The results today are very surprising for me. I would have guessed France a win and Germany would be a draw. Very strong performance from Germany and deservedly won, respect. Even if the Portuguese have officially scored 4 goals. In the last game today, I am assuming a clear win for Spain.
If Portugal are to qualify they need to charge their defence to do better, I watched their match. The forward were trying their best to equalise the goals from 1-3 down before they began to lose concentration and the 4th one poured in. It's really embarrassing for them however, the Germans played them really tactical. They showed they needed the match to have a place to stand in the next match. France doesn't seem to win Portugal that easily.

Did Enrique bring the Barca-Madrod feud to the national team? I can't record any Real Madrid player representing the national team, it will be really embarrassing for Spain to get knocked out in the group stage of EURO.

'Life's but a walking shadow'!
And Spain - Poland game has ended 1-1. I should say that I'm really surprised with this result. After drawing with Sweden 0-0, I'd expect a win from Spain in this game. But Poland did a really good job here. Lewandowski scored their goal as many people can predict easily as well.  Grin
Luis Enrique would be scratching his head at this moment, if Spain fail to qualify for the knock out stages it's going to be a big disappointment for them and thus will cause Enrique to lose his job. He left some key players out of the squad for the entire tournament, Sergio Ramos for example was one of the omitted ones, critics would quicky be on Enrique's neck if Spain be eliminated in the group stages, it can still be averted, but I'm sure they would have preferred a more comfortable position atm.

Slava Ukraini!
Another not inspiring game of Spain. Another draw with not top tier opponent. Morata goal looked like offside, but VAR replay showed that he wasn't in offside. Spain also got lucky when Poland failed to score in the end of 1st half when Lewandowski shot was straight into goalkeeper. So far Spain results raise some question about Enrique squad selection. And Morata missed penalty, I can't remember any major tournament when there was so many missed penalty.
And Germany - Portugal, what a game. After difficult game with France, I expected to see different face of Germany today, but I didn't expected such performance. Especially considering that they conceded fist. This group looks so interesting before last round And today's result shows that we also can't write-off Hungary yet.

Until now I put France and Italy in the same level followed up by the teams you mentioned except Spain (Spain x2 BTW in the text) which I want to see how it will perform against Poland first.

Changing my tier list after the turn 2 has been completed.
I can't put Italy at the same as France since they are the champions, the favorite and they have so much potential but...

TIER S France

TIER A Italy Belgium

TIER B Spain Germany England Nederlands

Atleast until now.

Why couldn't they score one more goal so at least our over 4.5 goals scored promo would be a winning one.

Yeah was hoping that they scored another goal again but atleast with 6 goals on that match, it is decent for the 120 goals special bet

Its funny that so many goals scored by him ruled out by VAR for offside

Lol, iirc he had alot of his goals ruled out by VAR in Juventus as well but atleast that one got through Tongue

So Spain had 2 draws in a row and its not looking good for them right now. The last match would be against Slovakia and Spain need to win if they want to qualify for the next round through the top 2 of the group stage. Thats pretty rough for Spain considering that they are the group's favourite but it seems that it is not the case

So, Morata's goal looked offside. Was flagged offside, and there wasn't that much of an argument from even Morata himself, and then VAR review, goal. Have to say that was lucky, but I guess this is why VAR's here.

Its funny that so many goals scored by him ruled out by VAR for offside earlier and now after a long time he gets a goal after a VAR review when he had no hope.  Cheesy Cheesy  Anyway that opens the score for him and Spain against Polland and maybe shuts the mouth of haters for some time now.

But what a feast from Germany. Sorry that Portugal lost as they were sharp on the counter at first. Two own goals, guess their good luck from first match evened out today.

Germany were pressing very hard and that was very hard for Portugal defense to handle. Two own goals was the result of that. Germany today were totally superb and Portugal's defense were really clueless. Portugal attack was very good today but that wasn't enough for them to win the match.

This game will probably decide who will go to next stage. Portugal beat Hungary very easily but Germany will do the same, and France will probably beat Portugal as well, which means whoever ends up losing this game will be third, with three points.

Considering there is a chance of thirds going up (some thirds do, the worst 2 doesn't) is there a chance that either of these teams be in the bottom three or not? I am not entirely sure what is going to happen but I know that there is a good chance we may end up with one of these teams eliminated because of this game. It is still unknown, loser could still go up, but it is a big risk and neither of these teams wants to take that risk, they want to win and win big to make sure they go up without a hiccup. I am going to bet on Portugal, Ronaldo has been crazy and I think he could still pull some magic trick.

