The main goal of the big clubs is their league title and the Champions League. But this season is a little different. Many big clubs are now performing in Europe leagues. But still the main sign of every team is its own league title. Barcelona and Arsenal will be looking to secure their league title. And then they will want to win the Europa League title. But as a common spectator we would definitely like to enjoy a competitive league.
It is certain that this season's European League will run very competitively because there are many big teams in the Europa League this season after several of them failed to perform better in the Champions League. And for Arsenal and Barcelona I see that both of them still have to fight harder to get their own league title, as well as the Europa League title which will look fierce after the Qatar world cup.

I say it all the time, like almost every day
these poor players, they play too much.. the pace is not sustainable
there's no use paying them billions, you have to go back a little
more normal salaries and fewer matches (but of quality)

with exhausted and tired players games are BORING

Yes indeed, their salary is indeed very large and we or maybe it's just me who are just ordinary people, think that is a very high salary for an athlete. Because in reality, every individual also has his own lifestyle and problems, which of course more or less these factors will affect their consistency as well.
Well, an example is like an expensive player like Hazard but in the end he's just more on the bench.

Factors like these make me, as an ordinary person, judge that their salaries are no longer reasonable. Also, as time goes by, of course there will be moments where a player breaks the record for the most expensive salary.
But yes, if they can be consistent it's not a problem, but if they can't contribute big to the team then of course it's a big loss.
But about Arsenal and Barcelona on paper they still have a chance to go further but yes, it's not easy and that's if I only consider their big names.

Barcelona and Manchester United match is expected to be great. Can't predict which team will win. The players of both teams are quite intelligent and skilled, but Manchester United's players are more skilled. We will enjoy the match.

Does anyone really know the result of this game? looking at manchester united and looking at barcelona in my opinion barcelona is much stronger than manchester united and barcelona can win this game, barcelona does not have a good defense, they only have this problem, but they have an attack very good and if the coach of barcelona manages to solve the problems of the weak defense that they have then barcelona could be strong in the champions league next season, about manchester united they have problems in all areas, it gets to be annoying the way they they have been playing poorly, cristiano ronaldo will probably leave manchester united, i doubt he will still be at manchester united when manchester united plays barcelona. manchester united does not show any signs of improving so when they play against barcelona they are as they are currently bad

Well I don't see it that way, if Ten Hag sees that he can use CR7 to win games, I think it's a very good thing, also what is his other strategy? they have very good players, the only thing is that Ten Hag does not develop all the potential of his players on the field, he has to resort to CR7 to be his only key to success, and I think that by the summer he will not have CR7 because CR7 cannot be sitting like this on the bench, putting on players who do not have his vweterania, honestly I do not think that Ten Hag has thought clearly at that time, he is a coach who has a lot to learn, it would really do him good if he guerre of Manchester.
~

Ten Hag played too much in personal showdowns, but Ronaldol is not a boy to endure in silence. Now Ronaldo is leaving United in the winter window (I'm 99.99% sure of that) and I'll see what excuses and "person to blame all the trouble" he comes up with if United continue to show an average game. In general, after Ronaldo's interview, it is clear that there are systemic problems in United and their results are natural. The club has lagged behind advanced competitors, but the owners are not very worried about this.

It's strange that the owners of the club don't even want to change, it looks like they like the way things are, the team plays poorly, doesn't have good results, and cristiano ronaldo had a lot of courage to say something obvious, I don't know why the club does not change. they can see a good example coming from newcastle, they can see a good example from city which are clubs that were bought and have good results and play well. with this fight between ronaldo and the club it is already guaranteed that ronaldo will not play again for manchester united after the world cup, almost all tv commentators are talking about it

I don't think so, those team consider winning the europa league as a way to go to the champion league. this league gives only a trophy and qualification for the next champion league. I don't even think barcelona would be winning the current season. it must be arsenal that potentially winning the title. barcelona is not strong enough to do that. Europa league teams were also strong. barcelona failed last year and it will be failed again this year. The league become more competitive with some major club came yet champion league is still paying main attention from all of football fans
people are always picking barcelona to win the tittle but last season it can do nothing against frankfurt. Barcelona is not tough team to be beaten. Playing offensive and counter attack is a key to win against barcelona

