I think so too, I'm not concerned about what strategy they will apply, because it's free for them to do. It's just that what I want to say here is what their chances are when they do a total defense. It's a final game, although I understand maybe they're going for shootouts and such. But they must try to venture out to end the match in 90 minutes.
Actually AS Roma has the ability to do that, it's just that it depends on how the coach wants it, whether he wants to play defensively or play openly to finish the game in normal time.

What I don't understand about Mourinho is why he doesn't let Dybala get more play time. He only comes from the bench so often. He is in the starting eleven a litte bit more than 50% of the time. Is he really not on the level that he can start almost every game or is Mourinho so in love with his role as a joker? It can work out and it did a couple of times, but Dybala in top form is a player who should start the game. You want him on the pitch when you have dangerous standard situations close to the box. When you bring him on in the 75th minute and he doesn't get a single chance, of what help was it to put him on the bench in the first place?

I will not stick to the history of their meetings in the previous year because this season it is clear that these two teams are quite different in their form in the Europa League and I am still quite sure that Roma can overcome Sevilla in the final this time. Even though last season Roma won the European Conference League title, I think the Europa League will certainly be very different. Roma only proved that they could beat Feyenoord with a score of 1-0 in the final which is actually far more accurate to say as luck considering that Feyenoord was very good at dominating attacks and games. Roma tend to defend and counterattack, so I don't think that kind of luck will always be with them this season in the Europa League final.

Sevilla is very experienced and has great motivation to win the final. Mourinho's strategy is clearly about defending after getting the first goal, but if Sevilla manage to do it first then Roma will be in big trouble.

Interesting video but it is far in the past, 3 years ago. Many things changed in both clubs in three years. Sevilla look to become weaker and Roma become stronger in those years. Result can be different in the final match in Budapest.

UEFA requires guests to login in order to watch videos. I don't like this approach and they can collect our information and sell it for money.

Roma got big improvement in last two seasons with Mourinho and clever transfer strategy. Sevilla were still good in the past season but in this season, they have problems and are weaker. Their final will not be decided by their history and their past meeting result. It will be decided by their present and their performances in that match.

With latest changes in both clubs, the final match will be very balance based on their quality and their forms in this season as well as recent forms.
