For Atalanta vs Marseille, Atalanta is surely the favorite team to win the match. Moreover, the next match will be in Atalanta home. I guess Atalanta will score many goals in their home. They must try to score as quick as possible in the first half of the match in Leg 2.

However, if the result is that the two teams play again in a draw then we will see the match last even longer. I mean it could go to extra time or a penalty shootout and in that way it's the mental health of the players that will be at stake. To be honest I didn't want to see it through to 90 minutes and it would have been better if everything had been done quicker.

Atalanta really has the advantage and I think if they can lead on aggregate by 2 goals or more then it's over for Marseille to hope to advance to the European league final. Anyway, I am also favorites for Atalanta to advance to the final and I will bet on them then.
Atalanta could indeed be the favorite because they will host the match. But it is possible that the match will be fierce and end in extra time or a penalty shootout could also occur. Because we all know that Marseille is also a very persistent team. And definitely won't be defeated easily. I might also prefer the fight to end sooner. And I also prefer one of the teams to have won in the normal time, namely 90 minutes. Because if you enter extra time or even a penalty shootout then it feels like the result will be based on luck alone. And I am always dissatisfied with such results.
remembering how Atalanta beat Liverpool, of course this is a more appropriate reason why Atalanta is the favorite in this match, even though Marseille will not be easy to beat, Atalanta will also be very fierce when competing at home.
I'm not underestimating Marseille, but it's just that the depth of the squad is different and Atalanta is far superior in the upcoming match and everyone will say the same thing regarding how the Atalanta vs Marseille match will turn out.

and regarding betting on this match, in my opinion, anyone who is in doubt about this match would be better off betting on BTTS or betting on a line with lower risk to avoid the surprise of a draw and ending in penalties.
the reason I say BTTS is because it can be seen that this is entering the second leg and both teams definitely want to qualify for the final round so they will try to continue to score higher so that BTTS is the best choice.

Marseille isn't a terrible team as they have been of an average performance in the Ligue 1 which happens to be their domestic league but then I think the competition is much here so they may not be able to survive the finals if they eventually get to beat Atlanta to get to the finals because asides PSG I don't thy there's another team competitive enough in the Ligue 1 to compare Leverkusen so they definitely don't have much chance except they get lucky.
Atalanta and Marseille have similarity between their journeys of this season. Both are striving in Europe while having inconsistent performance in their respective league. Atalanta might have a slight better position in the league competing with more competitive teams. Marseille being able to reach Europa League semi-final is actually a surprise for some people, because a Ligue 1 team that didn't have a good performance in the league is rarely able to reach high stage in european competition.

It's common knowledge that Marseille is the least favorite to win Europa League trophy, but the nature of Europa League is often unpredictable where favorite teams struggle to win this trophy. Atalanta may be favorite to reach the final, but tactically it can be deceitful, because Atalanta love to play open and have offensive style, Marseille have physical tactics to disrupt their opponents.

If you look at the statistics of the two teams in their domestic league, Atalanta is slightly more consistent at the moment than Marseille, and considering that Serie A is more competitive than Ligue 1, Atalanta is more worthy of being the favorite. Especially if you remember that Atalanta managed to get rid of Liverpool in the previous quarter-finals, they should have been able to beat Marseille easily. A draw in the first leg is not bad, Atalanta can take advantage of the home match in the second leg, on paper Marseille chances are relatively low. However, whoever makes it through to the final round, they are not favorites to win, unless they have great luck to beat Leverkusen. So far no team has been able to make Leverkusen suffer defeat, their second leg match against Roma was also relatively easy because they were already 2 goals ahead from Roma, and Leverkusen vs Atalanta looks like a more ideal final.

If we refer to data and statistics, Atalanta is more favored than Marseille in the semi-final second leg which will be held at Gewiss Stadium, Atalanta's home ground. Moreover, if we refer to the odds provided by the betting exchange, Atalanta is far superior to Marseille. especially if we refer to the Atalanta vs Liverpool match, it is also based on the statistics of the two teams in their respective competitions. As you said, Atalanta should be able to take advantage of the momentum of the match at home by overthrowing Marseille. But in football it's not just about data and statistics, in fact it is the semifinal match that determines the final result. Moreover, the first leg of the match ended in a draw at Marseille headquarters. Well, Marseille is a little unique after being handled by Jean-Louis. Maybe, Marseille will give a surprise in the semifinal match later. So, let's just wait for the winner in this match.

For Leverkusen the same as Atalanta, even though they were ahead in the first leg with an aggregate of 0-2. Perhaps, AS Roma played a different performance than the first leg. whether it's strategy, tactics and even patterns. although, on paper Leverkusen is far superior. I won't assume much for now, after all the second leg of the semi-final match still has a time break. At the very least, every coach, especially those who are not particularly favored, will try to ensure that their team does their job very well.

