Spain against France will be another repeat of what happened between Spain and Germany in the Quarter Finals of this very campaign. The France national team is about to face one of the greatest test of their stay in this competition and we know how Spain gets the ball so wide when they're going for a counter without a single player not getting in the mix, it will be hard for the France side to get their marking too close to the wingers and midfielders of Spain from how I have seen them (France) play, it will make Kante to be more stressed out that's if they let him do more of the marking tomorrow.
The France national team need to make use of the pitch not playing a one sided game if not they'll pay for it, Mbappe shouldn't be the only target and Dembele shouldn't waste more chances in this encounter and if that happens the Spanish players will capitalize on them and it will be more dangerous if Spain takes the lead but one thing is sure, a draw can happen if the France side keep it calm, IMO France they can't beat Spain even if it goes on to extra time.
The thing is that France game is a lot easier to predict especially when there is absolutely poor creativity in their midfield, if France is to allow or call any player to change their gameplay then I think it would be Paul Pogba and even mbappe himself confesses this because with Pogba at the heart of that midfield mbappe can be easily feed with some killer pass just like the way TONY KROSS does it but due to the ban on Pogba he will have to stay a lot longer to enjoy the good game again.
France has been really poor and I think they don't have any excuse to cover their performance, am just still suprised at how they are at this position now and I won't be surprised again if they would actually pull out another miracle against this spain team because Spain is clearly way better than France and with the current stats would be clear favorite's to win this game and even the competition at large.

I think Spain will beat France... By the way bookmakers give equally high odds for a win for one of the teams or a draw, now it's about 3.0... But in previous play-off matches the game often went into extra time, so it can happen here too... But I'll probably take my chances and bet on Spain's win...
I think Spain 🇪🇸 team are the favourites to win this year EURO 24 edition.  There performance have been outstanding, de la fuente(Spain coach) has done a great job with this team . A team mixed with young talents( yamal, Williams Jr, pedri, Dani olmo) and experienced talents(Rodri, cavarjal, laporte, cucurella, alvaro morata and fabian ruiz). This guys performance have been mind blowing, So far the best player and the young best player on this tournament is in the Spain side.

France performance haven't met fans expectations, compared to their performance during the last World Cup. They have continously struggled  to win matches. Few players have been performing good e.g kante, saliba and tchuameni. Kylian Mbape being their key man have been struggling to put out good performance to his name, France are really lacking a play maker and someone who can control the midfield and give finishing passes for goals.

It will be a tight game since both countries are top European teams and with good players in  both teams. But Spain will go into this game with a higher percentage to win France.

The bookie makes Spain and England the favorite teams to qualify for the final round with odds given at 1.77 for Spain and 1.75 for England who will play the Netherlands. *note: the odds are sourced from rollbit.com

As we all know, the semifinal match is a fierce match where it is difficult to predict the result. But this is the most challenging round for gamblers to find analysis before deciding to place a bet.
Spain's game is good compared to France, but a surprise from France could ruin Spain's good game.
It's the same with England, even though they are not very sure about their game, England has the potential to beat the Netherlands.
These are not such big odds, so I won’t be surprised if the final is France - the Netherlands) Honestly, this is a semi-final for me and the outcome of the final is completely unpredictable, which is why if I preferred to bet, I would do it on the underdogs, which I have more coefficient, and in our case these are France and the Netherlands. Today I didn’t think that I would do this, but after your message I wanted to do it, albeit with a small amount, but I want to test my theory with my own money.

The Dutch national team has managed to score goals well so far, unlike England, which seems to be holding out for post-match penalties, I hope the Netherlands will not allow this to happen.

Anyways, in the end rules are rules right? No matter how much we discuss it is the final decision.  Grin
I don't think any discussion related to this topic wants to change the decision, but to question whether the decision is correct or not. By that logic, we won't be able to have any meaningful discussion and criticism towards the referee or the organizer in general, granted there's a low chance they will change just because a bunch of forum posters/social media accounts mock them for their terrible decisions, especially for an even as big as the Euro. It would be a shame if the referee's performance is as questionable as the PL or La Liga.

Xavi simons didn't deserved red for that foul. It's clear if it's unintentional from Xavi Simons. Turkish's defender's leg was also in an unnatural position. Again, Simon was contesting the ball, not doing a serious foul on him. It didn't show excessive force and brutality to his opponent's safety. So, Simon didn't deserve a red card for that foul, and the referee was quite fair in that game.

It's just unfortunate enough when simon's foot came down on the defender's leg.

