a slightly more balanced matchup there. Club Brugge have always won their last matches, they are in great form. I like their style of play, it wouldn't be surprising for me if they reach the final.

I think it will be an easy game for Aston Villa. It will be a very difficult game for Olympiakos.
Aston Villa are the favorites for this cup and I predict they will be the team that wins the cup this year.

Fiorentina - Club Brugge game will most likely end in a draw. Both teams are of equal quality.

I also think we will see Aston Villa and Fiorentina in the final. Club Brugge is full of surprises, though. Fiorentina's job may be difficult. Aston Villa's job is easier for them because they are paired with a team with a serious difference in quality. I think the winner will be an English team again in the final. If I'm not mistaken, West Ham United also won this cup in previous years.

Football matches are quite unpredictable at this point and nothing is real certain till after 90 minutes of play on the field. I feel we just make our predictions based on the clubs current performance and then track record of the matches between the teams.
 
 Olympiacos and Club Brugge being underestimated is quite bizzare and the former while at home this season are real fierce and one side that can hurt you because their home record is quite great and they’re a delight to watch whilst playing infront of their home fans. Club Brugge of recent have been a very great team to be able to perform quite excellent in the Belgian League.

 ⁠Aston Villa and Fiorentina are favorites because of how top these teams have been performing since the season started till now even in Europe. Well it’s understandable why persons already see a final between these teams and yes it’s quite possible.
 
 These teams yes have the advantage but must not overlook on their opponents because this is the semifinals and any team that gets to this stage can be able to hurt you. Well it will all be decided after 90 mins and anything can happen, so the best team to be cautious will be able to get to the finals.

Fiorentina was failed to gets the trophy from this competition last season because at the final match they were lost from West Ham and i am sure they would be so curious and had an ambition to targetting the trophy so Fiorentina will be hard struggling to win from Club Brugge and reach to the final match and indeed according to the odds we can see it that Fiorentina is the favourite with odds @1.72 and because Fiorentina playing at their home today so they have to utilized this match with very well and if possible they should be able to win with a big scores

According to the squad conditions between them i can see whether it Fiorentina and Club Brugge in the good conditions because there was no key players from them who got injured so both teams can playing using all of their best players but Fiorentina should beware of Club Brugge players Andreas Skov Olsen and Igor Thiago because these players currently as Club Brugge top scorer in all competitions and potentially they can make Fiorentina defensive lines gets in trouble and for betting option indeed bet for Fiorentina win seems good pick because most likely they will being an the winner of this match but just like i said above i expect Fiorentina can win with big scores with 2 goals margin or more

We can say that it was a well-deserved semi-final for Olympiakos. Even though Fenerbahçe played well, they were eliminated on penalties. The young Greek goalkeeper saved 3 penalties, Livakovic did his best and saved 2 penalties, but when even players who were effective at set pieces like Tadic missed penalties, Fenerbahçe was eliminated from the semi-finals. I think Aston Villa will have the upper hand in the first match, but it would not be right to say for sure in football.

Yes you are right but I think this season and last season the conditions will be much different and of course if we talk about Fiorentina then I also agree they are strong team here and have big chance of fighting for the title in the final match. But I think Aston Villa is also not weak team and Aston Villa this season has performed very satisfactorily.
If the final brings together Fiorentina and Aston Villa then I sure Aston Villa will win it so that this will be repeat of the final where Fiorentina lost to English team.
Look at how the 4 team currently in the semifinals, Fiorentina and Aston Villa are the teams that really look very dominant, they have big chance so this is quite an interesting competition.
It just that everything I said is prediction based on the assessment of all the remaining team, there will be opportunities for change if they experience changes in their playing strength performance conditions in the future.

