Leverkusen's mentality is on another different level, they're not only looking to qualify for the next round, but they also looking to make their record longer. If Leverkusen can finish with three titles and continue with their unbeaten record, I think they're the most successful one season wonder team in history.

Their achievements is way bigger than Napoli and Leicester City who won in their own domestic league.

To be honest, Leverkusen did not have the squad to go undefeated for an entire season and win the Bundesliga title. Leverkusen does not have any star players in their squad. This is a mediocre squad. But with the help of Xabi Alonso, the Leverkusen team has become stronger. The bonding between the players has strengthened. The players are also very confident now. Due to this, the team has not lost a single match so far this season.

Leverkusen also managed to draw the second leg match against Roma. But Leverkusen were very lucky. The Leverkusen team returned to equality in the match by scoring at the very last minute in the 90th+7th minute.

Indeed! It was really an unbelievable comeback. I can't count anymore how many times they saved themselves from losing in the last minute.    Besides Stanisic was the one to do it again like he did in one of the recent games in the same way. When Roma got 2-0 ahead and kept it for long I really thought about whether this would be the moment.

It is 49 games now in the unbeaten streak. It is so difficult to predict when this will end. It is like Xabi Alonso did some magic and it is still keeping the team without loss.    After this point I hope Leverkusen manage to finish the season with 3 titles and no loss for breaking a huge record.

Xabi Alonso managed to make Leverkusen a very strong team in just the 2 seasons he was there, namely since 2022. And I also feel that Xabi Alonso has done a very good job there. In fact, I'm sure the club owners also feel that what Leverkusen achieved exceeded their expectations. Now Leverkusen has made it to the European League Final. And actually Leverkusen will also be favorites in the final. Atalanta may be as strong as Roma. But with the Leverkusen players' very strong mentality and disciplined style of play, I'm sure Leverkusen deserves to be the favorite.

A goal in the final minutes that ultimately made the match end in a draw is proof that Bayer Leverkusen really has a winning mentality. They will still qualify for the final round even though they have to lose 1-2 in the second leg, but I think their composure and confidence don't just come from that reason but because they already have that mentality. Now their path is only one step away and I think Bayer Leverkusen have everything they need to become Europa League champions. Atalanta is indeed not an easy opponent but I remain confident that Bayer Leverkusen will be able to beat them.

Once again, Bayern Leverkusen has impressed. They performed strongly from the start, though luck wasn't on their side with goals, and Roma put up a solid defense. I thought it was all over this time, but they remain undefeated. It's undeniable how impressive this team is. Xavi Alonso, what magic have you worked with these players? I can't express it enough. I sincerely hope they keep this unbeaten streak going. I don't want their remarkable journey to end anytime soon.

Sure is gonna be very difficult for Atalanta irrespective of how good in terms of performance they have been on this season, though I most say that Atalanta has been quite impressive on this season performing the way they did especially on there match against Marseille they were so impressive that Marseille tried all there possible best to break Atalanta defense line but they could not and Atalanta proves to them that they are more better than them in performance, however if it was more smaller clubs that will be facing Atalanta on the finals I would have say that Atalanta will win but meeting Bayern Leverkusen I doubt if they can stand a chance on that match because Bayern Leverkusen has the best wining record on this season.

Yes, it might be more difficult to defend the title next season. This is one of the toughest challenges for football managers to make the club maintain its title or improve it. Because next season, they still have to start from scratch and fight again with a composition and situation that may be different. But at least, I'm sure that while Xabi is still at Leverkusen, Leverkusen's condition will not be like Napoli when Spaletti left. Really curious about how Xabi will lead Leverkusen in the UCL next season after their extraordinary success this season.

Leverkusen is just one step away from winning the Europa League title. However, this will not be that easy considering that their opponent is Atalanta, which we see in the Europa League, whose performance is quite convincing and consistent. In the match against Roma another miraculous thing happened, where Leverkusen managed to deny defeat in the final minutes. If you pay attention Leverkusen is almost the same as Real Madrid, which can always escape the opponent's pressure in crucial minutes. Maybe this is also a sign that Leverkusen will have to meet Real Madrid in the future.

Leverkusen managed to hold Roma to draw with goal in the second half during extra time, but before that Mancini made mistake with an own goal.
If there were no mistake swhich was done by Leverkusen then Roma would not have had two goals because the goals occurred due to penalty, this was really interesting match.
Apart from that, Atalanta managed to win with score of 3 - 0 over Marseille and this victory made Atalanta qualify for the final.

Atalanta is not team that can be taken lightly and I see that in the final Atalanta will provide fierce resistance to Leverkusen and of course this match will be full of pressure from both teams to be able to gain goal advantage more quickly.

Roma took a 2-0 lead through L. Paredes after successfully executing two penalties perfectly which made Agg 2-2, Roma were able to play freely without any pressure after winning 2-0, it was Leverkusen who started to be under pressure after Roma made the chance 50: 50. A mistake made by Roma defender G. Mancini after scoring an own goal gave Leverkusen the upper hand again, Roma was under pressure and had difficulty finding additional goals due to their players becoming increasingly tired. One goal scored by Leverkusen in extra time meant that Xabi Alonso team avoided defeat and had the chance to win the Europa League Trophy this season.

Yes Roma played well and they could be the team that could break Bayer's record, but somehow Alonso avoids defeat again. An own goal is unpleasant, especially when there is so little time left in the match and there is no strength left to score more. Bayer are favorites in the final, that was clear, but don't forget that Atalanta were able to beat Liverpool and stop them, so if they repeat that with Bayer it will be a great achievement. It looks like Atalanta is in great shape now, the final should be interesting.