I respect your opinion but I think it is very debatable. I think it shouldn't matter it is intentional or not normally. Because the defender could have got injured seriously. I don't believe the defender's leg was in an unusual position either. Because he just wanted to cut the ball there but this happened. There are many examples in which players with this kind of a challenge getting a red card.  Smiley

I would think the same if it happened to Xavi Simons as well by the way. I'm not choosing sides here. Anyways, in the end rules are rules right? No matter how much we discuss it is the final decision.  Grin

And not only that causes bookies to make betting numbers like that, but most people are also starting to be tempted and really like Spain's performance that has been seen in the Euro this time so it makes sense to choose and bet on Spain because I also think that Spain will enter the final and could even potentially win Euro 2024 this time. However, because their opponent in the semifinals is France, of course there is a possibility that their match could experience extra time which predictably could also be more difficult.
This is a semi-final match which will definitely be quite fierce, Spain and France have almost the same percentage of getting through, although if we look at it as a whole, Spain looks like it will be able to advance to the final, that is the prediction of many people.
But back to percentages, the bookie gives odds that are not much different for the two, which is only natural.

Since the group stage we can see the performance of both teams, and I see that France is not that impressive, they seem lucky to be able to get to the semifinals, just look at France's goal productivity, it is very minimal.
Meanwhile, Spain played quite well throughout the Euro matches they played, so if there are no big surprises, I also think they will be able to advance to the final round.
I will also bet on Spain in the next match.

There is no doubt that both France and Spain are strong teams. However, considering the overall performance of both teams in this year's Euro, I think Spain is the favorite. Spain's match strategy is good. Young players are very confident. And for these two reasons, I want Spain to advance.

There is no shortage of talented and star players in France's squad. However, France's overall gameplay is a bit slow. The squad includes strikers like Mbappe, Kolo Muani, Griezmann, Dembele, Giroud and Thuram. Each is very talented. However, the France team scored only 3 goals in 5 matches of this year's Euro. I want Spain team ahead in this match because of the weakness of the attacking players and the match strategy is a bit slow.

Of a truth France hasn't really been that convincing since the start of this competition. They have been solid at the back that's why they haven't conceeded much goals. It's very unfortunate that Mbappe is not at his best form for France in this competition. But for me I think Spain should advance to the finals. They have been the most hardworking team so far and they deserve a shot in the finals. I'm not expecting anything less from Spain when the meet France, I expect them to play the same way they have been playing so far. They have good goal scorers and if they can utilize their opportunities as it comes along they will win. The French defense will give them problem, because they will be aiming for the game to go into penalty shootout if they can't score goals up front because their strikers are not performing well. They would want to take their chance in a penalty shootout.
I would not concentrate on Mbappe for the French national team, because all the other players are no less important and play quite well. Moreover, he is no longer a very good assistant to his team because his injuries hinder him, and no matter how technical and excellent a player he is, this will not allow him to jump above his capabilities. In addition, the French team is much higher than the Spaniards, and in the battle on the second floor the French will be the winners, which means that on corners there is a high chance of the Spaniards missing a goal. In any case, I don’t want to guess who will be the winner in this match, but I hope the game will be with a large number of goals and everything will be decided in regular time and without penalties.

If France were poor, but they got this far in the Euro Cup, it's amazing. Surprisingly, they did not have a great performance, yet they entered the semi-finals by beating Portugal. However, semi-final matches are more exciting and interestingly, they definitely require performances. And with Spain, France will try hard but may not be successful and may not be able to enter the final. Spain team is very hardworking and strong, so they will definitely work hard to beat France in the semi-final match and qualify for the final.
In the quarterfinals  Portugal looked better, but France also showed not the worst game and if they were able to get to the semifinals, then there is a matter not only of luck. But if you evaluate how Spain plays, I will give my preference to them, even though in the match with Germany they were also lucky that the referee did not appoint a penalty after the game with his hand, although it is obvious that the hand was not pressed to the body, and the ball flew into the gate.
Spain victory over Germany was not a luck because they deserved it. Spain was able to score twice before Germany even when Germany was able to out themselves back in the game, Spain didn't give up. It was unfortunate for the Germans that they were unable to defend the extra time till the end maybe penalty would have given them a chance of qualifying to the semifinals.

Spain is better than France in this competition and that is what will determine who will win the match. It will be very easy for Spain to find the back of the net but France are always finding it difficult to find the back of the net. The finals will be Spain and whoever wins between England and Netherlands.