In my opinion it is still too early to think that the final will be between Fiorentina and Aston Villa, I say this because Olympiacos are not a very weak team, they have managed to score a lot of goals and there are times when Aston Villa have disappointed, if Aston Villa make a mistake in the game against Olympiacos, then it is possible that Aston Villa will end up with a defeat in tomorrow's game or a draw. If Aston Villa manages to win in tomorrow's game and score at least 3 goals and not concede any goals, then they will have a good advantage, because Olympiacos' biggest danger is the games they play at home, when Olympiacos are playing at home. home, they have managed to score a lot of goals and that will be a problem for Aston Villa if they lose in tomorrow's game or win but while they scored 1 goal

In the case of Fiorentina's game against Brugge, in my opinion we should not underestimate Brugge. We just need to look at their performance to realize that they are a good team, they have a good attack and good defense. In my opinion the Brugge club will beat Fiorentina and I see the Brugge club reaching the final, Fiorentina despite having won in the last games, they still don't convince me, in series A they are not doing well, but at least in the last 3 games in which they did in series A they managed to have 2 wins and 1 draw while club brugge has not lost in the last 5 games of the Belgian league

Aston Villa under Unai have been one very improved side as this season in the league they have been able to secure top 4 spot and just need a win to cement that. Unai is one very sound coach and good tactics have now brought Aston Villa back to the limelight in England.

 Their performance in Europe too hasn’t declined as they are mow in the semifinals of the conference league and the only England team still remaining in Europe. This match isn’t going to be a very tough one for the team as they’re more sound tactically than Olympiacos team.

 ⁠Aston Villa will be well composed when they’re away but I trust the fierce attack of Diaby, Bailey and Watkins to do the damage at the Villa park. It will be one thrilling encounter and very exciting to see Villa in the finals of the conference league. ⁠In the other semi final, I think Fiorentina stands a better chance in the finals and a final with Aston Villa will be thrilling and exciting to watch. I can’t wait for the season to end let’s see the new shape of European competitions.

Olympiacos can do whatever they would like but it would be in vain anyway. Neither away nor home I believe they can't get a good result against Aston Villa. As probably Aston Villa will demolish them in the 1st leg already there wouldn't be much motivation left for Olympiacos players later on. 

For the other one, I'm favouring Fiorentina of course. I respect Club Brugge's effort so far but I don't feel like this is their time to reach the finale. It's going to be the first time ever these teams face each other by the way.

Aston Villa - Fiorentina. I expect these ones to challenge each other for the trophy. 

Of course it is easy to think that Aston Villa will be the favorite and the one to qualify compared to the two teams,Aston Villa is from Premier League,the league most of us think is the strongest and mos beautiful league in Europe and not only while Olympiacos despite having more history in European cups than Aston Villa they still come from the Greece Super League and we all know in quality is much lower compared to the Premier League and that is why I also think that Aston Villa will have an easy elimination semi final leg which most likely will see them in the final.

In the other semi I see another easy one for the same reason above and I think Fiorentina will come out in final,it will be a beautiful final.

Aston Villa will face Olympiakos tomorrow in the semifinal match of the UEFA European conference league. Aston Villa is the favorite for me but in the previous round they eliminated Lille from the tournament after a penalty shootout. I was expecting them to go through more easily. Tonight they will play against Olympiacos. In the previous round Olympiacos eliminated Fenerbahce. I watched their 2 games against Fenerbahce and I don't think they will have a chance against Aston Villa. I see Aston Villa as the clear favorite in this match and in this round.

Olympiacos definitely be destroyed if they implemented a total defensive strategy against Aston at home.
They are not used to with a total defensive strategy, because in the league they are the team that is used to an attacking strategy.

In fact, if the Fenerbache manager played his best 11 players when they away to Olympiacos, Fenerbache definitely will get a ticket to the semifinals.
Fenerbache made too many technical and non-technical mistakes in the 1st and 2nd legs against Olympiacos, I would be surprised if Fenerbache didn't change their manager for next season.

Fiorentina look like they have an unfinished work from the previous season. As a reminder, they qualified for the final stage here last year but West Ham became the champions.



Once again they have a serious potential to play another final match against an English team. This time it is a more challenging opponent though.    In case of an Aston Villa v Fiorentina final which looks quite likely, I think there will be another sad ending for Fiorentina. I just don't see a high chance for them while Aston Villa are this much dedicated.

Is there anyone who expects different teams than these to reach the final?
