If you look at the history of the European League, Sevilla deserves to be proud because they are the most accomplished team in the second caste competition in Europe. But for this edition of the final match I will not stick to that history, because Roma, who lack experience, also have great motivation on the European stage. Jose Mourinho became the difference in that match, thanks to his experience Roma transformed into a new force that deserves respect.

Apart from that, what makes the final match very tight this time is because these two teams both carry the ambition to win the championship and automatically get a direct ticket to the Champions League. Both of these teams also have no hope in the domestic league to be able to get a Champions League ticket, so this final will be a top priority for Sevilla and Roma.
Mourinho's experience may never be of much help to Roma if the players are too afraid to go forward like they did against Leverkusen. Defending like that is very tiring and every player has to avoid even the slightest mistake, so I don't think this kind of strategy would be very useful if Mourinho used it in the final.

I hope both teams attack and score goals against each other. I don't want Roma to focus on defense and only use counter-attacking schemes to score goals, it will only be damaged if Sevilla can score first instead of Roma. On my part, Sevilla is the most likely title candidate to win the Europa League final based on their record.

I think whatever Mourinho brings, he will bring knowing full on well what he is going to do and that matters a lot. There are tons of people who would consider this as a wrong thing because you can't just make a tactical change on the finals. But he has done that before and it has worked, he is the type of manager that changes the system based on who they face, which means that he is going to end up being something that is a lot better.

I understand that it is not going to be that easy, we need to realize that whatever he does, he does it knowing full on well a few steps ahead. Roma might still lose, there is no guarantee that they will win, but I am sure that Mourinho will do his best to make Sevilla work as hard as possible for that win.

Europa League specialists Sevilla into the final once again with a 2-1 victory over Juventus. The year 2006 was the first time Sevilla won the Europa League trophy and Sevilla have won the Europa League a record 6 times. And this season they will play the final again. Sevilla's run to a seventh Europa League trophy.

Also, it looks like Sevilla is the team that has won the most Europa League titles so far because in fact, Sevilla have also won the Europa League title for three consecutive seasons. So yes, I can say Sevilla has good quality and chances here in the Europa League, so even though Sevilla's performance in the local league is not good, but Sevilla is still getting good results in the Europa League.

What's more, Sevilla managed to eliminate strong candidate teams in the Europa League this season, such as Manchester United and Juventus. With such a result, of course Sevilla will still have a good chance to beat AS Roma in the final match later. But yes, I am also aware that AS Roma has a great coach like Mourinho who certainly will have no doubts about his quality in the title race.

Sevilla is has the best experience of the league than Roma and I will say that they also know how to win the final game because it isn't something new to them anymore. Sevikla do take this league very serious and I will say they are in a good form currently too to face whatever pressure of tactics that Mourinho and his men will come up with.

On the other hand Mourinho will want to prove himself that he is still a world class coach and will do everything possible and he will also come up with his best tactics that he will use to win the game. This fight is between two lions because getting to the finals is not an easy task it means that you are good to get there and not by mistake. I don't think I can predict the club that will win yet.

I think for the final match this time in the Europa League it doesn't only depend on the strategy of the coach, but also has a bit of a motivational effect when playing at home like Sevilla, although I also believe that Roma will try to show their skills better in the final for the sake of won the trophy this season.
Mentality from the squads owned by any clubs will be tested here. Im sure that if mourinho has been preparing a good strategy to face sevilla very soon. Roma has been getting so many motivation after it was winning conference league last season.
Roma goes to the european final two times in a row and it was also booting the mentality from the players to play in the final against sevilla.

What kind of strategy that will be used by mou? Defense, hybrid or offense? I guess it will be a defense. The main mission owned by mourinho to make sevilla's players frustated first.
Roma will get a chance to win the game once all of sevilla attacks will think if they were not able making goal against roma.

It's just that the enthusiasm and motivation of the Seville players are also greater in this final because they will be competing at home with quite a lot of supporters.
The next match gonna be happening in puskas arena which was official stadium from hungary's national team. I think that if there will be no away or home here.

Yeah i agree Roma serie A performance and europa league performance are two different things, it will be a tough game for sure i think its 50 50 if i had to bet i would put my money on mourinho team because a final is different than the knock out stage and the better team doesn't allways win sometimes it comes down to the coach choices.

the odds offered by bookies are also attractive nowadays. but this gamble will definitely make gamblers confused. Roma is superior to some comments by football observers. I will also support Roma.
Roma have coaches who are very experienced in all European competitions and have also handled several other strong European teams, while Sevilla they are only mentally strong as champions and their history in European league competition is proven by their collection of the most trophies to date.

