Trabzonspor cannot continue in the Europa League despite winning the match. They are relegated to the conference league and the only Turkish representative left in Europe is Fenerbahçe. Monaco will continue on their way in Europe as the 2nd with a win.
Fenerbahçe led 2-0 at half time. I honestly didn't expect it. Arda güler made the difference and put his team 2-0 up. 1 goal and 1 assist.

Did you see that?

Arda will be a much better player in the future.
He scored his first European goal tonight.

Conference League will be better for Trabzonspor. Because they are seriously bad, at least they have a chance in the Conference League.

The first half between Arsenal and Zurich has ended with a score of 1 for Arsenal and 0 for Zurich.
The difference between the scheme and the game was clearly seen in this match, even though Arsenal rested a lot of their players because they were preparing to face Chelsea, but they were still able to give a strong dominance.
On the other hand, they also have to win because of course they don't expect to meet a club from the Champions League in the last 16.

The thing was that Sociedad didnt need to win that game. They just need to prevent Manchester United from scoring further. If Manchester United had scored another goal then both teams would have been at exactly the same 8 goals differences thus both teams have the same chance to take the 1st spot to get to 1/8 finals instead of 1/16 finals
Yes, the first team will go straight to the 1/8 finals because only one team will qualify immediately while the other team (ranked 2) must go through the playoffs to return to the competition. The format is not the same as the Champions League because some Champions League teams, especially those in 3rd place in all groups will fill the slots later in Europa League.

So even if Manchester United win this match then they will have to go through the playoffs on goal difference with Real Sociedad. Both of them collect 15 points, but Sociedad has the advantage in goal statistics.

Just look at the final look of Group F.   Grin

I even have no idea how things are calculated in a rare situation like this. One thing I know is that Lazio were a really big disappointment today. Actually it was a quite competitive match between them and Feyenoord. The statistics are also telling what I mean clearly. But Lazio just couldn't answer with a goal despite trying to do it. Of course I don't think that Lazio are very sad about the result as they are continuing in the Europa Conference League from now on. Their priority is the Serie A in the end. But it must be frustrating still to miss the chance like this.

Yes, it is very interesting to see the final result of Group F. I never saw something like this before, all the teams have the same points (8 points). It means Group F is very competitive, all teams have equal strength.

It was unlucky for Lazio that they were defeated in Feyenoord home. Although they dominated the match, won the ball possession, and made more shot attempt but they couldn't score a single goal. Sure, Lazio will be very unsatisfied with the result, they have done all their efforts but they failed to win the match.

I think United might see it as a challenge to draw a team that drops out of the Champions League in the next round. United are hungry and want to play against big opponents in Europe to show what they can do. What also struck me is that Arsenal have only scored 7 goals in the group and are still well ahead. If you don't give much away in defense, you don't have to score many goals. Yet it seems to be a very different Arsenal than in the competition at first glance. It is actually impossible for PSV to become first in the group, Arsenal would then have to lose at their own field from Zurich, which is at the bottom. Qarabag missed the chance to make it to the next one as they got no further than a 1-1 draw against league-leader Freiburg.

Monaco are very determined today and are looking to get into first place in the group by scoring as many goals as possible... But a penalty kick was just awarded to Crevna Zvezda and they did well... Now both teams have scored and that's very good for my multi bet... Really frustrating Feyenord and Lazio so far though... I thought both clubs had huge motivation, but the scoreline is still 0-0...

Monaco finish in 2nd place they are 1 goal behind in total goals not bad at least they passed to the next stage as well as 2 other clubs from Ligue 1
In the other match Lazio were eliminated after being beaten by Feyenoord the competition in Group F is very tight all teams collect 8 points
Only the total goals will determine which team will qualify unfortunately lazio only scored 9 goals while competitors scored 12-13 goals.

Hosts Real Sociedad played very well and clearly decided that attack and pressure is the best form of defence, and no defensive words for Real Sociedad as their 1-0 defeat remained top of Group E.
Manchester United continued to add goals to lead the group until Teh Heg fielded two strikers Ronaldo and Rashford in the second half, but Real Sociedad's defense and pressure was also very good and solid which made it difficult for Manchester United to add goals.
De Gea has played very well in his last two games as he can save some of the opponent's attacks and he was instrumental in Manchester United's victory in his last two matches.

and the next game is Arsenal vs Zurich, which I think Arsenal will definitely win and score a lot of goals.
It's interesting to see Manchester United's performance in this match even though they did have the ball but they lost far in terms of chances and De Gea had to work hard to keep the goal safe.
On the other hand, seeing Manchester United's shot on target in this match was only 1 and it was converted into a goal which I think is quite good even though I don't really like the way they play.

