I didn't expect France to score so many goals. Obviously after the red card the team lost control and turned into a goal scoring machine. France managed to score 7 goals in the first half and repeated this in the second half. Not even allowing the opponent to shoot, France managed to inflict a heavy 14-0 defeat on their opponent. In 7 matches, they scored 27 goals in total and conceded 1 goal, which was obviously an incredible statistic with this match. They reached an average of 4 goals per match after this match. Gibraltar, on the other hand, are currently running towards the record as the team that has conceded 35 goals without scoring in the group.
Gibraltar pattern of football is very unprofessional, because they conceded 3 goals before getting a red card, then France made it 7 goals in the first half. The second half was worse, instead of Gibraltar to tighten their defensive strategy because they're one man down already, they became weak opponent and open important defensive spots for France to invade. Gibraltar national team coach, Julio Cesár Ribas Vlahovic need to be handled a sack letter because there's absolutely no improvement in the team and the players playing like newbies against France. It's a regular knowledge to know that France is unstoppable and on fire in major tournaments.

And yesterday I placed the bet between France and Gibraltar, goals under 6  Angry
The only reason I'm not sad about the lost bet is because the Gibraltar players must have suffered a lot, much more than me, conceding 14 goals in a competition is very difficult, even if it's to the French team
This kind of hugely disproportional match is a problem in soccer, at least in my opinion. It doesn't add anything to either team and I don't think even the fans themselves like to see something like that, it's only good for a potential player to try to be the top scorer in a competition

The only reasonable bet I've found today is for Scotland to win, paying 2.25, maybe I'll try to recover my loss of yesterday
What do you think guys?

I can't even describe the happiness that is right now in Romania after we managed to qualify for this Euro and we are on the 1st place and need only a draw with Swiss in order to maintain this 1st place in Group.

Last night , Romania played his heart out in order to win the game and Iannis Hagi scored the decider goals just like his dad at Euro 86' where he qualified Romania with a decider goals as well. The qualify was so big for this generation that people went outside and fired up some firecrackers because we really don't qualify a lot and we should celebrate this one properly.  Grin

Gibraltar is probably one of the weakest teams in the selection, which has not scored a single goal so far, it was clear that France would win, but France not only won, but rewrote several records. First on the number of total goals 14 (and one more goal Giroud canceled, and so it would have been 15 goals) and in addition France scored 7 goals in the first half, which is also a record for qualifying games. Unfortunately Gibraltar themselves helped France when they were outnumbered against France in the 17th minute. Clearly it was all over at that point and the main question was how many goals France would score.
Even if you are the weakest opponent, you shouldn't concede goals so easily. When I watched the highlights, the goalkeeper didn't even react to the goals. Especially Mbappe's goal after Mbappe's shot from a distance is already telling the detail of the match. It shouldn't have been so simple for France to score a goal. Gibraltar was completely absent in the match and we could easily see that. France had about 40 shots on the Gibraltar goal and managed to convert 1 out of 3 of them into goals. This is really a tremendous detail.  The fact that Gibraltar was reduced to 10 men in the early minutes was just one of the other reasons for this score. From the 18th minute they played with 10 men and everyone predicted that there would be plenty of goals after that. Because France, who managed to score 3 goals in the first 16 minutes, would have the chance to score 2-3 times more after their opponent was down to 10 men.
Even bookmakers didn't believe that Gibraltar would finish so badly, because the odds on the total over 13.5 were 72! Before that France had not scored more than 10 goals and before France 13 goals were scored by Germany in the match against San Marino.

So I also wonder why to let such weak teams to qualify? Maybe it is necessary for the players to improve their statistics? Mbappe made a hat-trick and gave 2 goal assists and it turns out that he scored 5 points in such a match and then they will take his statistics and compare it with Messi's or Ronaldo's goals for their national teams.
On the forbidden sites, I think they were giving exactly 3 odds for 8 goals and I was predicting that the match would be full of goals. As I said, I was actually expecting the match to end with a score like 8-0 or 9-0, but the red card supported the increase in goals in the match in my opinion. In the first half maybe they would have scored 3 goals and they wouldn't have wanted to get more tired but the red card changed everything. Scoring 7 goals in both halves is another luxury. In this kind of matches you expect a lot of goals but you don't expect double digits. 10 or more goals actually means humiliating the opponent a lot, in a sense you don't want to score more because the result doesn't change. Either way, you are the winner, whether it is 1-0 or 14-0. Here, the importance of how many goals the bookmakers are betting on increases.

Of course, the goals played and scored in these matches shouldn't be worth much. If Ronaldo and Messi were compared to Mbappe, the result of such matches would be different. Messi and Ronaldo may have scored or assisted against weaker opponents in their time, but only in this match Mbappe played with 3 goals and 3 assists.

