I don't think anyone expected such a result in Croatia's match against Turkey. After all, the Croats seemed to be the favorites, they played at a new stadium, at home, the balance of goals scored and conceded was excellent, the largest in the group + 7 and such a sudden defeat. I would not say that Croatia is in no danger, they still have to play away in Wales, and usually at home Wales plays 100% and if they beat Croatia, they will be equal to Croatia on points.

Calhanoglu is a great player and he maybe had a bad night yesterday personally but what is important is that Turkey got the win and the score could have been bigger.I am sorry as I lost a big parlay from Turkey yesterday night as I got everything right,Norway,Spain,Poland,Kosovo and Albania all of them winning and I was not 100% convinced for Croatia but when I saw Croatia stats that they were great before the start of the game and that they were playing on home soil I decide to add them to my parlay which lost a really good parlay for me.Nevertheless I will make sure to win tonight.

It was a mystery when it comes to how Turkey would play against Croatia last night. Croatia were favoured highly for the win as Turkey were on the decline in performance. However we watched a completely different team there. There was a big difference between Turkey in the Armenia match and here.

The night of yesterday was with quite some surprise results with Albania leading it after a 3-0 win against Czech Republic and this is not a surprise considering the red hot form of Albania at the moment and that of the attackers with Jasani scoring another goalazzo yesterday but the surprise is how Czech to concede 3 goals in a game when they had conceded just 2 in all other games that they played so far.Maybe the red card impacted the game and the result should have been a lot higher than that considering how many wasted chances there were there.Albania for the second time in Euro cup as I believe they will absolutely win their last game at home against Faroe Island and they just need 1 point to qualify considering that other opponents will play each other.

Well.. they are still behind Scotland as far as points table is concerned (BTW, I am not forgetting the fact that Spain has played one match fewer than Scotland). They were 0-0 at half-time, so I had some hope for Scotland. But they went overly defensive and in the end it cost them the match. Had they played their natural game, then the outcome would have been better for them. When someone focus solely on defense, it gives the advantage to the other team. They can focus on attacking. And this is what happened yesterday.

Damn.. lost some money yesterday after placing bets in favor of Scotland. They ended up losing by 0-2 to Spain. Anyway, it was a risk worth taking. Anyway, as far as I know, finishing first or second will have no impact on Euro 2024, so just participating in the tournament is enough.

What surprised me most today is such easy Albania win against Czech Republic - 3:0. It doesn't just improves Albania chances to reach EURO, but also it's big favour for Poland in fight for 2nd place in group.

It's common thing that after change of manager team start to play better at least in short term. It doesn't always brings good result in long term, but in first 1-2 games after change of manager, team usually plays better. For me it looked a bit strange that Croatia was favoured so much before the game, but still, Turkey win is surprise.
Latvia win against Armenia can't be called as upset, though, I'm a bit surprised that Latvia managed to score second goal with 1 men down. This loss makes Armenia chances in fight for 2nd place very complicated.

I am quite happy that we won, there was a lot of question marks about this game because Croatia is a great team as we all know and we just sacked our manager so it was the very first game of our new manager Montella and he didn't spend even a week with the team I think, so it was impossible for him to plan anything with the team, as he was a coach in Turkiye before this position, he knew some of the players and that helped him I am sure, but it was still a quick time period and it was a hard one. I am glad that we won, the players played with some passion and wanted to win, which was something we haven't seen in a while, it was refreshing to see them fight so hard. We are almost nearly guaranteed to go up, next games seems easy enough, and we are up enough points to be even the leader of the group.

I wasn't expecting Turkey to victory. Croatia lost 1-0 to Turkey at home. Barış Alper Yılmaz scored Turkey's goal. I haven't watched Croatia perform this badly in a long time. They couldn't become very effective during the whole game.

If Turkey keep to perform this much impressive, they can finish the group as the leader too. In the other match of the group, Latvia beat Armenia.

That Scotland goal that was dissallowed was really fishy i think if they scored they would have won the game. Really unlucky match in the end for them they were so close to winning again against Spain and lost all of the points in the end from the match. For the first time in many years, Scotland looks like the real deal and a team to beat any European competition. Though they lost tonight's game against Spain and final scoreline of a football game is the biggest statistics, one can authoritatively say that Scotland real gave Spain a good fight in that game.
Despite the loss tonight, Scotland is still at the top of the Group A table with 15 points ahead of Spain who has gotten 12 points from five games. Scotland I think are very likely to qualify to the finals of the nexts year's edition of the UEFA Euro competition.

He left the goal too early and Barış Alper managed to score with a beautiful shot. It is an enjoyable match for him. I didn't think we would play this well in the Croatia match. The best player for Croatia is Gvardiol. He showed once again that he is an important defender by blocking many positions. I hope to watch a more enjoyable match in the second half.

I didn't have much hope in the Croatia match either, maybe due to the losses in the past and the change of coach at the moment, the Turkish national team played a really disciplined and quality game and now the match is over and we didn't make any mistakes after the goal scored by Barış Alper. It was a good night.

Even though Croatia was in control throughout the match, we managed to achieve the result with a single goal. It was an important victory. Croatia is the toughest opponent in the group.
