If Roma could not beat Bayer at home, then it will be even more difficult to do so at the Bay Arena. This is a big lesson for a stronger team against a weaker team and Liverpool can be considered as much stronger than Atalanta with bigger difference than how Leverkusen are stronger than Roma. Chance for Roma to make surprise is bigger than Atalanta and their chance will depend on their performance in the first half. If Roma score first and make Leverkusen panic, they can make a come back.

Probably even worst than it? We do know that roma was losing in home game against leverkusen with good scores. Im not even expecting roma to play better than what they did at stadion of olimpico. 2-0 can be the very least scores for the roma vs leverkusen. It's away game for the club.
Everything looks so easy for bayern leverkusen. They keep defending their unbeatable records, winning trophies and money. Xabi has turned whole players of leverkusen to be super humans.

AS Roma still inconsistent performance from the last three matches in all competitions, two matches in Serie A without winning and the defeat to Bayern Leverkusen in the first leg became bad capital when playing in the second leg.
I doubt conceded two goals on the first leg will make easy for Roma come back and winning over three goals on second leg match with Bayern Leverkusen have reach the most highest unbeaten record 49 matches all competition without loss.

Bayern Leverkusen will complete the unbeaten record reach 50 matches all competition on second leg match against Roma, I don't think easily to get any team will defeat Bayern Leverkusen in this season after winning Bundesliga trophy and keep perform well on several matches left in domestic league.

Leverkusen played very well this season but they should not get too comfortable. If they underestimate their opponents they might lose titles they are working towards. Game against Roma is not over yet even though they're ahead by two goals. Roma will fight hard to make it to the finals and Leverkusen needs to be ready for tough second game. Atlanta is a strong team and Liverpool learned the hard way not to underestimate them. As a Leverkusen fan I want them to stay focused and careful because one mistake could be very costly.

Will we have a final match like this mainly depend on Atalanta.

If Atalanta can beat Liverpool, one of most two favorite candidates for Europa League title, they can beat any team in Europa League. Marseille are not as strong as Liverpool and they can lose to Atalanta but it's not math like if Atalanta can win big against Liverpool, they can win big against Marseille. Football is not mathematically combination like this.

In as much as it seems as though Leverkusen has some sort of magic that gives them repeated victory over their opponents. They're very good this season no doubt, they've proven themselves  countless times, but underestimating a team is what will cost then their deserved tittles if they try it. Firstly, their game with Roma isn't over until after the final whistle of the match regardless of their two goals advantage. Roma will be there to fight to death for a chance to feature in the finals. They were better in the last match, they should play harder in the return leg as that match would be tougher than the first leg.

Atlanta isn't a team to joke with. Liverpool can relate to the effect of underestimating them. It cost them their Europa league journey. I'm rooting for Leverkusen, but they should be more  cautious now cos any errors would be very costly.

Despite the rule of the away goals productivity is not there anymore, playing at home in second leg is still an advantage, because the home team knows the exact target and can have full preparation. Mathematically, the chance is equal for either team, but hypothetically, I think Atalanta have a slight better chance to win the game and reach the final. They have a stable performances in their journey to reach this semi-final, and they were able to beat tougher teams in knock out stage.

Atalanta also have a better experience in european competition in the last few seasons, because they played Champions League seasons ago. Marseille is a big team from Ligue 1, but they rarely progressed the group phase when they play in european competition. With their tactical display and style of football, I think Atalanta is favorite to win the game and reach the final.

I believe the semifinal match will be between Atalanta vs Leverkusen. Atalanta will play as hosts so they will have the advantage. They also have an extraordinary mentality and with the support of the supporters I am sure Atalanta will beat Marseille. On the other hand, Leverkusen has confirmed one step to the final. A 2-0 win is important for them because winning 2 goals can make them play more calmly. But the problem is that Leverkusen has another pressure, namely how to maintain their unbeaten record and become the first team in history to end a season unbeaten in any competition in a single season.

Judging by how hard Bayer plays even without tournament motivation (victory over Eintracht Frankfurt 5-1) and how things are going in Serie A, is it possible to assume that in the return game between Bayer and Roma we will see something like 3-0? I will be very surprised if DeRossi takes the main squad to Leverkusen, knowing that in two days there will be a decisive game with Atalanta that will determine the outcome of the entire season. There is no chance in the game with Bayer and this tournament must be sacrificed.

That's true, the second leg match will be a life and death match for Leverkusen and Roma, but I think Xabi fleet will win again easily, and Roma will find it difficult to overcome the 2 goal deficit. However, it won't be easy, Xabi must remain humble and not let his guard down. Liverpool elimination by Atalanta is certainly a reference, where Xabi must remain alert to their future opponents.

For now, Xabi can shift all his focus to the Europa League, where the competition in the Bundesliga is over, while the DFB Pokal Final will be their last match of the season. Therefore, Xabi will not be too bothered about determining the starting XI, he will field his best squad in the Europa League, the other two trophies are getting closer to Leverkusen.

I am not sure how it will go, I still think that Atalanta will do better because their path here has been harder and it feels like we are talking about something incredible with their Liverpool win, nobody expected that and they somehow managed to do it, which is amazing achievement if you ask me and I believe that they must be super happy with what they have.

I get that it is not a huge deal for Atalanta if they end up losing here, because it only matters if they keep on winning. To be fair, in the end whoever comes out as the winner, we are going to see Leverkusen just end up being the winner in the end, they are just way too good and Roma can't hold them, and neither of these two teams will be able to win against them at the finals neither, it is just very unlikely.

Whenever any team is going into the second leg without any advantage, I mean the score of the first leg was a draw, I started to think that every team has an equal chance. Especially in the semifinal of any competition. I think that is the case also in this second leg as well in the Europa League. Both of them are going to have equal chances in my opinion.

Of course, one team might be better compared to the other. But I think at the end of the day it all comes down to which player is able to perform well enough on that given day. But it is true that we have seen a lot of players perform pretty badly on big stages. And I don’t think Karius is the only example of that. Let’s just hope that players are not going to make those kinds of mistakes and it is going to be a competitive match.

Atalanta was in the good shape because since beated by Liverpool on quarterfinal matches Atalanta was through an 4 matches in all competitions and they still unbeated from those matches and besides that during this season since group stages in this competition Atalanta was very strong because only Liverpool who able to beat them so i didn't surprised why the bookmakers placed them as the favourite because Atalanta have good chances to beat Marseille

Marseille under new manager is still unstable because although recently they can able to return to the winning ways at Ligue 1 but there is no guarantee they can playing consistent and since knock out stages while playing for away matches Marseille has poor records because they were still unable to win at their opponents home ground so this makes me confident Atalanta can being an the winner of this match later and about the scores probably Atalanta will win with narrow scores 1-0 or 2-1 however about the betting option i think the odds for Atalanta win is quite decent to bets
