Sevilla don't need anybody to believe in them. They only need to believe in themselves and get supports from their loyal fans. It's enough for them to fight and win over Manchester United and take a seventh Europa League trophy for their club. That would be amazing but even with six titles so far, they are already a legend in Europa League.

Latest form fluctuation in Manchester United after they lost their excellent streak is good for them. Because they will not be over confident about themselves and will have more focus on matches with Sevilla. That can help them to have better preparation as well as more carefully play against Sevilla. I am sure that with Sevilla, if you under estimate them and play carelessly, they are strong enough to punish you and send you back to your home.

But couldn't that turn out to be Sevilla's biggest advantage? The fact that really nobody believes in them? They have nothing to lose as nobody thinks they have nothing to win. This can be the perfect position for them. There is extra motivation to show the world they have all been wrong. This sounds like some war cry or unfounded motivational speech, but ultimately it does give players extra motivation.

Ten Haag doesn't make the impression as if he were to underestimate Sevilla, but how certain situations can enfold could be seen against Liverpool. Those are the stories that soccer can write. Juventus and Sporting are going to have a quite challenging matchup against each other. Sporting are a pretty dangerous team to beat for Juventus now because of eliminating Arsenal.

Arsenal were really looking like it was too difficult to eliminate them. Sporting weren't one of the teams I was expecting to see doing this. Juventus are also in need of winning the Europa League title on the other hand. Because their finishing the season in top four in the Serie A isn't a big probability now. They should be doing their best here to go till the finale first. I think they can beat Sporting in the first leg as well to capture an important advantage.

I'm not surprised that Juventus will lose the match against Sporting because in terms of their quality in the domestic league the two are quite different. Even seeing Sporting beat Arsenal already indicates that they are a team to be reckoned with by their opponents.
but the pace in the Europa league this season for Juventus they didn't show anything extraordinary as a big team in Serie A. their game was very boring even when they faced Freiburg in the second leg they had to struggle to come out victorious even though the final result was 0-2 but the effort they were relatively bad in that game.

But I will not view Juventus as a weak team when dealing with Sporting in the first leg because Juventus has the advantage of being the host in the first leg which is likely to be used as best as possible to win.

Having recent bad form for juventus in the last 2 match makes most people doubting them to shine in europa league but hey it's againt two big teams consecutively. 1 draw to inter and 1 lost to lazio that's indeed dorsnt mean they will fail as well against sporting cp this thursday.

The bookies still favorited juventus to win though.

Is it really that people are wrong not to look well at Juventus? The numbers speak for themselves:

in the last 4 games that juventus played in all competitions, they only scored 1 goal in each game, and in 3 games there were 2 games against inter who are not well and another game was against verona who are also not well, that is even juventus playing against weak teams did not manage to score many goals, but they always had the advantage of having a good defense, something that did not work against lazio and sporting and a little like lazio and sporting has managed to score many goals, just see that Sporting beat Arsenal

on paper, sportingo is a much better team than juventus, i believe that buying sportingo with juventus is the same as comparing a mouse with a cat, sportingo and the cat and juventus a mouse, juventus do not play well and have become in a team worthy of pity, with this current coach, juventus only plays to survive, they no longer play to win titles, they got far in the europa league because they have been very lucky, we'll see if that luck will be with them in the game against sporting

the strange formation that the juventus coach has adopted, the strange style of play, are things that made me stop watching juventus games, even if i am a fan of juventus i avoid betting on juventus a lot, i dont see juventus playing well , I don't know if they really intend to achieve something in the next season

I wonder about people, why do they doubt Juventus' performance just because they lost to Lazio 2-1 in Serie A

Sporting is indeed a strong team, but from the history of head-to-head between the two teams, Juventus wins more often than Sporting, so there is no reason to doubt Juventus' performance when matches with Sporting occur. Besides that, Sporting has a bad record when dealing with teams from Italy

Agree. 1 defeat from Lazio doesn't mean Juventus won't win in Europa League match or in the next match in Serie A. They may have had bad luck in that match since they made more shoot attempts but only scored 1 goal. Or it is because the coach sets the wrong tactic, they were lack of attackers in that match. While for the next match against Sporting, the coach may already evaluate the last match and make a better tactic. I am very sure that Juventus has the chance to qualify for the next round, they are still a strong team although they can't maintain good performance during this season.