After falling from the most prestigious competition, automatically the big teams that failed will focus more on the domestic league and target the championship trophy. however, to make amends for his failure in the Champions League. the big teams that enter the second caste League, namely the Europa League. they will also target the championship trophy even though it is not as prestigious as the Champions League.

like Barcelona, for example, after dropping into the Europa League competition. like it or not, Xavi will target the title of this competition in addition to targeting the domestic league competition. Barcelona has enough chances to compete in the last 16 round later, on condition that Barcelona qualify during the play-off match. if the injured Barcelona players have fully recovered, Barcelona is a team that is difficult to beat. Barcelona's defeat in the Champions League group stage doesn't necessarily mean that they're not a strong team.

they just rebuilt their strength, at least it took some time to maximize every strategy that Xavi implemented. Unfortunately, 2 defenders who are often relied on get injured.  the poor overall performance of Barcelona's players in the draw against Inter. and yes, Xavi played a role in Barcelona's defeat at that time. So, Barcelona has a chance anyway. however, we don't know how they will play their match later in the playoffs vs Manchester United. for Arsenal, so far they are one of the candidates who have the potential to win this competition.

It will take three seasons before ten Hag and Man United to bounce back
There are some quality but not quality enough to play for united
Having a good coach but the management should be supportive when hunting for good players
I think it's been too long and given the quick change of coaches from Manchester United it's difficult if in the next 2 seasons they can't do something good.
But even now they are actually a lot different than they were before so I feel it just won't take Ten Hag that long to get Manchester back into good form.

This time it is different for Barcelona. The Europa League is going to be very important for them because of their financial condition. They have made many signings and there is even a situation for them like they might not be able to sign new players in January.
Considering this fact, they need to make as much money as possible this season. Maybe they didn't play much good in the Champions League. But I still think that they will fight for the Europa League title. Their priority is of course the La Liga title but I don't expect Xavi to focus on only that. Winning both championships would be awesome for them.
If the management of Barcelona were adequate, then they would not have made all these high-profile transfers in the summer. But they did, and little has changed. What can change if they somehow find the money for the winter transfer campaign? Even winning La Liga and the Europa League won't make them run a budget surplus, and they're heavily indebted.

I don't think Barcelona will add more players to the squad in the winter transfer window. Barcelona is now heavily in debt. Debt repayment is a big challenge for them. Now if they are not making enough money to add more players to the squad. Also, I would say that Barcelona's squad is much stronger now. They have no weakness in attack and midfield. However, the performance of their defenders is a bit weak. However, Barcelona has conceded only 5 goals in La Liga so far. But they conceded goals against renowned and big teams. And their performance in the Champions League was poor only because of poor defense. So Xavi will definitely want to strengthen their defense in the winter transfer.

Well, I agree with you, for me Barcelona is not in a position to negotiate any purchase of players, they do not have enough money and this is also something they also did, because when they bought all those players and a great anera because it was not much for spending, but if it is enough not to buy in these mometnes, or rather, after the World Cup is not the idea because they have no capacity and the team has not consolidated well, they do not understand much or really lack much, because the Level has not demonstrated it despite the fact that they go first in the league, but is aspirated as the union of Berlin in the Bundesliga.

For example Arsenal, they will also be very busy maintaining their position in the Premier League. Manchester United are busy trying to get into the top 4. Juventus are busy trying to stay in the top 4 and all the teams competing in the Europa League have other competitions that are just as busy. So it's not only about Barcelona.
you are right The teams competing for the title in the Europa League this season are all looking to do well in their respective leagues. Barcelona and Arsenal are aiming for the league title. On the other hand, Juventus and Manchester United continue to fight for Champions League qualification. So the Europa League is probably the second priority for all the teams. And so it cannot be said for sure how the teams will perform in the Europa League.
Now it is assumed that the Europa League is not too prioritized for big clubs, it seems that this season is a little different because of the pressure that is on the Europa League by looking at the clubs that are currently contestants, it is clear that it will definitely be exciting and of course it will bring in quite a lot of money.
Especially for Arteta, Xavi or Ten Hag this can be proof because the club they are currently training needs proof with trophies, especially for Barcelona and Arsenal who have spent quite a lot of money in player transfers.

