Looks like it is all over for Scotland. Czechia ahead by 2-0. Unbelievable second goal from Patrik Schick (his second in this match). Now Scotland needs a minimum of 4 points from their matches against Croatia and England. Scotland wanted the equalizer so badly that they ignored their defense. Even the goalkeeper had come out of the penalty box. Schick made use of the opportunity and scored his second. If anyone missed the second goal, then make sure that you watch the highlights of this match. I would rate it as the best goal so far in this year's tournament.

Do you think Scotland will win against strong opponents like England and Croatia? At least I don't think so. England and Croatia are much stronger. Scotland does not have the ability to win against them. They are not doing well against a team like the Czech Republic. They attack a lot but can't score.

Yes, 0-2 and seems like the end of the story to me. Two teams that should really be equal to each other. But 0-2 is not a strange result in itself, if it stays that way. Scotland still have a chance to qualify after this defeat, but it won't be easy if you look at who else is in the group. Then you can't really lose this match. yesterday we saw Ukraine turning 0-2 into 2-2 in 8 minutes.

It is just getting crazier. Another excellent save from the Czech goalkeeper. I would say that if anyone else was the goalkeeper other than Vaclik, then Scotland would have at least equalized by now (but then it will be Schick who gets all the credit for the win today). So far in this match, he made at least 3 superhuman saves. With around 20 minutes remaining, I don't think that Scotland has a chance here. Now the Scotland vs England match on Friday gets really interesting. Scotland at least need a draw from that match to stay alive in the competition.

Results while the czech lead the match 0-2 over their opponents scotland tonight and it's really very hard to believe, if P. Sachik scores a very beautiful goal in this match, from the few group stage matches that have happened, i think the second goal from P. Sachik in the match tonight was a very beautiful goal from long-range, tonight's match was completely dominated by the Czechs and it looks like Scotland are under a lot of pressure after the Czech's second goal.

Looks like Czechia will get three points today, as they are ahead 1-0 (thanks to the goal from Patrik Schick). It will be disappointing for Scotland, who had the majority of the possession so far. Scotland had 6 shots till now, compared to 4 from Czechia. A defeat here would most probably mean that Scotland fails to progress to the knockout stage. In case anyone is watching this match live on TV, then you will understand that the Scots are just plain unlucky. The Czech goalkeeper prevented at least a couple of excellent shots in the last 2 minutes (47-49 minutes).

Lol Patrik Schick scored 2nd goal in the 52 minute czech really took over the game and if this continues then the czech can score again damn I lost the bet
Scotland seems to be at a stalemate in this condition the coach must take action they only have less than 25 minutes.

I was thinking Scotland's attacks could payoff and earn them a draw. They almost did hitting the woodwork but the second goal by Czech Republic killed their chances. It should be interesting towards the end if they score 1 soon.

...

I find the Spain vs. Sweden a bit tricky. Does anyone fancy a draw in this match?

if it were up to the market values of the respective national players, the team would then look like this and have a value of over 1 million EUR Grin

the most expensive would be K. Mbappe with 160M EUR and the "cheapest" the goalkeeper T. Courtois with "only" 60M EUR

hmph..

I also see it as a tough decision.

Continuing his career could be a rather foolish decision; but on another hand he will still have to do sports in order to stay healthy.
And he probably loves his job too  Wink

But like with anything else, he has to decide for himself.
I'd add that probably he has contracts still running and may be difficult to just stop; so the real decision may happen only after those contracts end.

indeed, the decision rests with him. However, if his family and doctors urge him to stop playing, then it looks like he will make the decision to quit. So far it's just a rumor, if he can still continue his career, of course this is good news for all football lovers, both Denmark and Inter Milan supporters. According to Eriksen's agent published on RTE, Eriksen doesn't want to give up, maybe this is a signal that Erikesn still wants to play, he just has to wait for the results of the doctor who treated him.