It surprises me to see teams with worse attackers, like England and France, able to make the semis. I never saw entertaining games from france and england. It was very weird to see germany left from euro 2024 earlier than what i expected in the past.

That's really unpredictable about france reached semi final without even an open play goal. It's kinda crazy you know. France and England have the worst attackers. But, their defenders saved them from leaving the competition early.

And, this is hwo germany is now watching clubs with worst attackers qualified for semis.

This is a normal thing in football, where a team that is not considered better can actually go further. Luck is one of the factors that can make a team ultimately win and in my opinion this cannot be separated from luck either. On the other hand, I saw that at this year's Euro, several countries were unable to play interesting games, instead teams with mediocre status were able to play more entertaining games. Germany had to accept the fact that they had to lose to Spain in the quarter-finals with a narrow score of 2-1, it was a very dramatic match for them because they had to lose in the final minutes.
Now we are in the semifinals and there are 4 other teams left, Spain, England, France and the Netherlands. Quite skeptical whether they will show a more interesting game in this semifinal round or will they be the same as before which in my opinion was less interesting in the game.

In the Euro tournaments we see the quarter final matches becoming much more competitive. Most of the quarter-final matches lasted up to 120 minutes, but if no team could win after 120 minutes, the result was decided by penalty kicks. We saw the same thing in last night's match between Switzerland and England although Switzerland got ahead of England early on but England got back to level again towards the end of the match. England and Switzerland battled each other hard for 120 minutes but if the result was a draw, the two teams later went to penalties where England won by a big margin. The quarter final phase is over now only the semi finals are waiting, expect a tough competition there too and two qualified teams will qualify for the finals.

In the match between Spain and Germany, of course we can see the fierce competition between them and of course it is a matter of pride for Spain to be able to beat Germany. So it is certain that in the match between Spain and France in the semifinals, it is true that Spain against France will have the potential for tight competition and there will be a repeat of the tight competition as in the match between Spain and Germany.

However, it is true that it looks like France will face a big test because it is true that Spain has extraordinary strength and of course France will have the potential to find it difficult to win against Spain in the next match. but of course we won't know what happened, but what is clear is that the potential for victory is on the Spanish side.

but sometimes the results of matches are always difficult to predict, but I'm sure Deschamps will use a good strategy, but it looks like there is potential in that match there will be a penalty shootout, but I'm sure the potential is slim because if you look at the current Spanish squad, of course there is no doubt that Spain has potential. big win. but I predict 2-0 for Spain to win.

Yes, I fully agree and I would also say that whoever wins this match will most likely also go on to win a probable final considering the fact that on the other side of the scoreboard there aren't these great teams that can compete in a possible final, I would definitely see one beautiful final France Holland very exotic I would say and very full of spectacle, France will certainly prepare it very well and on paper they are much stronger than Spain so it remains to be seen while on the other side I don't think England will get through

Yes, this particular encounter is really going to be fascinating no doubt, but I don't actually think that it would be as fascinating as the Spain vs Germany encounter, because France is not as attacking as Germany and Spain, so I don't think France will go all out and attack the Spanish team the way Germany did, I expect Spain to see more of the ball and France playing on the counter attacks, and I also believe that if they plays that way, the game would be more difficult for the Spanish team than what they encounter against the German.

Am saying so because the France team are filled with markers of the ball, they all knows how to react when they are not with the ball, though they are not as exciting and impressive as the Spanish team, but I believe that as it stands now, among the three teams remaining, they are the only genuine threat to the Spanish team in their quest to lift this year uefa euros, but I believe that it's actually going to be a close contested affair, let's just watch and see how it's going to plays out when the time comes.

If you look at how Spain and France played in their last match, It doesn't seem too difficult to guess who will have more control of the game in the semifinals. As we know, France was quite overwhelmed when facing Portugal and I think they were lucky enough to be able to force the match to a penalty shootout. If only Portugal could maximize every opportunity they had, then France could have lost that match.

You are right but what we should also consider is that this season Euro is nothing compared to other seasons because if you watch this league matches you will see that all there performances are not that good, though I no that Spain performance on the previous seasons was quite good but we cannot be sure of that performance this season and besides in terms of performance France has shown more force than Spain but we cannot also be certain of there success on that match.

However one of the things we should also consider is the players involved on that match, though the both sides has a good players but we cannot dispute the fact that France has a lot of good players but however if Spain managed to win the match that means the trophy belongs to them because I have not seen any club that would challenge them in terms of performance.