If you can remember in the beginning of the season during the group stage was when majority of football fans here said that Leverkusen a dnd Liverpool are favorite to win the competition, this shows that Leverkusen is really worth it after all their unbeaten match that they have played so far.

Roma is still struggling with their matches and that makes it difficult for them to be able to win Leverkusen in the second leg away from home. Leverkusen will also be victorious in the finals against whoever qualifies between Marseille and Atalanta.
This is very correct Liverpool and Leverkusen from group stage were very awesome with their performance and were doing well too, they actually got to the point where both team stayed unbeaten till almost the end of the group stage but then Liverpool later lost a game before the end of the group stage and it was actually when they were trying to rest players for their premier league game because they had already qualifed for the next round of the league.

Leverkusen was the only team that stayed unbeaten even till this point in time in the Europa and they have so far been of a very brilliant performance such that I can express some certainty on them in the fact that they can be able to win Rima and make it to the finals especially in the fact that they will be playing from home in the next leg, they are aswell going to possibly winning the trophy because neither Atlanta or Marseille is looking tough enough to be a barrier with Liverpool Atlanta was just lucky and took good advantage of the situations which brought them this far.

Everyone sees Leverkusen as favorites right now as they have an emphatic win against AS Roma. Bayer Leverkusen is completely unstoppable this year. They are playing great and Xabi can make great tactical touches to the game. His ability to read the game is amazing. I think of him in the future with Real Madrid. After Ancelotti, I think he can be the coach of Real Madrid.
Leverkusen are favorite winner in the semi finals and for the Europa League title too. For potential opponent in the final match, Atalanta or Marseille, I see Leverkusen are stronger than these teams and they have big chance to lift the trophy if they appear in the final match, which I believe they will.

With two goals for difference from the first semi final, Leverkusen in their normal match, will be able to secure it and go to the final. Because they did not have any loss in this season, if they maintain it next week, they will appear in the final, not Roma. Roma can beat Leverkusen but  maybe with only one goal difference, not two.
There is no doubt that it is very likely that Leverkusen can win the Europa League title this season because they were only expected to have difficulties in the semifinal match against Roma, but in reality Leverkusen managed to win in the first leg at AS Roma's home ground so that in the second leg they will play at The home ground means the Leverkusen team will be quite comfortable and in fact I think they will win the game again to make a much bigger Agg.

Against Atalanta or Marseille in the final, I also don't think it will be a difficult opponent for Leverkusen, indeed the final match will be different, let alone the Europa League final match, but realistically, Leverkusen's strength is much stronger than Atalanta or Marseille, so if there are no big surprises then Leverkusen will win the title this season without any significant difficulties.

This will be particularly interesting to watch, as they could set a record for a winless streak and go through the season without a single defeat at all, moreover collecting all the trophies they can at the moment. They have only 2 games left in the Bundesliga and they will certainly not lose them, the opponents are not the strongest. But the Europa League will be very interesting to watch

Marseille were held to a 1-1 home draw by Atalanta in a hard-fought Europa League semi-final, first-leg tie in France. Gianluca Scamacca who put the visitors ahead after 11 minutes, 16th goal in all competitions this season. Chancel Mbemba equalised for Marseille nine minutes later with a superb long-range strike. Marseille will travel to Bergamo for the second leg next Thursday. The winners will meet either Roma or Bayer Leverkusen in the final on 22 May in Dublin.

It means that, europa is definitely way too small for them, if they are good enough to maybe win UCL, then they are definitely good enough to beat anyone at Europa as well, they are just that good. It would be a HUGE shock to the world if they lose here.
The process must still be taken because after all the Europa League is the appropriate thing for now so they have to try to get through it before finally moving on to bigger competitions. Champions League competition for Leverkusen now is feasible but being there is not easy because the level is also higher so in this case they have to try harder if in the end they want to be in a worthy place in the Champions League because after all we cannot forget one thing here, namely the Champions league is a place of champions so that a club of Leverkusen's caliber with an unbeaten record at this time can be very difficult to compete.

It is undeniable that Leverkusen are playing very well right now but next season there is no guarantee that they will do the same if they are too complacent. We can see many examples here such as Napoli in Serie A or maybe Newcastle in the EPL so they still have to continue to work hard from now on because maintaining is more difficult than pursuing an achievement.

Exactly, at the moment Leverkusen, besides never having lost, plays on the wings of enthusiasm and this is the fortune of this club, but nobody can know what will happen next year. Honestly, I am curious to see how they will perform next year in the Champions League, measuring themselves against high-calibre teams is very different from those they have faced so far in the Europa League, although many teams are also very strong in the Europa League. We will see how far Leverkusen can hold out.