It's hard to believe what we've seen from Leverkusen this season, but we really can see they can do that. This is not the first time they have scored a goal in the final minutes of a match, because in the Bundesliga they also did the same thing, such as when facing Borussia Dortmund and also when facing Stuttgart, they also did the same thing. This should have been anticipated by the opponent seeing how they could suffer when entering the final minutes.

Now there is only one step left to ensure that Leverkusen can win the Europa League title this season and if you look at their performance, they are the team that is the main favorite to become champions this season. Roma came very closely to pull Leverkusen to a first defeat in this season and to 30 extra minutes but the mistakes of Svillar and Mancini helped Leverkusen to come back. A second goal helps Leverkusen to defend their unbeaten streak but it comes when Roma had nothing to lose.

Generally, Leverkusen played very well in attacking but Roma did their heroic performance too. It's just only one winner between Roma and Leverkusen, last season it's Roma and this season, it's Leverkusen. Their semi final matches in this season are more exciting than their matches last season, with more attacking.

With this defeat in Europa League, Roma have to return to Serie A, with another big match, with Atalanta at the weekend. They already fell behind Atalanta on Serie A ranking table and must beat Atalanta in this direct match to hope that they will take over the fifth position from Atalanta.

AS Roma, who appeared to attack from the first minute of the match, managed to equalize the aggregate at 2-2. Who would have thought that Bayer Leverkusen would not accept that they had to lose in front of thousands of their own fans who packed the stadium. Leverkusen always turns up at the end of every game they are playing when the opponent is about to win the game, Leverkusen makes the game end draw in 97 minutes when the game is about to end, I said it before the game should start, I stated that Leverkusen will defeat Roma no matter how hard Roma tried Leverkusen must find a way to win the match, Leverkusen did not only find a way to win the match they also want to keep their record of unbeaten record throughout the season and at the end of the game they score a goal and make the goal 2:2 to keep their record, the way Leverkusen is performing this season is very impressive maybe Xabi Alonso got the believe and also how to win a game at the end of the game with Real Madrid because they are winning games like Real Madrid.

The final is going to be played between Leverkusen and Atlanta,  the match is going to be tough because both teams are very strong and they are having a good season, but in terms of scoring goals and winning mentality Leverkusen is better than Atlanta, Leverkusen can defeat Atlanta and win the trophy, the reason why I said that is because of the team performance, although a game can change and anything can happen but with Leverkusen performance this season they are the favorite team to win this season Europa league title.

It happened again, in the last minutes leverkusen scores a goal, that was minute 97. They cant lose, thats how it looks, it is unbelievable. Leverkusen in the final, that is what a lot of people have bet and that is how it should be, they are currently the strongest team in Germany. Atalanta Bergamo is a big surprise for me, in Serie A they are on 5th place, in the Italian Cup they are in the final and now also in the final of the Europa League, this is already a very successful year for Bergamo. I dont think they will win the Italian Cup, they play against Juventus Turin and i dont think they will win the Europa League, Leverkusen are the favorite.

I thought Bayer Leverkusen had to go through extra time because they were 0-2 behind which made the aggregate goals 2-2, but once again the Bayer squad played with high spirit to ensure a place in the European league final was theirs, I felt sorry for Mancini's mistake, that mistake seemed to put Roma down and Bayer was able to play more aggressively to equalize, and they not only made it to the final but once again managed to maintain their unbeaten record.

Atalanta may not be the favorites in the final, but they are the most impressive team to make it to the final, so Bayer Leverkusen must be wary of Atalanta's resistance. This should be an evenly contested final even though Bayer will be the big favourite.

Leverkusen's defense was so strong that if it weren't for the penalty kick, Roma might have had difficulty penetrating Leverkusen's goal, like in the first leg where Roma had difficulty scoring goals so Roma ended up not scoring a goal against Leverkusen. Roma was lucky because they got a penalty so they were able to take a 2 goal lead before Roma players made a mistake and created an own goal which made the Leverkusen players more confident to score an additional goal to equalize. For some reason when Leverkusen almost experienced defeat but there was something that made Leverkusen lucky that day to continue its unbeaten record even though if Roma did not make a mistake, Leverkusen could have suffered their first defeat.

Even though they lost by 1 goal in today's match, Leverkusen will still qualify for the final because Leverkusen has created 2 aggregates in the first leg, Roma be unlucky maybe if they are able to defend these 2 goals, they will get the opportunity with a penalty shootout to qualify for the final, but unfortunately Roma will have to swallowed the bitter pill of defeat and failed to reach the final like last season, however, Roma still cannot just give up on fighting again in the Europa League next season if this season ends up finishing in the Europa League zone.

Atalanta can really make optimal use of the advantage of playing at home. Overall they still lost a little in possession of the ball but in the first half, Atalanta really dominated the game and it was clear that Marseille could not provide any significant resistance. The tempo of the game seemed to decrease after Atalanta managed to score the second goal and this gave Marseille quite a lot of opportunities to build attacks but unfortunately, Marseille could not take advantage of every opportunity they got and instead of reducing their deficit, they even conceded again in the final minute.

Atalanta does have a good record against Bayer Leverkusen but the 2 wins they got were last season and in my opinion, it would clearly be different if they faced the current Bayer Leverkusen. This season Bayer Leverkusen has shown very impressive improvement. They turned into a very solid team and even they had already confirmed themselves as Bundesliga champions this season. What is quite astonishing is that Bayer Leverkusen has never lost in the Bundesliga and Europa League, and I think this gives Leverkusen very high motivation to keep this record from being broken, so they will do everything to at least not lose in any match they play.
