Manchester United defence can prevent Sociedad from scoring but I am not sure Manchester United attackers will get 2 goals easily from Sociedad. I don't think it matters much for Manchester United where they finish in the group. They lost at home to Real Sociedad and they have won all matches and are therefore at the top of the group. United would then have to win out at Sociedad and that does not happen anytime soon. But if United comes in 2nd in the group, they also go through to the next round. The tension is not really there anymore in this group, it was already clear at the start of the tournament which 2 teams would go through to the next round. in other groups there is more tension on the matches, next week we will see who continues with the victories.
Real Sociedad are already leading the group with Man United as second place, yes they loss to Real Sociedad but that doesn't warrant saying they will finish top. Two more games to go they can end up winning Sociedad to top the group. Man u are doing what they can to avoid second place so they will not face club's dropped out from the champions league groups as it will be more difficult.
