No big surprises yesterday. Iceland is one of the teams that is renowned for making upsets, but they ran out of steam yesterday. After the two goals from Rade Krunić during first half, there wasn't much resistance from the Icelanders. In Group J, Portugal and Bosnia and Herzegovina have the maximum chances of qualifying to the next stage and initial victories will cement their position. Cristiano Ronaldo also scored yesterday, although it came from a penalty kick. Group H matches gave expected outcome, with Slovenia being able to defeat Kazakhstan and Danmark destroying Finland.
The most important match was between England and Italy and I was expecting Italy to win. But once again I was proved wrong w.r.t England and they won the match with relative ease. Italy couldn't do much despite the home advantage (the match was held at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona in Naples).
Portugal and Bosnia are the main favorites to pass the group. For Portugal this will probobly be the easiest group ever for them to pass. I honestly expected more from Iceland and Slovakia. Slovakia cannot beat Luxembourg so i dont think they have any chances to pass the group if you cannot beat such weak teams.
Iceland, however, has been playing very poorly lately, it seems they have already passed their peak.