Iceland is really weak now and i think Portugal will complete the group with all wins. They are just better then everyone in this group by a mile. Ronaldo will surely score a goal or more and it is just an insane amount of goals by Portugal and im wondering if there is a record that they can break for the most goals scored in a group for qualification.

Portugal against Iceland is like another baby match for Portugal to celebrate to further increased their point in the group because Portugal is the only team that hasn't lost any match in their group while Iceland has only win 3 match out of the 9 that has been played.

Not in recent 5 matches Portugal has lost any match to Iceland and this matches are not recent. If their previous squad are this weak to Portugal and the current form is finding it difficult to resist temptation from conceding goals, then they are already destined to lose to Portugal and I hope it doesn't end up like how France disengaged Gibraltar with 14 goals yesterday.

I watched the match and I saw how France where brutalizing the weaker team.
But I think there was a decision that the referee took that I disagree with, it has to do with the penalty awarded to France, even after when the referee went to VAR to check if there was any infraction, after seeing that the action was from ball to hand, more like the ball hit the player's hand unintentionally, the referee still went ahead to awarded a penalty, I was really dissatisfied with that decision.

The penalty wouldn't have stop anything anyways because under 16th minute, they were down with 3 goals from the France and they had already lose a player to a red card which further decline their chance of survival in the match. Although some referee make some distasteful decisions that are bad sometimes but they are good in what they do regardless, the only people that complain of referee favouritism is when they don't win the match, those that did don't mind the decision.

Wales lost points in the match with Armenia, just a draw and now their chances of reaching the playoffs are becoming very low, and Croatia beats Latvia and goes into second place. Now all they have to do is beat Armenia at home to keep their place, now again everything depends only on them. Under favorable conditions, if Wales can beat Turkey, Croatia could even come out on top, but I doubt Turkey will lose this match.

Armenia is a tough nut to crack, but I still expected more from Wales, who showed an excellent game against Croatia at home, although it must be admitted that Croatia has been playing quite poorly lately, which is largely due to the absence of some important players. Although Croatia defeated the nominally weakest opponent in the group last night, the game they showed is far from what we have seen before and they will have to play much better against Armenia if they want to go directly to the European Championship.

Maybe Croatia's bad games has something to do with the fact that they know that even third place in the group does not mean the end, but additional qualifications in March next year. In any case, it will be interesting in a few days against Armenia, and everything could be further complicated by the bad weather, because rain and relatively low temperatures are forecast.

Not only loss points but also Wales have loss their second standings position after dropping by Croatia won last match against Latvia, seems small chance for Wales to finish on second standings place regarding their chance depend on other match if Croatia loss their points on the last match against Armenia, Wales must take three points against Turkey.

I think almost close with Wales qualify to UEFA Euro 2024 because they are remaining two points left from Croatia and the last match have to face Turkey as favorite teams success lead top standings in Group D. Regarding Wales success beat Turkey seems Croatia only need one point is enough to get one spot in UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany, they have 13 points and Wales with 11 points looks small chance will play in UEFA Euro 2024 because last match Croatia will play on their home.

The game between France and Gibraltar ended with a 14:0 win as Kylian Mbappe once again scored a hatrick for his country including a 40 yards stunning strike from the captain of the French team. It is France biggest win in history of football and was very entertaining to the home fans in the stadium as they watched their beloved team dominate the game from the opening minutes of the game till the final whistle.
On paper, Gibraltar is not a balanced opponent for France, especially the red card received by Gibraltar in the 18th minute makes the difference even greater because France has more freedom in Gibraltar's defense zone, who is only trying to play defensively, there are no opportunities at all that the Gibraltar players have managed to create, and the red card was the only card issued by the referee in the match.
When facing tough matches, Mbappe is always impressive, especially in these one-sided matches, and he can always be relied on by his team, and with his number of goals for the French national team, Mbappe will probably replace Giroud and Henry in the list of top scorers for the French national team, and he will be able to create many new records because he is quite consistent in his appearance.

Portugal had scored a total of 34 goals in Group J and they look set to complete the group with a magnificent 10 wins streak. Iceland are going to play this upcoming match away from home and it seems the chances for Iceland to stop Portugal from getting their 10th wins in Group J are extremely slim.

Of course, currently the highest number of goals scored in the Euro 2024 qualifiers is still Cristiano Ronaldo's team and his friends, namely Portugal and indeed currently Portugal has scored 34 goals, but I also see that the second place is currently still held by France, but we don't will know what will happen in the future because sometimes in the world of football it is always full of surprises but according to my predictions Portugal will lead in the record for most goals in the Euro 2024 qualifiers.