Today I bet on the victories of Poles and Spaniards. Spain is the absolute favorite of this group and I will be very surprised if they advance further with a result other than 3 wins. However, the competition for second place can be very even. Slovakia can make a surprise, but they do not have such stars as Robert Lewandowski, so I give Poles more chances.
In my opinion the match between Poland vs Slovakia is a match that will be difficult to predict and as you said if the two teams really have a relatively balanced strength, if indeed you favor Poland because of the Lewandowski factor, of course it is the opposite of what I think Grin , to be honest if I see Slovakia can surprise Poland because I think the Slovakian team has a strong defense under Milan Skriniar and of course Marek Hamsik will be able to make a difference in this match later Grin

As expected, we were really bad against England yesterday. They did not do anything special as well, but were good enough for a comfortable win. Our inability to create any meaningful chances and to put teams under pressure has been present for a while already, we will really have to improve soon if we want to pass the group.
Sterling became the decisive victory for England. The opening match in Group D, I'm glad my guess was almost right by 1 margin for England. It's actually kind of boring to watch them, they play slowly so it's like not interesting Their ball possession is the same.
The result is a good provision for England because they have 3 points and lead the temporary standings. Next they will play Scotland on June 19th, I hope they win again.
On the one hand, it seems to be a well-deserved victory for the England team, on the other hand, the final score with a minimum advantage of one goal allows for a lot of variations, in one of which Croatia could even the score Wink However, there was also a goal post for Sterling and an open shot for Kane. You can certainly hope for a victory over Scotland, but we must take into account that Scotland can have an exorbitant mood for this match, and in one single match anything can happen. All the more so as Scotland again qualified for the European Championship for the first time in 25 years. So England also need to take the match seriously.

That Odds Is Temporary Right? Or It Won't Change Anymore? As I Know Odds Will Change Every Time, Even When The Game Has Started... Cheesy

It looks like the match between Scotland and the Czech Republic will be interesting, both teams have equal strength. On the Scotland side they have Leigh Griffiths, while on the Czech Republic side they have Matej Vydra as a deadly striker...

From what I know when the match has not started the odds may change when many gamblers place bets or when the match is running the odds change based on ball possession and team dominance. Here I favor Scotland, no special analysis just based on my feeling because both teams are equally strong so it's not easy to guess.

These two are more or less one sided matches. Slovakia is not in great form recently and Sweden is simply not the same team without Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The most competitive match will start in 30 minutes from now, in which Czechia will take on Scotland. These two are teams of almost equal strength. And the winner in all probability will be able to qualify to the knockout phase. But a draw during today's match would further complicate the calculations (while making the computation easier for England).

Ukraine is a really good team. They showed this in yesterday's game. I think Ukraine is a team that can beat Austria and Macedonia. They have a high chance of getting out of group C. When I scored badly in the friendlies, I thought it could be a bad team, but it is a team with a very pressured tempo. The team got along well with Shevchenko.
The team is good, but the Netherlands looked much stronger, they kept the Ukrainian national team at their gates, for almost the entire game. I was hoping Ukraine will play more in attacks, but the netherlands is a very strong team and they managed to win. Ukraine is obliged to beat Macedonia, but could they beat Austria?

The Netherlands-Ukraine match yesterday was great. It was a great match to watch. The Netherlands almost finished in a draw. Yarmolenko scored an excellent goal. If Dumfries had not scored in the 85th minute, this match would have been a draw. It was a good start for the oranges.

The Netherlands-Ukraine game was the most exciting game so far in the competition.
It's true that the Netherlands are superior, but Ukraine has always been a team that gives a lot of work to the opponent and with good players.

Goals and emotions at the Johan Cruijff Arena. The Netherlands makes its debut in this European Championship by knocking out Ukraine. But what a struggle for the Oranje, who were brought back from 2-0 down to 2-2 in just four minutes. In the final minutes, however, it was Dumfries' shot that fixed the score at 3-2. For the national team led by Franck de Boer, without de Ligt, the best way to start their journey in group C and respond to Austria's victory over Macedonia.

The got the full 3 points from the match, so there is nothing to worry. But at the same time, Ukraine exposed the chinks in the armor for Netherlands. They need to take care of the vulnerabilities in their defense before they progress to the knockout phase. Also, they have one tough match remaining in the group (against Austria). For Ukraine, the good performance in this match opens up a possibility of advancing in to the knockout stage, if they could manage at least one win from their two remaining group stage matches.
