Spain against France will be another repeat of what happened between Spain and Germany in the Quarter Finals of this very campaign. The France national team is about to face one of the greatest test of their stay in this competition and we know how Spain gets the ball so wide when they're going for a counter without a single player not getting in the mix, it will be hard for the France side to get their marking too close to the wingers and midfielders of Spain from how I have seen them (France) play, it will make Kante to be more stressed out that's if they let him do more of the marking tomorrow.
The France national team need to make use of the pitch not playing a one sided game if not they'll pay for it, Mbappe shouldn't be the only target and Dembele shouldn't waste more chances in this encounter and if that happens the Spanish players will capitalize on them and it will be more dangerous if Spain takes the lead but one thing is sure, a draw can happen if the France side keep it calm, IMO France they can't beat Spain even if it goes on to extra time.
Yes, this particular encounter is really going to be fascinating no doubt, but I don't actually think that it would be as fascinating as the Spain vs Germany encounter, because France is not as attacking as Germany and Spain, so I don't think France will go all out and attack the Spanish team the way Germany did, I expect Spain to see more of the ball and France playing on the counter attacks, and I also believe that if they plays that way, the game would be more difficult for the Spanish team than what they encounter against the German.
Am saying so because the France team are filled with markers of the ball, they all knows how to react when they are not with the ball, though they are not as exciting and impressive as the Spanish team, but I believe that as it stands now, among the three teams remaining, they are the only genuine threat to the Spanish team in their quest to lift this year uefa euros, but I believe that it's actually going to be a close contested affair, let's just watch and see how it's going to plays out when the time comes.
From what I have seen with the Spanish team I believe they like absolving the pressure of their opponent until they find that opening to cause more damage and it always work for them but talking about the France side I believe they are going to be very careful while they throw in attacks against Spain in other not to make their defense exposed to the deadly wingers, talking about Nico Williams and Yamal L, those two have been the threat of their previous opponents, making life difficult for them.
The Spanish players are just complete in every angle and they match every team that have come their way so I don't think there is an easy way to over shadow them, while France are trying to penetrate it even get worse for them, the best France need to do is get an early goal to add pressure on the Spanish players, it will help them relax a bit, and I think the bookie is correct in giving France the higher odd maybe by tomorrow something might change, for now Spain is the favorite to win this encounter and the Euros as well.