I don't think there is excuse for this loss, juventus performed poorly,  because if they hadn't they would have won or atleast get a draw, blaming this lose on referee decision would be making excuses for lack of performance. And I would for you to clear up your statement @Dmarxist,  juventus are not playing in the premier league because they are an Italian team so there are playing in the serie A.

Juventus has not lost yet, the chance is still there. It may not be among the favorites but i think that juventus had the biggest chance to win europa league after manchester united. As roma filled the third place as the most potential club to win europa league. Some clubs like feyenoord have become the black horse in this competition. I do know that if people feeling doubt after seeing juventus got beaten by lazio but that's the process. Sometimes a team can also lose against another team. It's not something wrong in my eyes. Juventus is still having the same capability to win the title in this season even though if it needs to go through the hardest way.

Any team shall not be underrated caused by it will able to give you a surprise. The only problem that is always occuring if people were wrongly predicting the outcome from the match. Juventus may not be the best one but it can still compete with MU.
Mu is still able to be beaten. It doesn't even mean MU can take it easily. There will always be a challenge for any clubs in europa league for now.

Losing to Lazio doesn't mean everything is bad about Juventus' performance. Sometimes it's hard for them to find goals because of the defense and luck of their opponents, but a loss is a loss.

Regarding the Europa League, I think you can expect Juventus to play in a different manner and confidence than Serie A. In my opinion, Juventus are the favorites over Sporting so I think they have a chance to win that match on Thursday night. But H2H is also important to see because the two teams have met before in the Champions League.

Domestic league and europa cup are so much different things. By that logic since Sevilla is still around, why are we not entirely certain that United would win, why are we not like selling our houses and cars and betting on United, why are we not 100% certain? Sevilla is doing as worse as you can expect in the domestic league, and they still managed to come this far and they are going to probably end up winning this one too.

This is why it's quite important to realize that the best thing to do is to wait and see because domestic league and europa are different things, same with conference and ucl as well those are cups and in cup games anything could happen. Look at Lisbon and Arsenal for the latest big example.

Looking at H2H, Rome actually excelled, especially when they were able to beat Feyenoord in last season's final, but looking at it in terms of the game at that time, I think Feyenoord was far superior, it's just that they failed to score a goal.

Juventus' loss to Lazio is truly sad. Because I personally put Juventus ahead of Lazio in terms of performance. But in the match, Lazio managed to show great skill, and in the end managed to defeat Juventus.

I don't think they lose to Lazio just to save energy for their match in Europa league.  Italian is something Juventus need to fight for more point that will qualify them for participating in the Champions league league.  Their lose is due to their weakness in performance,  but their is still hope for them to get better in Europa league against Sporting.

As someone who is a big fan of Juventus, I can say the game they lost against Lazio was normal for any great team because even the best team is sometimes not lucky they lose points, there is the same situation for Juventus however I think the referee was not performing well enough otherwise we could see another result in this game and this time Juventus is going to face against Spoting which is an important gmae for them in the champions league and I think Juventus can easily win this game.

To be honest, I don't really follow every development that is happening in Serie A. So, I just analyze it from the available data and statistics. plus, highlights of their matches. so, I will only assume according to the capacity that I have. Juventus' defeat is a natural thing, yes, if I refer to the statistics of these two teams in the Domestic League, they are quite even. plus, when referring to the matches of these two teams. after all, Lazio benefited by playing at its own headquarters.

Apart from this match, I still see Juventus still being superior to their opponent, namely Sporting Lisbon. besides the first leg match held at Allianz Sadium, Juventus headquarters. Then you should be able to convince yourself to choose teams like Sevilla, AS Roma, Bayer Leverkusen or Sporting, which you can involve for a team that is a candidate team to win the Europa League title this season.
Because, if you still say Manchester United and Juventus are strong candidates for the team to win the title this season, then basically you still associate it with their results in the domestic league.

About Juventus, if you realized it at the start of the season, the reality was that Juventus had a bad performance so that in the end Juventus were eliminated from the Champions League. Also, even though Juventus received a penalty for deducting points, the reality is that Juventus' performance has been relatively good so far, it's only about their position in the standings that doesn't look good. lol!
