England will have Wembley advantage but is it actually a disadvantage with all that pressure?

Yes, there is a lot of pressure. England have a bad record against Germany, and have lost to them in important matches a few times. There is a big psychological barrier for England to overcome here. The players will be worried, I think... whereas Germany are more used to winning, and don't have any pressure of home advantage, either, plus expectations for their team are lower than usual.

If Germany plays like against France and Hungary then they won't have a chance against England. If they play like against Portugal they have a good chance to proceed to the next round. Germany shows two completely different faces as already in the qualification and in the preparation matches. In some matches they play unbeatable football and in others you have to fear that they will go down. I only remember the game a few months ago against Spain, when they lost 0-6. The same Spanish team which does not play very well in this tournament yet.
So I think the match against England is completely open for both sides. But I would favor England, also because of the home advantage.

Its an important game for england true they are not in the best form but i think its their chance to advance to the next round germany had many difficulties and they are not in a strong form they barely got a draw against hungary plus england did not conceid goals in the first round which is a good thing they played with some good teams like croatia.

And on paper, it is actually difficult to predict the England vs Germany duel later because both teams have their respective strengths and weaknesses.
Both have the opportunity to cover these shortcomings because they have to take a long break before the match on June 29, and in terms of the game the two teams are also not much different and are not teams that rely on high skill or technique.
there is nothing exciting about their game and England are having a hard time scoring goals, and Germany so far, there is not a single player who really stands out in their team.
Never expect much from England as you might be disappointed by it. England vs Germany can be called as one of the good matches in the last 16, but England is not as good as expected. So far they won 2 matches and 1 draw in the group stage, but they only managed to score 2 goals. I think Germany can be seeded vs England in the round of 16.

It is not a disadvantage because all of this players are used to playing under pressure in full stadiums. So this will be a boost for England. Germany played awful against Hungary and o most got knocked out it will be intresting too see what will happen in that match

The match will take place in Wembley, the home of football. England will be having a huge home advantage. Germany is the same team which lost pathetically to North Macedonia a few months back (although recently they won against Portugal by a big margin). I see zero chance for a win by Germany. No matter how attractive the odds are, I am not going to make a bet in their favor. And at least for me, the odds are not even attractive. Most of the sportsbooks have Germany between +190 and +200.

England can't beat Germany if they play the way they do, but Germany also can't even defend against the worst team in their group so I have no idea how that game plays, but please, don't go for 0-0 as that would be the most boring outcome for us all. England will have Wembley advantage but is it actually a disadvantage with all that pressure?
Even though England played at home but still I don't believe that was the trigger to win and even, these two teams played at home during the group stage but still the result was bad. But if I had to choose who would win, I personally would still choose Germany even though basically I don't like them because they don't look very good in the group stage and tend to look boring.

Belgium - Portugal = Draw
Italy - Austria = Italy maybe draw
Netherlands - Czech Republic = Netherlands
Wales - Denmark = Wales
Winners in my choice are: Belgium, Italy, Netherlands and Denmark.

I don't think Austria will be able to have a draw with Italy. The choice between Belgium and Portugal is hard but Belgium are stronger. Netherlands will dominate the match with Czech. Wales look to have better players but I think they will fail against Denmark because Wales did not show their best and Denmark have big win in the final day in their group. They might keep up their good form and win against Wales.

Also think that these teams will win, Denmark had a good group stage but think that Wales will win, otherwise I think like you Netherlands, Belgium and Italy are in the next round. The weak teams will definitely play very defensively.

Now that group stage is over it's clear that among the top teams only Italy, Netherlands and Belgium performed greatly. France, Germany, Portugal, England and Spain struggled a lot. History tells that from now on everything changes, every game is a final on its own. And even the teams that struggled can make it to the cup.

I actually expected more from these teams, I think that Spain and Germany will be eliminated in this or the next round.

I agree. The probability of this game reaching a penalty shootout is very high. One has difficulty in scoring... the other in defending... in the end it should be a dicidio game for the team that dominates the midfield.

