There are only four team and on paper the only one who has the best chance and performance is Leverkusen so I not sure Atalanta and Roma will be able to apply pressure that really makes things difficult for Leverkusen.
For Roma, it is clear that they will be Leverkusen opponents in this semifinal, but even though Roma performed quite well in Serie A, that will never guarantee that they can play well in the Europa League.
In this semifinal, it is clear that Leverkusen is the favorite and Leverkusen is the team that can make this European League theirs, Roma, Atalanta and Marseille are just teams with quality that is still below Leverkusen.

Look, Leverkusen has received lot of praise and is also acknowledged by everyone that they are strong team, even this season they have title award for their achievements.
I sure Xabi won't let it all go away quickly, he will definitely be able to bring Leverkusen to much better start this season.
We have just 5 more matches left in this season while we are having now all four-best teams left in this competition which are going to give their best in remaining games which will allow them to have won the title even things are clearly favouring Bayer Leverkusen for having win but still we can't predict about few things with Atlanta and Roma both are doing good, and we are also having now Marseille which is not strong enough as we have them in the Past, but they can also give surprise which will be allowed them to have final of this event.

Roma and Bayer Leverkusen are already having matches in last season which was won by Roma, but now we have good changes in teams with improvement of quality is also matter so can Bayer Leverkusen keep their unbeaten record, or we are going to have Roma is jumping for another final which could be also interesting.

But, now they need to keep things at this level because usually we are having problems for the team which have no strong finances after winning titles mostly players leave, and they lost quality and consistency like we have in Napoli and few other teams hopefully Bayer Leverkusen will do better in this season about this all.

I believe that Leverkusen's project with Xavi Alonso will be better than Napoli's was
Obviously it's difficult for a team that has been so good for one season to maintain the same run for longer, even for more traditional teams it's difficult to maintain such a run
Leverkusen will be playing in the Champions League next season, so it's an excellent reason for them to keep up the good work

Now just talking about the Europa League, I remembered that in the 23 season there was the same semi-final between Leverkusen and Roma and it was Roma who reached the final, after 1x0 and then 0x0
So it's not an opponent to be underestimated and think that Leverkusen will easily win the title

I think this can give an answer for you guys,
I mean positive results as Leverkusen did is Unbeaten records. of course Roma show improvement after De Rossi become coach, but still the confidence of players is better on Leverkusen side. I didn't say Roma is underperform l, just Leverkusen is amazing at the moment. If Roma win the match, 2nd leg will be more interesting, right?
IMHO Leverkusen and Roma both have a chance to win the match. I mean if you look at their previous matches in the knockout round they haven't made a score that is much different from their opponent. They won 2-0 and then drew 1-1. They also drew 2-2 with Qarabag then won 3-2 in the second leg. I see Leverkusen will play aggressively but it will ignore their defense. On the other hand AS Roma also had the same style of play but they had Brighton 4-0. I think this match will be interesting and which team is able to accommodate their defense will be able to win this match.

Until now Bayer Leverkusen play 30 matches with 25 won and 5 draws and this is their first title in 100 years but as they won this is historical achievement because things like these never usually happen, but they have done now they are having semifinal of the UEFA Europa League against Roma which is surely going to be challenging even they are favourite to win and go through for the final but still things are not easy as we are talking here because we are having good improvement in Roma after sacking of José Mourinho.

But, now they need to keep things at this level because usually we are having problems for the team which have no strong finances after winning titles mostly players leave, and they lost quality and consistency like we have in Napoli and few other teams hopefully Bayer Leverkusen will do better in this season about this all.
Talking about Leverkusen this season is indeed very interesting to discuss. Moreover, now they have managed to become champions in the Bundesliga earlier and maybe that is a new record there. Or it's been a long time since there has been a team that can dominate as extraordinary as Leverkusen in the Bundesliga. Even Bayern, which usually always wins there, but this season they had to give up the title and continue to be won by Leverkusen. Even Bayern couldn't beat Leverkusen throughout this season in the Bundesliga. This shows that Leverkusen does have very good quality this season. But his worries were always about finances. As you said, clubs that are strong this season could lose some of their top players in the transfer market and this will make the club weaker again in the next season. And yes, Napoli is an example we can take. And another one from the Premier League, namely Brighton, which also experienced a setback after several of their players left. Leverkusen must retain their best players. Because Xabi Alonso will need it to play in the UCL next season. And in the European League currently Leverkusen's opportunities are very big. They are one step closer to the final. but their opponent, namely Roma, is very difficult to beat.