Humbly, I would also prefer what Mourinho will do in the future and as for the odds I don't think it matters even if it's just slightly different. We know Mourinho's capacity so far and he was often able to get rid of his strong opponents against Roma and Sevilla, maybe luck has run out against Juventus in the previous game.

Mourinho is not a great coach if you want to have sexy football and want to have a sustainable team like 5 years or longer. A great coach like that is Pep, Klopp as they always want to have sexy football from their players and they talk about their players in more friendly words. I read many times that Pep is not an easy coach to work with and he hides his plan with players but he is clever to create internal drama like Mourinho.

Roma can win with 50% chance. I am like stupid to say this but they don't have bigger chance because Sevilla are strong too and Roma can not be considered as stronger than Sevilla.

Sevilla has Spanish style and will play attacking football with high ball possession. They are very different than Roma that will play defensive and wait for chances from either Sevilla mistakes or counter attacking. After two seasons, Roma players digested their defensive and counter attacking tactics of Mourinho good and they are able to use it good enough in the final match.

But it is a strategy that can work out as we have seen against Bayer Leverkusen. Roma literally didn't even try to score, their game was all about destroying the opponent's game, not creating a game themselves. The only issue I have with this is that there are too many elements that have nothing to do with the sport itself or with being smart. When a player is lying on the ground every few minutes, it isn't smart in my opinion and it also isn't good strategy. It is destroying the game and the purpose for which the fans paid money to go into the stadium. When I want to see people lying around in pain I can visit hospitals.

It's smart strategy. It doesn't matter what strategy that being used as long as it can give trophy and that's the main purpose in football. You will be known as a part of history if you were winning the trophy but you will be also known as a loser if you were losing in the final. Your fans will be singing chants to praise your team no matter what strategy used by its coach. Jose has proven itself boring football can beat beautiful football and why not?
Did you think play beautifully and then lose the game is the main purpose of the football? Football is about winning trophy. Losing the trophy will make you to be called as looser. The fans will be so grateful if their favorite clubs were winning trophy.
If you lose and the club who win the trophy will be mocking you. The name of club will be remember in the history as long as the club has ever won the trophy.

All of strategies that used by mourinho are smart strategy.

I thought it would be better to not answer your post, but I can't hold back... As a fan I can repeat myself that I want to see a soccer game and not people lying around on the pitch pretending to be injured. That has nothing to do with the sport. It is part of the sport, that is correct, but is it a good part of that sport? I prefer games where two teams play with the goal to generate some action during the game, not acting. Action, not acting! Those are two different things. Real Madrid vs. Barcelona was action even when there were fouls and emotions, that's ok and that is part of the game and should be part of the game. But behaving like a barbie falling down every few minutes and crying, you can't really like that and call it "smart". It is shameful and that is the major reason why a player like Neymar is frequently getting the bird.

When someone goes for an obvious dive and hasn't been touched by an opponent, gets a penalty, scores it and wins a trophy, you would call that smart? I would call it unsportsmanlike. Everything that happens on the pitch to save time while playing soccer, I think that's ok. Keeping the ball within your team in a smart way, winning corner kicks by kicking the ball against the opponent, there are many tricks to win time. But diving or falling on the ground pretending you are injured and then jump up again and play like nothing has ever happened, that isn't smart. That's bullshit.

Mourinho has led his team to this title twice, so Mourinho's experience alone may be enough for Roma to win the final. Both of his finals in this league have been victories, Porto in the 02/02 season and Manchester United in the 16/17 season.  I'm not talking about the champions league... So if Mourinho has brought the team to this stage, he will surely do his best to win

Mourinho has one advantage and that is not necessarily the experience, but the willingness to accept a 0-0 draw and penalty kicks. Sevilla won't want that and as long as Roma can keep a clean sheet, Mourinho knows that Sevilla will get impatient and perhaps lose their nerves at some point.

Speaking of experience I think that Sevilla does not need to hide. There is a good number of players who have participated in and won huge finals, even the World Cup final 2022. Mourinho's experience alone won't win them the game, but when they have a bit of luck and can get Sevilla to be despaired, the momentum will be in favor of Roma. I fear that could be his game plan.

I hadn't thought about it, but it sounds quite plausible, only in that case Roma's players would have to play on endurance, which is mentally tough as well. Running, defending and waiting for the opponent to make a mistake is not so much difficult as dangerous, because if you concentrate on that you can also make a mistake yourself, as if the same does not happen here

@shogun47 I won’t be surprised if Mourinho decides to park the bus again in the final’s because that strategy has worked for him however if Sevilla score one or two quick goals then it could backfire on him hence I’m hoping that he creates a backup strategy. Lastly I want Mourinho to win and silence his critics who have said that he’s a finished coach because for me he’s yet an brilliant tactician who can improve any team he decides to coach.