I agree with you on this, to be honest I don't think Roma can beat their opponent in the next match. Leverkusen is playing really well this year, they have a great advantage over their opponents. That's why the result of the Rome match is clear, and the next match will be more exciting for me. After Atalanta beat Liverpool, I think they showed that they are a great candidate for this championship. Marseille looks a little weaker Smiley
I also think the same. It is only a small chance that Roma may defeat Leverkusen in Leg 2. Leverkusen plays stronger toward the end of the season, they never show that they are decreasing their performance. The players of Leverkusen still have good motivation to win each remaining match because they expect to win all the trophies in each competition they follow this season. Meanwhile AS Roma, this team showed a small decrease of their performance. The failed to get full points in some matches in Serie A. This is not a good sign for the match against Leverkusen.

Since the next match will be in Leverkusen home, I believe Leverkusen will play with a higher motivation. They are almost reaching the final round and almost achieve the trophy of Europa league. Of course, the players will play all out, they won't let AS Roma to steal the chance of winning the trophy of UEL this season.

For Atalanta vs Marseille, Atalanta is surely the favorite team to win the match. Moreover, the next match will be in Atalanta home. I guess Atalanta will score many goals in their home. They must try to score as quick as possible in the first half of the match in Leg 2.

Bayer Leverkusen put one foot in the Europa League final as Florian Wirtz and Robert Andrich scored in 2-0 semi-final first-leg win over Roma at the Stadio Olimpico. Bayer Leverkusen side got an advantage in the first leg of the round at away. The second leg will be held at BayArena next Thursday. Leverkusen's unbeaten run for 2023-24 stands at 47 games across all competitions (39 wins, eight draws).
Because Liverpool failure certainly makes Bayer Leverkusen doesn't seem to have strong competitors in the race for the Europa League trophy this time, because even though the teams in the semifinals are also quite good. But still, the reality is that Bayer Leverkusen at this moment is really at a different level, so it is difficult to stop Bayer Leverkusen's streak of good results at this moment. After all, even though AS Roma has also succeeded in improving its performance and quality since the appointment of De Rossi as AS Roma head coach, but the reality is that AS Roma still failed in the first leg even though AS Roma played at home. With factors like that, I personally am really confident and will not doubt the good chance that Bayer Leverkusen has this season to win lots of trophies.
I completely understand the excitement surrounding Leverkusen at the moment. And that run of not losing in ANYTHING is no joke. They're on a whole new level this season. Another team is having a hard time reaching the crazy high bar they set. There are teams like Roma that are getting back on track, but they still aren't playing as hard as Leverkusen. It's really possible for Leverkusen to win the Europa League because of how well they work together and how often they win. They've worked hard all season, so it feels right

With Bayer Leverkusen's win today at Eintracht Frankfurt, they've now gone 48 games in all competition without conceding a defeat a feat that's helped them equal Benfica's record as the European club with the longest unbeaten streak in all competitions. Xabi Alonso's men without doubt is currently one of the best teams in Europe at the moment but the interesting thing about this their impressive run is that Bayer Leverkusen isn't even planning on slowing down with their impressive performances.
Last week in their UEFA Europa League semi final game against AS Roma, the the German champions were able to grab an away victory without even conceding a goal and will now have Italian club in the second leg of that tie this week Thursday. Bayer Leverkusen only needs to avoid any defeat with more than a goal margin in that game to reach the final of the competition. I think it's very safe to say that Bayer Leverkusen are going to play in the final of the UEFA Europa League competition

Improvement is always a must to face a competition, regardless they have proven to be the the best. Xabi Alonso has to be aware of the best team being on everyone's eyes. Next season, Every team will see Leverkusen as a team to beat with the best efforts, this will make the next season campaign for next season harder than this season.

The fact that they will play in Champions League is a big consideration to strengthen to squad. They will be lucky if no player to have a move to other club, but they will still need to sign some new good players for next season campaign. Playing in champions League is not as easy as playing in Europa League, they will have to play against many strong teams. Any loss can affect their morale that could have impact on their performances in the league.
Bayern Leverkusen have mow gotten themselves in the history books as they have been able to win their first ever Bundesliga title. The win over Werder Bremen was enough to hell them seal up their place in first place and get them the trophy. Their run to this win of the title has been one that’s been quite fascinating especially as they haven’t recorded any loss in their way up till this moment and also none across all competitions. This performance is real top notch and as such you can imagine how much efforts the boys and Xabi Alonso have put in to the success of this.