I know a few day/weeks back when Bayern Leverkusen cant beat in a easy way the qarabag team they are not gonna be the winners of this tournament, but well that aged like shit after we see Liverpool going out of the tournament, and plus we are seeing Leverkusen with a ton of luck on their side, man they always score a draw or a winner in the last minutes of the games, like yesterday against Dortmund.

I think it's not about luck, it's about the ability to go all the way, they have the will to win, that's all, that's why they haven't lost since last May. If they finish the season without losing a single game, they will repeat Arsenal's history of 2003/2004 when they didn't lose a single game in their league. Honestly I can't imagine what their chances are against Roma, they have been doing quite well this season in Serie A, I think it will be a very difficult match for both teams
Yeah man is clearly they have a huge ammount of ability plus good mental strenght but when you do it that everytime and always the game ended in your favour clearly you are having luck on your side, and luck is a key factor in all the life you need it.

But well lets see how much of their ability and luck had in their pockets for this last run.

In essence, Bayer Leverkusen is always difficult to lose even though they have not been able to win all the matches this season. So it could be said that Bayer Leverkusen always managed to get points in every match, even though they didn't always get full points, Bayer Leverkusen did not go home empty-handed in all the matches they played during this season. This is what makes them so extraordinary that the performance of the Bayer Leverkusen coach has also received praise from many parties during this season.
Most of the matches they’ve played this season are mostly won matches, they only had few draws. Bayern Leverkusen have broke a record of not losing any match in all of the competitions they are participating in this season and not just the Bundesliga. Now that they’ve won the Bundesliga, they just need to continue the winning streak even when it gets harder for them at some point. They’ve also qualified for the semifinals of the Europa League, they have three more matches to play to win the finals if it’ll end in their favour while they also have to play in DFB-Pokal final match to triumph there also.

This weekend, Leverkusen would still definitely maintain their unbeaten track record and 99.9% still uphold this record in the domestic league till the season runs out and for their UEL race, the chances to maintain the records are still feasible. Truthfully, so far this season, Leverkusen have been remarkable and they're a team that the football community is proud of.
They have shown their ability to be an unbeatable team this season both in the domestic league and also in European leagues such as UEL, so far they are still maintaining that, it is not easy to maintain consistency to win or draw against all their opponents, ahead The match against As Roma in the UEL semi-finals is of course a complicated challenge for Leverkusen because since being coached by De Rossi they have really risen from adversity, but it is also impossible for As Roma to break Leverkusen's record as long as they continue to maintain their consistency.

Leverkusen has so far been quite smart in getting a draw, it seems like yesterday when against Dortmund in the domestic league they played with a clear draw, that will make As Roma feel a little less confident seeing how Leverkusen always has a way to balance the game or win the game, Leverkusen seems don't really want to experience defeat and look like they will continue to maintain their record until they become champions in UEL. I want to see how Xabi Alonso and De Rossi will manage their team in this UEL semi-final match. It looks like it will be interesting to watch, especially betting on this match which will probably take place with high tension.

Leverkusen's win away from home over Dortmund last weekend only proved how stunning they've vowed to be till the last game this season. The fans for one bit didn't loose faith in them and they did well to ensure that the confidence still stands. I am personally proud of how that feat has been attained by them.
Leverkusen's qualification to the semi finals of this season's UEL was also historic as they kept their unbeaten record still in play after drawing to West ham.