Not your keys, not your coins!
Netherlands, Italy and Belgium became the 3 teams that managed to achieve perfect points in the EURO group stage this time. However, Belgium will meet Portugal, which looks like in this match, they will probably have a hard time getting 3 points. Indeed, in terms of results, Belgium is better than Portugal, but if Ronaldo has a lot of free space, maybe Portugal will beat Belgium.

Italy is lucky enough to meet Austria, of course Italy will predicted as winner by a lot of people. Maybe Welsh predicted was right. Italy will keep a clean sheet in this match. I think, match will ended with 2 - 0 for Italy
Perfect 9 points can not help them to reserve a spot in quarter final. They have to fight and win their matches in Round 16. Italy and Netherlands can win a bit easily but Belgium will have to show their best performance to win against Portugal.

For Belgium, I am worrying about Eden Hazard because Belgium will need him to fight with strong opponents. Only De Bruyne will be bad because other teams will concentrate their best sources to constrain De Bruyne and his connections to Belgium team mates.

Portugal need to see the best Bruno Fernandez too. The player lost his performance in the group stage and it seems the abuse from Solskajer affects his fitness in Euro.

According to the graphic it looks that the second group (beginning at Sweden) is easier than the first group. Especially for my homeland Germany. If they would beat England the quarter final against Sweden or Ukraine should be easier than against one team of the first group (Italy, Croatia o Spain).

I've been quite impressed with Portugal. I'm not even sure why, but I sort of wrote them off against France. Although, France haven't seem to live up to their very high ceiling potential this tournament. Pogba, and Mbappe have been linking up nicely, but other than that I feel they have been slightly lacking.

Wales have lost a defender to the red card that came last match, but I think we have enough to either edge it against Denmark or hold them to a draw. I'm personally betting on a draw, but can see Bale getting a cheeky goal in.

Here's the rest of my predictions:

Wales draw
Italy with a clean sheet
Netherlands
France with a clean sheet

Portugal managed to hold France to a draw with a score of 2-2, and with the result of the match ensured Portugal and France managed to penetrate the last 16 match, in that match both teams played quite hard and it was proven by the many yellow cards and penalties that occurred in the match, but unfortunately the match was a bit tainted by the actions of the French supporters who threw the Portuguese player (Ronaldo) with bottles of mineral water, I don't know what the French fans were thinking when they did it, even though whatever result France got in that match no longer affects their team qualification, and I think this is closely related to what Ronaldo did a few days ago, namely shifting drinks coke at press conference

It was to cool off... It was very hot and that was a way to cool off the player.  Roll Eyes

What is certain is whether both teams will meet again in the semi-finals, if they win the next games.

But in my opinion it indicates that there are still stupid supporters who are still creating dishonorable acts in a football match, and of course this will greatly affect the FFF (Fédération Française de Football ) later and they may get sanctions from UEFA for the actions of their supporters who are not commendable. If indeed the two teams will meet again, of course it will be quite a hot match and I hope there will be no more incidents of throwing mineral bottles to cool the atmosphere on the field Grin

The group of death was really exciting to watch yesterday. For the competition it is good that 3 best teams went through but I'm kinda sad that the Hungarians didn't hold on at the end.

They played admirably against top 3 teams and would probably go through if they were placed anywhere else.

Regarding the knockouts, we drew Spain which was by far the worst option. Really a shame because we got them only after Sweden's goal in the 95th minute.

I am also sorry for Hungary, although it must be said that they were very lucky against France and should have lost that match.
Germany played a great match against Portugal and I did not expect them to struggle so much against Hungary.
As for Croatia, history seems to be repeating itself because a similar situation happened at the last European Championship.
Croatia should have played against Iceland, if I remember correctly, but then the Icelanders scored in the last minute of the third game in their group and in the end Croatia got the strongest possible opponent, Portugal.
In fact, it may be better to play against the strongest team because in such a match, Croatian players are the most motivated and provide the best game.

After such an enchanting end of the group stage of the tournament, it is rather difficult to wait for the next stage of the tournament for three whole days  Smiley And it's hard to realize that there will be only one match a day, on the other hand, this will allow us to approach betting more seriously and study the match and bets on it in more detail.
