In group D, U.S Gilloise came out on top. Honestly I was surprised that they finished as leaders when there were braga and union berlin. While Union Berlin did well in the German league, they didn't do well both in Europe and in the league.
In Group F, it's a sad situation for Sturm Graz. Everyone had equal points but they were eliminated from the European Cups due to bad averages. It was a very strange table.

Manchester United’s performance in the game against Real Sociedad was okay. They could have also played better than what they displayed. Real Sociedad had a lot of chances at goal but was all thwarted by the ever galant David de Gea.

Real Sociedad were hungry for goals and it showed in the game. The game was fast paced and I believe it was Real Sociedad that made it so. But Manchester United also wasn’t ready to lose the game and strived to get a second goal to top its group, but Real Sociedad had a sturdy defense and denied Manchester United the top spot in the group.

Roma proved their quality over Ludogorets Razgrad. I didn't watch their game because I watched Manchester United who managed to get a dramatic win, but AS Roma vs Ludogorets Razgrad stats are very interesting.

But honestly I don't think Roma is a candidate for the title this season their performance is not impressive.

Both games were finals. AS Roma would also made it with a draw, but for Union Berlin a draw wouldn't been enough. They must win the game. The Group F is really crazy after 6 matchdays. Each team has 8 points and only the 2 winners in the laste game have reached the next round. Lazio Rom need only 1 goal for the place 1 in the group. The frustration of Romero in the 96 minute showed with a red card.

Watched it full and I have to say Roma is a bit lucky to get 2 penalties plus 1 disallowed goal for Ludogorets. Some people say it as a bit controversial match especially related to the disallowed goal for Ludogorets. Ludogorets seems to be frustrated after the disallowed goal, then one of their player made an unnecessary fault which resulted in a red card.  However final result is a final result, congrats to Roma for qualifying to the knock out stage but they should be ready to play against harder team.

Real Sociedad had anticipated this, because they only needed a draw and even when they lost, they didn't lose by more than 1 goal, and that's what they got in this match. Manchester United's efforts to penetrate the defense built by Real Sociedad did not produce the results they wanted, although winning 1 goal was not enough to bring them to shift Real Sociedad at the top of the standings. Even Real Sociedad actually have more chances than Manchester United.

I feel that Manchester United would have qualify from the group as toppers if not that their coach made some starting line up mistakes. There was obviously no pressure on the Real Sociedad team during the first half. It's a shame Lazio had to get out of this match but it's interesting to see the points they got in this group F

All clubs do have a chance in the last game and of course the final result is decisive. Lazio had to settle for being in 3rd place because of their goal difference they lost.
