Xabi Alonso has without doubt had a very good performance with his Bayer Leverkusen team this season and should be complimented for all the hard works that he's out in place for the club. However when it comes to tactical experience in coaching Jose Mourinho knows far better than he does so I don't think there's any ground to compare the two football managers.
Xabi Alonso has a good debut season for his coach career and he has a chance to win a big title in Europe with Leverkusen. After this season, I think Leverkusen will sell some of their young star players in the summer. It will bring difficulty to Xabi in his management for Leverkusen next season and it won't be easy for him to repeat similar success in a next season.
Xabi Alonso has a different philosophy for his coach career than Mourinho's philosophy but he has lot of time to improve or even change his philosophy as his coach career is just at beginning.
Mourinho had chances to face with some young coaches like Stankovic, Xabi Alonso and Thiago Motta. They are all players who were managed by Mourinho in the past. Time flies so fast and those meetings mean Mourinho is old already but I am happy to see their meetings are full of happiness.
Bayer Leverkusen who'll play the second leg of their semi-final second at home would definitely find it very difficult to break Roma's defense and I wouldn't be surprised to see Roma win away at Leverkusen tomorrow.
Especially when Roma have some returns of their defenders. Only Kumbula is injured but he will not be able to return in this season. Other players are recovering and can make contribution for Roma in the important semi final. They are not all ready but at least better than latest weeks.