This season they've been an undaunted team and they really have all it takes to finish the season with the unbeaten record intact and two trophies in their shelf. Their next UEL opponent is competitive but it's not really a big deal for them based on the fact that they have gained enough confidence and have even being in tougher encounters which they've at thesame time comfortably come out from victoriously. Roma themselves know that they won't be up for a joke game in the semi finals stage.

We all thought UEL would be fair enough to make an encounter between Leverkusen and Liverpool but we also forgot that football can't always be as it seems as Liverpool, the big team who were projected to stay longer in tbe contest were eliminated by a smaller team who really stands little chance to bring down Leverkusen if peradventure they get to go up against each other in the final game.

This weekend, Leverkusen would still definitely maintain their unbeaten track record and 99.9% still uphold this record in the domestic league till the season runs out and for their UEL race, the chances to maintain the records are still feasible. Check out Bayer's games with Karabakh in the group stage, things are not always easy, but the most important thing is the final result and Bayer's is perfect.
As for luck, it has nothing to do with Bayer’s results at all - they play until the end and it is not surprising that in the last minutes they achieve a result in their favor. I think that many teams, after winning the tournament, would not have spent their energy like Bayer yesterday (against an overly motivated Borussia) and would not have been able to save the game in the last minute. Therefore, Bayer’s results are entirely their merit.
Qarabag is actually a weak team, but surprisingly enough at that time Leverkusen had difficulty winning and even that happened in the two legs of the match they played, but luckily for Leverkusen to win the game in the end made Leverkusen able to reach the semi-finals like now, when Leverkusen beat Qarabag, I think Leverkusen will struggle in the Europa League but in fact they continue to be able to maintain an unbeaten record not only in bundesliga but transmitted it in the Europa League, in luck of course we can't deny it when we see how Leverkusen are able to make an incredible comeback but I think it can also be said to be the result of hard work and also the unyielding mentality they have always had.

I quite salute Leverkusen at the moment, because they are able to remain stable and maintain the performance of playing while still in 3 different competitions without being beaten and I think it will be very difficult for any team to do during this time, against Roma, of course it will be a test for Alonso to be able to maintain his team mentality and at this stage of course their have to be ready to win the trophy although it may not be easy.

Bayer Leverkusen have a nice record of not losing successive matches in a single attempt and they are increasing this gap. In Bundesliga match against Borussia Dortmund, it was the mistake of Dortmund to lose since Bayer Leverkusen have nothing left to win in Bundesliga since they already lift the trophy!
In Europa League, even though Liverpool left the race, but there is still Roma and Atalanta that could be annoying and threatening. Anyway, Bayer Leverkusen have this title to add to Bundesliga one this season.

The Bundesliga have not been easy on the ends of most elite teams, we're talking about the previous champion, Bayern Munich, they struggle in matches and even lost against the competitive rival for the title. Bayer Leverkusen have become Bundesliga champion with unbeaten records. They've strive for winnings in their games this season and Xabi Alonso have watch his team deliver executive tasks for the improvement and development of the club.

Roma under Mourinho are a tough nut to crack. Last season, even with a weaker Leverkusen, they secured a win. This time around, with a potentially stronger Roma defense, it will be interesting to see how they cope with the remarkable Alonso's side. Leverkusen being improved under Xabi Alonso makes their attack a force to be reckoned with. De Rossi will have his work cut out for him containing their threats.
Roma's performance this season is indeed better now than when under Mourinho at the start of the season. It seems that this also really affects the mentality and solidity of the players. What's more, so far, Roma's performance in the European league has been quite consistent. However, when compared with Leverkusen, never mind, Leverkusen under Xabi is definitely better prepared. Under these conditions, Xabi usually arranges quite different lineups. Either he will return to make their main players blend in in the second half or something else. What is clear is that, basically, Xabi really understands the conditions in Roma's game, especially at the Roma stadium. So, Leverkusen really has to act more aggressively and accurately in the next match.