Alonso has very much been impressive in his performances for Leverkusen. He's been watched and observed and in all his games, he's proven to present an outstanding and formidable team. He's just new in the business but yet still has set up a formidable team. I really won't be surprised if he's beckoned up on by bigger clubs to show his abilities. He's proven to be worthy to handle well any team presented to him and definitely I believe he can do well if another team is put in his care. Maybe his strategies work well for him and can still work well with another team. With Leverkusen, he's done well and he's working towards an aim for the club. He's been watched closely to see how well he'd be able to keep up with the games for the team and see how well he can uphold against their biggest threat in the Bundesliga.

He's just been able to prove himself worthy to take on a higher ranked club. His good at what he's done so far even with a less productive squad as Leverkusen, now one would imagine how enormous he'd achieve with a productive squad with higher player capacity and quality. He's another one amongst many players turn coach that did well both in the pitch and in the manager's box too. I really won't be surprised if he's beckoned up on by bigger clubs to show his abilities.

Atalanta got a slight advantage after they will play as hosts in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final against Marseille. In the first leg they succeeded in holding Marseille to a draw at their own headquarters with a score of 1-1, this was valuable capital for them to be able to be in the final, because now the pressure is on Marseille's side after they will have guest status in the match.

Maybe in the first leg Marseille played a little better than Atalanta, but I can understand that because Marseille played at home. However, Atalanta were actually able to press first and they were even able to take the lead in the 11th minute, before finally 9 minutes later Marseille were able to equalize so that the score ended in a draw and lasted until the end. What percentage of chances do you think Atalanta and Marseille have in the second leg? in my opinion 60/40 is the chance of these two clubs.

This is a whole new level of play, and now that Liverpool is out, the battle is really fierce. Roma is a good team, but lets be honest: Leverkusen has been the best team this season. As of now, they havent lost a game and are brutal on the field. Their depth makes them scary from every angle. I think they'll win the Europa League. Everything about them is strong, but what makes them really scary is how focused and determined they are. I can see them going in the right direction, and I dont see anyone blocking them.
It is true that Leverkusen is unmatched and their level of quality is nowhere to be found in all other teams, we just need to realize that we can't really have Leverkusen be any better, they are at the very top right now. If they were playing at UCL right now at semi finals, I would say that they have a chance to beat all the teams there too, depending on who you are replacing them with, they have already managed to beat Dortmund and Bayern, and I think they would have a good chance against PSG as well.

It means that, europa is definitely way too small for them, if they are good enough to maybe win UCL, then they are definitely good enough to beat anyone at Europa as well, they are just that good. It would be a HUGE shock to the world if they lose here.

You are 100% right about Leverkusen.
I also doubt that the remaining teams in the semifinals will be a serious obstacle for Leverkusen in winning the Europa League trophy this season. Because Roma will definitely not be able to turn their situation around in the second leg, and one of the teams that will enter the final will not necessarily be able to withstand the abilities that Bayer Leverkusen has this season. Because I also think that there are no more serious contenders for the Europa League title this season except for Leverkusen who will indeed be quite likely to win the title this season.
Yes the chance of AS Roma to be able to reverse the situation in the second leg is quite small, and even I see they are likely to be losing again to Leverkusen. AS Roma's first leg is the host and they must lose, in this second leg they will be guests and here we can already see how their chances of this match.
Assuming we will see Leverkusen in the final round, the opponent they will face is Atalanta or Marseille, and from the two teams I don't see a team that is better than Leverkusen, so Xabi Alonso's troops are really in the upper wind now. It is unfortunate if they have to fail with their big chances. They also had the opportunity to win Treble Winner, one of which was by winning in the European League. I think they will complete their mission this season without any obstacles, and they have shown it when they managed to become champions in the Bundesliga.

You are 100% right about Leverkusen.
De Rossi's vision and mission to achieve a top four finish in the domestic league is actually more than enough because since Mourinho left, As Roma has performed very well in the domestic league, but unfortunately the challenge is tough, they play in the UEL and have to face Xabi Alonso's team, Leverkusen, who have High determination to be able to win the UEL title this season also because they have high confidence to be able to get a treble winner this season, I also think that As Roma is unlikely to succeed in beating Leverkusen in the second leg.

I think De Rossi must be able to show his team's best in the second leg match to perform optimally so that they can win even though it looks difficult, I'm sure this is a tough job even if it fails. I don't think De Rossi has completely failed because in my opinion he has made As Roma a better and rising from adversity is already good, at least they can focus on catching up and shifting Bologna in 4th place in the domestic league, I think As Roma must catch up and finish in the top four to get a UCL ticket next season because they have that opportunity where Bologna hasn't appeared consistent lately.
