If not for that defensive error, I'm sure this game would have ended draw, because the both teams are not too impressive with their playing style, this is a game a lot of persons have expected to be very much intriguing but it's not looking like that, although Spain have been a little bit on the neck of the Italian defence with Nico Williams seriously displaying an incredible dribbling skills upfront for Spain. The Italians seems not to have that individual quality on the attack to help them make the difference, which is one of the major ingredients Spain has as their own advantage in this game. The Italian keeper is one person that has been a life saver for the Italian defence, if not the goals would have been more than one, he has made brilliant saves in this game, it was just unfortunate for him that that defensive error was out of touch from him.

It was definitely not going to be an easy game for Italy as Spain has got in its squad some of the youngest talent football can offer, making such impacts in the teams they are playing with. It almost looks like a game that Italy isn’t going to get nothing out of, Nico Williams almost sealed there fate in the 70+ minutes but, he was denied by a cross bar. I think the same way. Unfortunately, England has a hard time even against low-level teams in national team matches. I'm surprised how they manage to do this. It's funny what Southgate's attacking schemes have done in this Euro.
The England squad in this euro is a very luxurious squad where their players although young but have above-average skills but when the coach is Southgate they are like a bunch of ordinary players without any one special that we can see in the last 2 matches.

Their performance is always monotonous even in this match I feel that Denmark is much better in terms of performance.
There is no acceleration shown by the players, a midfield that loses even though they have 5 midfielders, poor teamwork and players like relying on each other to characterize the English national team at the euro especially for today's match.

I actually expect a lot with their luxurious squad now but with this kind of performance it looks like they will go home early even though for the group phase they will definitely qualify but I will not expect further if their performance is just like this without any significant changes.

Southgate is not taking this job like he wants to achieve something big for the nation England, I can't really say he doesn't know what to do but the players are too much for him to handle, is as if whenever he doesn't play some players he'd be questioned. As for playing players in their wrong position I think he's pushing some players out from their positions to let more to come in, if he has his way of inviting 30 players to the tournament he'd do it just to be the best but still the country is messing up with their poor performance. The man Southgate needs to leave his position since he can't make the team to be as strong as the fans expected.

I won't draw conclusions too quickly for England, I mean England still leads Group C despite drawing 1-1 against Denmark.
England are one of the favorites in Group C and they are even favorites to win the title at Euro 2024. I'm not sure why many of you are doubting England, but today's 1-1 draw won't be the benchmark to say they're completely bad.

England will need to make changes in the next match and may also need to rotate. Bellingham's performance is still good, Foden and Saka are the same, but sometimes a change in strategy needs to be made against certain teams. I will wait for them to play better in the next match, Denmark was good today.