Haha. After seeing how Germany messed up Portugal earlier today, my confidence in their team has taken a huge blow. Ronaldo might be a key player for Portugal but you've to understand that teams like Germany will capitalize on neutralizing a threat like Ronaldo and kept him quiet. He had just few "aha" moments. First with that goal (with assist from Jota) and assisting Jota for the second Portugal goal. Portugal has to do better than their display today and going against a balanced like France, I don't see that happening. If the final game gets too hard for France to win Portugal, they would just get a draw at least. Even a draw gives France 1/2 getaway spot to the next round.

it shouldn't really matter for a team like france whether they become 1st or 2nd in the group. they are always favorites in the game after. and then it is not even certain that the number 1 from another group is also the strongest country. England for example can also become 2th, then you prefer the number 1 from that group

It looked offside on the first watching but there was a leg left from opposition player so all good and finally one VAR call I can endorse 100%.

I was really surprised with Germans scoring 4 goals against usually very solid Portuguese side. Granted 2 of those were own goals but it was achievement anyway. Why couldn't they score one more goal so at least our over 4.5 goals scored promo would be a winning one.

In Euro 2020, teams are ineffective in scoring on penalties. I can say that there have been 3 or 4 missed penalties in the Spain-Poland match so far. At the end of the championship, perhaps the tournament with the most missed penalties will be Euro 2020. Having good matches and the presence of spectators in the stadiums, especially after the pandemic, added a different atmosphere to football. Euro 2020. Matches played in Denmark, Russia and the Netherlands are being played at full capacity.
My favorite is Italy. Italy plays top quality football and team play.

Germany showed class and put a championship performance against one of the high rated teams. After France loss they put their heart out and became in second place in the group. Let's see who will say the last word, Germany will play with Hungary so their chances are higher for first place.
Yes they showed good performance but i did not see this outcome i thought it will be a draw since portugal are one of the favorite and germany did not afford to lose this game and now they have more chance than portugal but anything can happen since today france were not able to win against hungary so it can be a though team to beat.

There we go, another goal and score stands 4-1 Germany in the lead with 3 goal cushion. Like I said earlier, Germany are attacking and pressing the defense quite well. They are attack in a very well coordinated manner and there we go 4-1 and maybe more to come the way Portugal defense are clueless against Germany's attack. A good entertaining match for Germany fans and backers today. They desperately needed the points after the france defeat and they will be having it today,

Wow, that was a great game to watch! A really strong performance by the German national team until the 60th minute. After an unfortunate 0-1 at the start, two own goals by the Portuguese turned the game around. Afterwards, the German national team played strongly. In particular, the full-backs Gosens and Kimmich played a major role in the German national team taking a 4:1 lead. After there were a few substitutions, the game flow of the German team got a little lost. Portugal were able to cut the score once more, but the Germans defended quite well in the last ten minutes.

All in all, a well-deserved result. It looks like the German team is getting hungry for more. Can't wait for the game against Hungary on Wednesday!

Other matches Spain vs Poland we know Spain is the favorite here but sometimes there are surprises as happened in the previous match between France vs Hungary , I think there will be a lot of goals so i go with over 2.5 goals Lewandowski and Morata will attack each other
after watching the first half, i think Spain will win this match, there won't be no surprises, and i also think Poland won't score, this match is going for a 2-0 for Spain of course, probably 1-0 but two goals is more likely to happen.

Entering the second half, and the score is still 1 - 0, I placed a bet on Poland +1.5, do you think the score will continue to be 1 - 0 until the game is finished or Poland will score and make the final score a draw?

I Hope the score will stay the same until the game ends so I win my bet Cheesy

...

due to the two results of today (france 1-1 against hungary and the victory of the germans against portugal) germany has the possibility to reach the 1/8 final even as top of the table.
in the last games in the group everything is still possible
hungary - germany
france - portugal

In several meetings between Spain and Poland, Spain has always won by scoring more than 2 goals and from the existing statistics, Spain is certainly more favored in today's match, especially in 10 meetings of Spain against Poland, Spain managed to record 8 wins, 1 draw and 1 lost against Poland, I personally also hope that this match will be exciting because both teams need full points in this second match to be able to advance to the next phase, especially in the previous match both teams got pretty bad results, so as to keep the chances of qualifying for 16 Of course victory is an absolute requirement for both teams in  match.
My prediction is maybe Spain will win by a score of 4 - 1

Germany ran riot against Portugal, I had know that Germany would win, but after going behind in the first half I thought it could the their game vs France repeating itself. But the turned things around deserved their win.

Spain have just taken lead in 25th minute, I think it should be an easy ride from here on..: If so Poland campaign has probably come to end. Poland are not playing with any sense of urgency.