The match between Real Sociedad against Manchester United ended with a score of 0-1 for the Red Devils win. Goals scored their young players Garnacho with assists from Cristiano. A unique fact happened in the match when Maguire came on in the second half and his position was changed to second striker by Erik Ten Hag, of course this was very surprising, I can't understand what the coach was thinking that made Maguire a striker. Huh

Manchester United are currently ahead of Real Sociedad. It is almost completely level with points and goals for and against. I can't see it that way, but I think United can even win the group if they go 0-2 or more. You would say that it doesn't matter because they are already qualified for the next round, but as a group winner I think you have to play one intermediate round less so a greater chance of progressing further in the tournament.
There is no longer any tension in that group. We do have plenty of tension in group F, where everyone can still continue and at the moment there have been no goals at Feyenoord - Lazio.

Wow, looks like United still want to take first place and get rid of two optional games - they scored a goal already in the 17th minute and if I'm not mistaken about the regulations, now they have one goal left to beat Sociedad. If the game ends with this score (a mirror image of United's victory in the first game where Sociedad won), then Sociedad will remain in first place, as Sociedad's other indicators are better.

Whatever the result in the Sociedad Vs Manchester United match, it will not have any effect on whether or not they qualify for the next round. But one thing is for sure, if Manchester can score more goals, it will make them first in the group E standings and will meet the runners-up from another group which incidentally is a weaker team that advances to the next round.

If you look at the match statistics, I think Manchester United will even find it difficult to add their goals because Sociedad is more dominant here.

Roma are really going to have it tough in tonight's game, they need to beat Ludogorets to earn a chance to qualify to the next round. I don't think Jose Mourinho would like to settle for a draw.

The big question is, can Mourinho do it again by qualifying his team to the round of 16? Being 4th in the league is like a morale booster to make them beat the away team at home, as it is they are coming out with everything they have got and I don't see them going for a draw... IMO  is a must win for the Italian side.
Ludogorets won in the previous match 2-1 but Roma is better now comparing to the previous month. Another advantage is playing home. I don't expect a big goals difference margin but Roma should win this game imo.
For the other games, Freiburg, ManU, Monaco, Midtjylland and interestingly Trabzonspor are leading with 1 goal (3 goals for Monaco).
For Trabzon, I don't know if they can keep that result until the end, they should add another goal imo to secure it.

United looks better even with the introduction of Alejandro Garnacho Ferreyra the goal-getter for them and thanks to Ronaldo for the wonderful assist.
The young player has surely impressed with the very good finishing. They said it was his first goal for Manchester but he finished so confidently almost like he has scored so many goals for them before. If he can keep up his performance in the second half I'm sure the coach will start considering him for the first eleven squad. A player like him who is already showing this much potential at this young age has the ability to do so well for the club if given enough playing opportunity. The opposition team almost had a goal against Manchester United but it was saved very well by their goalkeeper. I believe Real Soceidad will score in the second half, thay are also playing well, just need to perfect their finishing.

Roma's game is always up and down and unpredictable despite playing at the Stadio Olimpico as the host but this time Jose will work hard with the players to win the match with Ludogorets which is one of their targets to qualify and finish as runners-up.

I think Jose Mourinho will be able to bring his team through, but as long as their game doesn't disappoint at home, it should be a capital even though I don't know what will happen next, statistically speaking, I think Roma will be more dominant.

KTChampions, this is only the first half and I think there is still a possibility in the second half including the possibility of Real Sociedad winning. Sociedad were stunning in the group stages unbeaten, which means they are strong at the moment in the Europa League who have good chances in every match.

The match stats said both teams were equally good, but Manchester United managed to take the chances well and took the lead in the first half. But somehow the @11 odds for Sociedad seem absurd even though they are just 0-1 down to Manchester United. Is Sociedad that hard to be expected to change the position in the second half?
