Already an achievement in itself that Sevilla made it to the final. You wonder how that is possible when you look at the performance of this team in the competition. You wouldn't think so. But in Europe, different football rules and different football laws apply, it seems. Seville's most successful season to date in the Europa League. It is no surprise that Juventus made it to the final, but the final alone is not enough. Only the cup win counts. it would still be a great season for Juventus, a great season for Sevilla.

Roma are seventh in the points table. I think if the coach of this team brings some innovation then the team will make an impossible comeback and be able to perform well. Although they remained as defense throughout the match, they won the match without conceding a goal. Sevilla, on the other hand, had only 1 defeat in the last 6 matches played in UEL, which was a 1-0 score against Fenerbahçe. Manchester United and Juventus failed to beat them. Sevilla are playing very well and if they win the final they will have raised their level even higher.

Leverkusen was a good enough team. Roma still managed to qualify for the final. After winning the first leg, Roma played completely defensively in the second leg. And they managed to draw the match. The Sevilla team is strong but Roma has a chance to win this match. Mourinho is an experienced coach. He is well aware of his squad's capabilities. He will likely play defensively against Sevilla and try to score from counter-attacks. I expect Roma to win this match.

Sevilla by some unknown power, they managed to go to a final match even they had many months struggling with relegation zone in La Liga. Sevilla always play well in Europa League but this season is very different as in the last ten years, it is a first season Sevilla struggled to stay in La Liga. In many previous seasons, they were very powerful and competitive in top six, top four or even were one of title competitors. This season actually proves that Sevilla have DNA to win Europa League but they still have one last match to be a champion.

After two seasons with Mourinho, Roma players actually digested the defensive philosophy of Mourinho very well.