However, I also predict that for Iceland's next match against Portugal, I think Portugal will have the potential to win because if you look at the current standings, of course Portugal is superior to Iceland. and I can't wait to see the match.
Timnas Portugal ended the Euro 2024 Qualification by entertaining Iceland at Estadio Jose Alvelade, Lisbon, on Monday (11/20/2023) . Portugal, which always wins in Group J, certainly wants to end the qualification phase perfectly.  Of the nine matchdays that have been played, Portugal wiped out all the body with victory. That made Portugal certain to qualify for the Euro 2024 finals with an impressive record. does not mean Iceland can be underestimated by Portugal. Although it is certain that it cannot qualify for Euro 2024 through the qualification track because it is only in fourth place after passing nine laga, Iceland could have stained for Portugal's perfect trip in this Euro 2024 Qualification.

Yes, I think it's true that Iceland certainly can't be underestimated because I'm sure Iceland will definitely give their best performance and usually sometimes the match situation is very difficult to predict, and I also remember when Portugal played Iceland in June and the match was won at that time. by Portugal but at that time it only resulted in 1-0 and Cristiano Ronaldo scored a goal. So, Iceland is certainly not a team that can be taken lightly and could disrupt Portugal's journey.

But I think Portugal will definitely want to perfect their victory in Group J, so I think there will definitely be a fierce battle in the next match. and I predict that Cristiano Ronaldo will score a beautiful goal.

Gibraltar is a weak team playing vs one of the best teams in EURO and in the world, so it is normal to see such huge amount of goals scored in that match especially when they were playing with 10 players. About the red card, I don't think that it was responsible for many goals alone since Gibraltar already received 3 goals before the 18th minute when they were down by one player..
The defence line of Gibraltar was miserable, they failed to clear the ball in many occasions and was responsible for many goals especially the first and second goals directly.. These mistakes should not happen even in the second leagues..
Actually, I think it's unnecessary for national teams to play matches like this. That's why we have the Nations League and the tournament here is divided into groups and segments. It has to be like this so that equal teams can play against each other, otherwise, when we watch one-sided matches, there is no excitement in the match. We thought that France would score 7-8 goals in any case and that's what happened. Whether it was a red card or not, that many goals was to be expected. The only thing that shifted the course of the match a little bit more towards Gibraltar was that they played a man down.

France won 14 goals without a single goal in return coming from Gibraltar. France recorded 7 wins from 7 matches. In the closing qualifying match in Group B, France will play against Greece, which has no chance of qualifying from Group B because the Netherlands after getting a narrow win over Ireland and the Netherlands will have an easy match against Gibraltar.

When I saw the result, I thought that Mbappe probably scored 10 goals, but in fact he only scored a hat-trick, Giroud and Coman scored a double. Mbappe is now just one goal behind Ronaldo and Lukaku in the top scorers race. Today Belgium will play with Azerbaijan and Portugal with Iceland, these are more serious rivals than Gibraltar but also a good opportunity to improve their statistics.

One of the most interesting matches of the day will be between Liechtenstein and Luxembourg. Luxembourg have developed well in football in recent years. They beat Bosnia and Herzegovina 4-1 in their last match in the group. They have 14 points in this group. And they are in 3rd place. Also, they have achieved a very important success in this tournament by beating Iceland and Bosnia and Herzegovina in the group standings. We have to congratulate them. On the other hand, Liechtenstein are the weakest team in this group. They are last in this group with zero points. And they have scored only 1 goal in 9 matches. I think Luxembourg will be the favorite in this match.

Yesterday France really Crush Gibraltar,  France showed no pity for their poor rival. It was obvious that it would be an easy match for France, but I never imagined that. France scored 7 goals in the first half and 7 goals in the second half for a total of 14 goals. And this is the most lopsided win ever in the history of European Championship qualification, previous record was Germany-San Marino matches 13:0 from 2006.

There is a huge difference in quality between Gibraltar and France football players. It is very natural to have this score in the match. I don't think the red card has any effect on the score. This score could have been achieved even if the teams had played 11 against 11.

What I want to criticize is that I do not find it right that so many goals are scored against the opposing country in a national team match. There is a huge difference between the two teams and it is not right to show this difference as a score. In football, the strengths of two teams may not always be close, but respect for the opponent is something that should be on the field, regardless of the team names.

France shows no pity for their weak rival. They scored only 3 goals against Gibraltar in the previous match. This time they scored 7 goals in the first half. We were thinking that maybe they would put the game on hold and slow down in the second half, but they continue the same way. They throw punch after punch as if there was an enemy they hated. At the 85th minute, the score was 12-0. Will it be 14 before the final whistle? I think the referee will not give extra time in such a match. He ends the match in the 90th minute. It was a very sad night for Gibraltar.

Since it was played in France, the French national team continued to score goals without a break. Gibraltar was already praying not to experience a nightmare in the match, but after the red card they completely lost control of the game. The poor performance of the goalkeepers was also effective in this. He couldn't even catch the balls coming towards him. The nightmare ended with 14 goals.