The current odds given to the Europa League finale are like the ones in the image above. Sevilla are the favourite side to win the title by a small margin as it is seen. However first of all I think this match won't end in 90 minutes. Plus we had better be ready to watch a quite boring match too. Because both of these teams like to play a controlled game in this kind of situations. I don't think any side would play very openly. If even one side decides to do that it would be Sevilla most probably.

Because it doesn't have a place in Mourinho's playbook. Unless he has to do this he wouldn't make such choice. Both teams would like to weigh the other at first too and maybe there would be more action in the second half. But my score predictions for regular time are 0-0 and 1-1.
Judging from semifinal match between Roma vs Leverkusen i am sure both teams will playing carefully although probably Sevilla will taking innitiative to playing with more attacking but they also don't want to conceded goal and Mourinho had good reputation on the final match because he never lost in 5 finals matches from european competitions before so Sevilla this time had strong opponent because winning percentages from Mourinho while playing at final matches is quite high

Sevilla had experience playing against the team who have defensive style Juventus and they can able to overcomes Juventus although the match should ended with extra time and maybe this experience can be implement to analyzed Roma weaknesses but just like i said before Roma has Mourinho and clearly they are stronger from Juventus in this competition and also he has make this team very solid with strong mentally

Now, Sevilla will play their match against AS Roma. as we all know, Jose Mourinho has never lost when his team entered the final match, correct me if I'm wrong. In this final match, I'm not supporting either team. especially if Mourinho uses his flagship formation. that means, this final match will not be interesting. but hopefully, not as I thought.
well, when it comes to betting, there's nothing that the dealer prefers. and if we refer to Over/Under, the options are only 2 goals. this indication, means that the match will not produce many goals.

Mourinho is an experienced coach. And because of Mourinho's efforts, the Roma team is performing well this season. But does Roma have the ability to beat Sevilla in the Europa League final? Today I watched Roma's performance against Salernitana. Roma cannot play well. The match was drawn 2-2. Roma's defence was able to penetrate easily against Salernitana. If Roma's defence is so weak against Sevilla, the Roma team will have to concede several goals against Sevilla.
I think the final match could end in a draw. This year, Sevilla and Roma cannot play to their full performance. Sevilla can be seen as the advantageous team as they have eliminated important teams in the European league. I think Rome might be a little less fortunate. Sevilla has won this trophy many times before, and we can see a similar one this year.

don't worry, Mourinho has indeed put in place a strategy not to focus too much on Serie A so that all the physicality of Roma's players will be maintained ahead of the final against Sevilla. if indeed today's match Roma vs Salernitana ends in a draw, that is much better than having to lose against Salernitana which can reduce Roma's points.
if you have doubts about Roma defense, don't worry, all the teams that qualify for the finals will definitely form a better formation than in the main league and I'm also sure that the Sevilla vs Roma match will be a very tight and mutually reinforcing match in defense.

who will be the winner in the final round of the UEFA European league depends on each coach.

Mourinho is definitely disappointed about Serie A and there is no need for Mourinho to be worried about the Italian league because even after they take 10 points from Juventus again, Roma won't get the ticket for the next champions league and that's normal to see Roma focused on the game against Sevilla more than anything.
yep, that's right. because from the rest of this match it seems Mourinho has believed that it is impossible to get a ticket to the champions league and on the other hand from the remaining matches it will be very difficult to continue to get more points while Roma must focus on the European league this season.
I'm not going to side with any team in this final even though Sevilla had a strong performance but Roma's hopes are only in this European league and if Roma lose this final I think Mourinho will be very disappointed.

Serie a will always be like that. Roma seems very hard to get UCL spoint through the domestic league. It's the time for mourinho to put everything into the match against sevilla that will come at the end of this season.
The only chance for roma to take an alternative way to go to the UCL through winning UCL. It seemsed to me that if roma will be winning the trophy. It will be a great achievement for roma as long as it will able to beat sevilla in the final.
Jose mourinho will be called as the best coach in as roma. It's caused by with very smalla mounts of bundet that given by roma in summer and mourinho was able going to the final for the second times in a row.
What a great achievement by mourinho with as roma. I hope that roma will be taking europa league trophy very soon.

The big obstacle for Sevilla is Roma because Roma under the tutelage of Jose Mourinho, their game is getting better and it's even difficult to predict that Sevilla will be able to beat Roma.  Indeed, Sevilla is a team that has been quite successful in the Europa League this season, especially since they have eliminated strong teams to reach the final this season.

I expect that this final match will present a better game from these two teams. Both sevilla and roma they still have the same chance for now. For roma they were successful last season in the Europa conference League and this season there is a big possibility that jose mourinho will bring roma to victory in the europa league
