While there are 3 days to go for Turkey to face Wales they played a friendly against Germany today. First I thought that we would lose badly to Germany after seeing them scoring in the 5th minute already. But we really fought hard to make a comeback and even win the match by 3-2. I really like the spirit among the players since Vincenzo Montella took over.

We have already guaranteed our Euro 2024 ticket maybe but I still wait for us to play decently against Wales in the last match. But if important players for us such as Hakan Çalhanoğlu and Cengiz Ünder won't be in the squad then we would have bigger issues.

I watched the match and I saw how France where brutalizing the weaker team.
But I think there was a decision that the referee took that I disagree with, it has to do with the penalty awarded to France, even after when the referee went to VAR to check if there was any infraction, after seeing that the action was from ball to hand, more like the ball hit the player's hand unintentionally, the referee still went ahead to awarded a penalty, I was really dissatisfied with that decision.

Iceland is really weak now and i think Portugal will complete the group with all wins. They are just better then everyone in this group by a mile. Ronaldo is still going great lately, I would say he is having a marvelous season for someone at his age, doesn't matter if the opponents he scored against are Saudi clubs or Liechtenstein, that doesn't really change the fact that majority of footballers are retired by his age, and he is still scoring goals for his country and club, that's a big deal.

Obviously nobody expects him to play like he did 10 years ago, that would be weird to expect to be fair, his years at Real Madrid made him one of the greatest players ever, and to expect him to play like that would be weird. I believe that for what they are doing, they are definitely doing quite well and should be considering that as a normal situation over long term.

Whales squandered their chances today against Armenia with an unprofessional effort. Although I expect the match to be difficult because Armenia beat them in the first leg away from home, it is now that the Whales have all the chances they need to qualify but they failed; they are currently third in the group with 11 points; the only chance they have is if they can beat Turkey and if Armenia can help them beat Croatia, they will have a one point advantage over Croatia.

The Whales truly miss some of its senior players, such as Garade Bale and Aron Ramsey, and they now lack a quality squad to compete with big teams.

The draw of Wales in today's match is quite regrettable because they actually benefited greatly if they managed to get 3 points in this match but when something like this happens then indirectly they have to prepare for the worst possibility because in the last match apart from those who really have to be able to get 3 points against Turkey who are now the group winners, they also have to expect Croatia to lose in the last match that is done.

I don't remember exactly what the odds were, but in the first game between France and Gilbraltar, I bet on goals under 4.5 and won the bet

I don't know if the Gibraltar team will give everything they have like the first game where everyone was excited, given that they've been disqualified and are in last place. But Gilbraltar haven't conceded 6 goals or more since 2021 (Netherlands won 6-0).