Yes as I said we will see big and strong teams in Europe will compete to get a Europe trophy as a remedy for their failure in the champions league, the play off match between Barcelona and Manchester United will be an interesting match but unfortunately one of them must be prepared ready to be eliminated later, at this time frankly I hope Arsenal will be spared from these big teams and hopefully we can get the European league trophy as a thirst quencher after so long experiencing a title drought Grin.
Barcelona and Manchester United match is expected to be great. Can't predict which team will win. The players of both teams are quite intelligent and skilled, but Manchester United's players are more skilled. We will enjoy the match.

Even though it is quite difficult to predict the results of the meet of the two clubs, I think Barcelona are slightly superior with their appearance record in Laliga. On the other hand, Manchester United's performance in the Premier League has not fully recovered, as seen from the final results of the meet with Aston Villa and Chelsea. This will be my consideration in the upcoming Manchester United vs Barcelona match.

yes this match will definitely be fierce, the challenge of the match for Man United and Barcelona, the two teams who are inconsistent in their performance, must beat each other. Barcelona and Man United have met in the UCL twice even in the Champions League final, now they meet in the play-offs of the Europa League. It's interesting who will qualify for the next round.
So I thought, the Europa League will be as exciting as the Champions League.
True that. But Man UTD would want to take advantage of Barca poor performance in the champions league
The Catalan Giants would prove to be worthy rivals as they've been able to win the red devil's a total of six times and maybe looking to do so again, plus Xavi would not want to give in easily because it seems this is like a second chance given to him to at least make the fans not totally disappointed with them. Who knows, this might be where Man UTD strength would be tested.

After all, Manchester United also didn't play well in the group phase matches and if Manchester United plays well, then Manchester United will be able to win Group E. Although indeed, Manchester United have the same final points as Real Sociedad with 15 points, but is that can be a reference that Manchester United is difficult to beat teams from La Liga.
Also, if we consider the quality of the players, at least Barcelona has better players in every line but unfortunately, Barcelona is still not in its best form so there is no guarantee that Barcelona will win either.

So yes, this match will still be interesting but regarding whether this match will be a high-tension match like in the Champions League, I think it will still be different.
Because in the Champions League they have big plans with big prizes too, but here in the Europa League they may only play with prestige but not a prize as their motivation. Therefore, the tension might not surpass the match in the Champions League, especially if Ronaldo leaves in the transfer window later, then the tension in this match is unlikely to be as big as one might imagine.

As long as they can afford it why not.
and indeed the proof now is good enough for them, especially with the performance they always do, of course this is something very good.
They have exceeded my expectations this season. They can indeed if you see from the pre-season and their performance last season but this change is too big in my opinion and it really opened my eyes more openly sometimes there will indeed be extraordinary surprises for the EPL.
Now they only have to maintain the consistency they have in order to continue to play well.
It’s not easy because it requires a deep bench as well. The main reason for that is the fact that they will be tired after a while, having 11 to 13-14 good players means that they will play nearly 50 games a year, and that is the problem, if you have a good bench then you won't have to play like that and you would end up with winning both of them, but if you do not have a deep bench then players would be tired.

Even City faced that a lot of times, they played very well everywhere, but the further the season went, the worse they became because they had to play both in the league and in fa cup and in UCL all at the same time which is a very tiresome thing in the long run.

To be honest though i would be pretty happy if FC Barcelona would be eliminated by Manchester United in the next round right away. If the club officials of Barca are so stupid to spend that much money on new players, that they have basically spent the money that you get from reaching the knockout stage of the Champions League, then this is definitely their own fault. Before this season i was already surprised and shocked how much money Barca was spending on new players, given the fact that they have 1,3 Billion € of debts and that they had to sell a lot of club property in order to not go bankrupt. They are just action completely irresponsible with their finances.

Barcelona is one of the favorites to win this tournament. But there are other strong teams like Arsenal, Manchester United and Juventus. And now I'm probably forgetting some other teams that also have good chances in this tournament. United potentially has a very strong team, but it still seems to take some effort to turn this team into a voting machine. Barcelona will have a better chance of going far in this tournament if you compare it to the CL. Too bad Arsenal haven't played Cl for so long. I think Arsenal are the light favourites, but that will be with odds around 5.00

I don't think it will be possible to make the Europa League as exciting as the Champions League, but to say one game in the Europa League will be as exciting as the Champions League is probably true. The two teams that usually meet in the Champions League will now meet at a lower level than that, this is something we rarely see, and they are even fighting for a ticket in the play-off round to move on to the next round, they should be able to compete more than this , but here's what happened.
