Not going too be possible with the special one! And he did bring in some defending player's to hold down the game, kudos to Chris Smalling and Henhrikh Mhkitaryan they have both won with Jose again.
They (Feyenoord ) had a game plan but wasn't too deadly against the Italians defense. The only good chance gotten was saved or strucked by the wood work.

Exactly, if it was negative or outdated football, then he wont get him where he is today. He has been outstanding for the years. There is a reason he is called the special one. He keep doing special things in a special way. Jose Mourinho doesn’t go to finals to play them. He goes there to win it. That is what differentiate him from these other Managers. Won with Porto, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Manchester United, and now AS Roma. The only club he didn’t win at was Spurs because they sacked him days before the finals. A very big congratulations to AS Roma and Mourinho for this great achievement.

I've never watched this competition, but I was very surprised by the results from Mourinho and AS Roma. For Mourinho, this is a big success, even failed in Serie-A, because this is his first season at AS Roma and has succeeded in giving trophies even though it is not the main trophy being targeted by AS Roma. It is true! Mourinho was never a coach who puts his team to spectacular football, but practical football. And it is an exaggeration to say that he only defended the result. In the first half, before and after scoring the goal, Roma continued to press hard and could have scored another goal. I would say a little differently that Feyenoord simply had to play better than Roma in the second half in order to at least equalize the score in the match Wink

The "The special one" has once again justify why he is one of the best manager in the world, another record was broken by Mourinho in yesterday's win over Feyenord by winning all the major European trophies a feat no other manager has achieve and kudos to Mourinho for helping Roma to win a trophy since 14 years ago, credit also goes to the duo of defender Smalling and their goalkeeper Rui Patricio for some brilliant saves that denied Feyenord opportunity of equalizing in the second half, if you allow a Mourinho tutored side to score first obviously he will play defensively to deny his opponent any scoring chances.

Congratulation to Roma for the beautiful victory they achieved from Feyenoord because many people thought the game will end up for the favour of Feyenoord until Roma players apply their new strategy to defeated Feyenoord 1-0 for the favour of Roma.
