I think Barcelona will win against Manchester United and now that Cristiano left for the stubbornness of Ten Haag,the coach who wanted to make himself famous by not making Cristiano play (but history will remember Cristiano and no one will remember Ten Haag) is not going to be a big threat to Barcelona now,their attack lacks compared to that of Barcelona which has Lewandowski which is a true goal machine.

Manchester winning against Burnley does not show anything good from them as Burnley plays a category below Premier League and despite leading that category it has conceded goals in most of their games.Now I can bet easily on Barcelona to qualify further and I am sure I will win my bet.

After an interesting world cup performance it is expected that many clubs will perform poor as league competition will resume.
Some other clubs will equally do well because they will bring back the spirit from the World Cup to dominate their league.
In the Europa League I am expecting Manchester United to do better because in their team they have the World Cup winner and the World Cup finalist . These two will add high moral to the team when they arrive

It's almost the same for Barcelona to do better than they did before leaviny for the world cup

Man United retuned a good way last night winning both halves against former city defender turned manager Vincent kompany who now a manager of Burnley.
They didn't get the results they wanted but they put on a good fight, Man United seem like the better side after all the hurdle to still win at the end

Don't think that Real Madrid isn't looking for ways to replace injured players with healthy ones even though their skills and appearance are different from those who are injured. And if you mean Karim Benzema, in general he still has time to continue to recover because the Real Madrid vs Liverpool match will take place in February, so Real Madrid has plenty of time to look for a better replacement in the transfer market.

Well first of all, this is the thread about the UEFA Europa League and not about the Champions League. So i guess you posted in the wrong thread. Regarding the situation of Real Madrid: I am not 100% sure but as far as i know Karim Benzema should be completely fit and healthy again when the second part of the season starts in the Primera Division, because there were already reports that he would have been able to play for France in the later games of this years World Cup but Deschamps still decided to leave him at hame.
The first matches of the Champions League are at the end of February, so i am pretty sure that Benzema will be 100% fit by that time.

It's normal, there are less entertaining games at UCL right now and it is normal for people to be excited about that game. United and Barcelona are both teams that used to be awesome, had a bad period, and trying to recover this year back to their good old years.

They are basically having the same issues and it should not be shocking that their fans want their teams to win not just because they like to win this time, that's true for all times but this time they want it as a sign of recovery to good times as well. One of the fanbases will be upset, one of them will lose, and that will not just be loss of a game but potential loss of hope for the recovery process as well.

Before World Cup 2022, Barcelona had better foundation than Manchester United even United had some improvement in last several weeks before the tournament. The improvements in Barcelona started since the second half of last season and it has been continuing in this season. Xavi already a past second half season and a summer to prepare tactics, trainings for Barcelona.

In contrast, Ten Hag only joined United in the summer and before World Cup 2022, he still tried to do trials and found best formations for United. With good results before World Cup, we can consider that Ten Hag already found a winning formula for United.

I am confused about what you wrote above.
First, you say MU has been on fire in the curabao cup and marcus rashford may become the one who will be a thread for barcelona, even though Rashford was defending Manchester United.
Second, Xavi will be losing some players like de jong that may be going to the MU, in fact there has been no official agreement from the two clubs for the transfer of De Jong.
Third, You sure that MU will able to defeat barcelona in the first leg of europa league, after that you say both teams have a squad capable of beating each other.
Obviously, this is very confusing to me.

But there is a lot of demand for players such as Lewandowski, and similar to what Cristiano Ronaldo did with Al-Nassr, he can sign a huge deal with some of the cash-rich Arab clubs and easily earn a few hundred million USD before he retires.

It won't be good for a player like Ronaldo to move to Al-Nassar because of the name he has made in football.Moving from England to there is like leaving Europe to where your name will not be know.It is only money that can send someone there,but he has the money already,so going there will take him out of the view and access of people.
I prefer he goes to another club in Europe or better still,make things up with Manchester united,but that looks like something impossible now.I pray he finds a club as soon as possible.
