Very exciting match between Spain and Italy,I couldn't go off the game for mini moment, I think Spain where Dominant in the first half and even the second, but not the type of dominant that requires them to be ahead because Italy was really holding the game down, so well even that they took an early lead in the game.
Now the game changed and Spain needed a goal to draw level with Italy which the substitution morata did, in scoring a professional goal.
I now don't want to predict but enjoy the remaining part of the UEFA euro championship between Spain and Italy, although I want be Spain to be in the final with England.

The game is swinging with momentum all the time. Italy was better until Spain equalized. Then Spain had the upper hand and it looked like Italy is out of the steam and now in the second extra time Italy is looking dangerous again.I don't like Morata very much but I am glad he scored this important goal after all the shit he was trough recently. Yes he was missing lots of chances but that is no reason to threaten him and the family. Those same supporters will now be celebrating him unless he misses the penalty in the shootout

It was better for Spain to score a goal so close to the end. They go into extra time with better mental strength. But now it also depends on which team has the last breath and the last bite to score a goal.
I thought the Italians would defend more after scoring first to frustrate the their rivals but the remained composed and later got rewarded for it.And from the look of things I see Spain with the upper hard as they have attacked more and simply just look like the better team but should this go to penalties...then its anyone's game.

Not able to follow the whole game but seeing a part of it, I felt it will be 0-0 + penalties. Well turned out 1-1 + extra time but I still think it will end with penalty kicks. Which team will face England (probably) in the final?

Italy were attacking a lot but they seem a little wary of the counter attack from Spain now that they have conceded. In the last few minutes of normal time Italy had a chance to attack on the counter but looked like they purposely slowed down time. I think Italy might be playing for the draw now and counting on their technical players in the penalty shoot outs while I think Spain is going to go full throttle and have probably seen that Italy have dropped off and are not going to be afraid of the counter attack so much. Morata has been running the show since he has come on and I would not be surprised if he did manage to get another goal in extra time. I have put a bet on Italy qualifying via penalties though. 1 - 1 I think Spain is in a better mental condition right now.

Spain played their quarter final fixture to the very last kick (penalty), and here again at the semis they are going to extra time, j certainly hope match fitness does not start to play a part against them. Both teams have put up a good performance tonight, with Spain being the better of the two sides; It is now a question of who wants it more.

Extra time it is! It was getting tense there in the last few minutes with Spain dominating the attacking areas. What do you guys think? Will Italy last the 30 minutes required to get to penalties or do you think they have enough to steal a goal on the counter attack while Spain throw themselves at them?

From what I was guessing, the match will be a 1-1 draw in 90 minutes and the match will go on for extra 30 minutes. My guess is correct, now the match is a 1-1 draw. Federico scored for Italy and experienced Morata scored for Spain. It is still impossible to predict which team will reach the final.

If we were judging on defense I would say Italy but at the moment they seem very scrappy and there was definitely a penalty claim for that Italian hand ball in the box. The Italian defender got away with that one. Spain are putting a lot of pressure on and they might just get the goal in extra time but I think Italy after a short break might get their act together and defend for the rest of the match. After the Spanish players conceded the first goal, it seems that they have lost their morale, we do not see any strong attack in the second half from the Spanish players. However, the goalkeepers and defenders of both the teams are performing outstandingly. Both teams are attacking, but not being able to score goals for the defenders.
You can call me a visionary because I just predicted that Spain would score and that they did in style too! Both teams are playing a little nervy at the moment following that goal but Italy is the one that seems to be the more nervy of the two. They need to get through extra time as Spain have their tails up now. I think if Italy can get through extra time then they will win on penalties as I think they have the more technical players. That was a beautiful build up from Spain and Morata was indeed able to convert the opportunity to get Spain on level terms, It was a well deserved goa and it seem the momentum is with them now, the rest of the game should be interesting as well.
I think Italy have just enough to see them through extra time and take the match on penalties. They do not have much attacking threat at the moment while Spain are threatening with every attack. It will be a long 30 minutes ahead for Italy but I think they can do it.

This match between Italy and Spain has been breathtaking. Both teams have shown up and are playing some really open soccer. I think Spain might just get back into this game before the final whistle of normal time goes and this will go into extra time. I think it will then be a nervy match for both sides and ultimately it will go to penalties which Italy will take the win.
Since Italy scored Spain has had some good chances which they haven't capitalized on. The closer this match comes to the end the more nervy I expect Italy to get even though defensively they have been excellent so far.