Having come into Thursday's second leg trailing 2-1, Marseille. Marseille were 4-2 winners in a penalty shoot-out against Benfica following 1-0 victory in a tie that finished 2-2 on aggregate. So Marseille are through to the Europa League semi-finals at the Stade Velodrome. The French side will take on Atalanta in the last four. Veretout who gets the nod for game-high five key passes, was the player of the match in my opinion.

Considering he managed to make this team have an unbeaten season, thinking that their first loss would come from Roma makes no sense to me at all. I am not saying that Roma is a bad team, they are a decent team and they deserved to be here, btu that doesn't mean that Leverkusen is a team that would lose to them, I am sure that they will win the game, I do not see how they would lose. That is why I believe that we are going to end up with a loss without a doubt, we should consider that as a reality.

I feel like we should just consider the situation changing, and that is why we should be considering the situation to be sensitive as well. I believe that Leverkusen will end up with a win, and it will not be that difficult at all.

I am undecided about this one actually. Roma is strong enough to beat Leverkusen. Compare Roma from last season to this season and last season Roma was able to beat Leverkusen despite this overwhelming pressure from Leverkusen. Both games were all about Leverkusen and yet Roma played their game and made it to the next round despite having a single shot in the second game (and that one wasn't even on target IIRC).

I think Leverkusen is ahead in this game, but still. Winning against Roma in Rome is not trivial. The last Bundesliga game could have ended in a loss if it wasn't for the goal in minute 97'.

In Leverkusen I doubt that Roma has a big chance, but in their home stadium I expect they will give Leverkusen a hard time.

Xabi Alonso managed to make the impossible happen for Leverkusen so far and we can see how Xabi Alonso was able to shape the framework of his team strategy quite well only with academy players and Outcast from other clubs, Xabi Alonso's expertise in seeing the needs of the team and player talent certainly makes Leverkusen does not need to spend a lot of money to form a strong team like Leverkusen today,  I think now Alonso's achievements in the Bundesliga are more perfect after they won the title without defeat.

At the moment of course Leverkusen wants to continue this positive trend in the Europa League, the journey in the Europa League is only a few steps away for Alonso to be able to win the trophy also without defeat, so I think Roma will be a tough opponent for them in the semi-finals later because Roma's performance is also starting to improve drastically, this season will be the initial test for Alonso in bringing Leverkusen glory in the Europa League,  Because next season they will be faced with a more difficult challenge in the Champions League, I think if Alonso is able to get out of every pressure and be able to repeat the glory of Leverkusen next season of course he deserves to be juxtaposed with the coachs you mentioned.

Previously, these two teams met in the Europa League semifinal match last season. Leverkusen failed and Roma advanced to the final round, but the difference is that AS Roma is now being handled by another coach, not Jose Mourinho. yeah, as I said in the previous post.

It was a really close matchup yeah. Leverkusen weren't this strong in the previous season and not much time passed since Xabi Alonso came as well. Roma still managed to eliminate them by only a score like 1-0 though. That was definitely Mourinho affect.  Tongue  He likes to focus on securing a score advantage to the end even if it is 1-0.

This time Roma and Leverkusen both are stronger but we must admit that Leverkusen are at just another level.  Smiley  I don't think De Rossi will be able to stop this powerful Leverkusen. But the first leg is in Rome so maybe a draw would be seen. Or even a win by one goal?  Grin  I'm curious about whether Roma will be the first team to make Leverkusen feel the emotions of getting a loss.

This time around, with a potentially stronger Roma defense, it will be interesting to see how they cope with the remarkable Alonso's side. Leverkusen being improved under Xabi Alonso makes their attack a force to be reckoned with. De Rossi will have his work cut out for him containing their threats.

The Stadio Olimpico will be rocking for Roma that will be giving them a significant edge. Leverkusen may be the more offensive team, but Roma's defensive organization and home crowd is ready under the development of De Rossi. Any team win with small goals margin or a draw wouldn't be surprising. This first leg is crucial, but it's far too early to say Leverkusen will lose. It will be fascinating to see how both teams under the guidance of young coaches adapt and approach the second leg.
