Yes, this Italian duo will be a surprise for Leverkusen and Liverpool, who are currently favorites to win the UEL trophy. What's interesting to watch is As Roma, since being coached by De Rossi, As Roma has always scored a goal in every match. As Roma's goal productivity can be said to have increased compared to when they were coached by the previous coach.

However, it feels like As Roma's journey to become a challenger for the UEL trophy is still difficult because until now De Rossi has not proven capable of beating strong teams in either the domestic league or the UEL league. The reason is that in the UEL this season Brighton didn't play too well, in the group phase you could say Brighton got lucky because of Ajax's poor performance at the start of the season, practically Brighton's only big rival was Marseille, Brighton even lost to AEK Athens. So in other words, As Roma's ability to beat Brighton is nothing special. De Rossi still has a lot to prove for AS Roma.

I was not surprised with what Liverpool did to Prague because, they are capable to achieve all those goals they achieved from the game and this is a sign that Liverpool will try their best to be among the teams that will drag the trophy in the final.

I never knew that Marseille can play like the way they play yesterday to scored all those goals because, they didn't allow Villarreal to secure a single goal from the game and they played the game well from the beginning till the end to make other teams to be aware of them in their next games.

Ac Milan only need to get a draw in the second leg later to ensure their chances, even though they play at
Slavia home in the second leg later but I think it will not be difficult for Milan to maintain their victory, besides Ac Milan, certainly Roma has indeed held a ticket to the top 8, because to turn things around seems to be very difficult for Brighton even though they play at home later,  the aggregate of 4 goals is of course quite surprising especially we know that Brighton is a solid team when playing in Europe.

From this week Europa League match, I think the final result of the Leverkusen game was the most surprising because no one predicted if Leverkusen could get a draw in the first leg after the toughness shown by them this season, besides that the Roma match was really beyond my expectations, before the game started, I was pretty sure Brighton would be able to conquer Roma easily,  but it turns out that De Rossi is actually able to improve Roma performance not only in the league, but also in the Europa League, now they are strong enough and even able to embarrass the current level of De Zerbi experienced coach.

I was surprised to see that Bayern Leverkusen later picked up and did the needful because, at first, I thought they were weak and could not perform as well as people thought they would, so when I saw them equalize the games, I now came back and continued watching the game because it was an embrace to see that a weak team like Quarabarg beat Bayern Leverkusen. Bayern Leverkusen performance was very impressive. Everything was going well for them in that match. However, there is something I want them to understand: sometimes if they have a game, I don't really know why they get slack before they wake up and do as expected. They should know that it may turn, and sometimes I think they should be entering with their full performance, not until their opponent first wins them.

I think nobody expect what we see yesterday, damn man, so many unexpected results, Bayern nearby to lose his invictus of the season against Qarabag, Rome demolishing Brighton 4-0, Liverpool destroying Prague 5-1 and ending the key in the first game of the leg.

And for last, Marseille destroying Villarreal 4-0 all no sense.

Not really sure about that. Who knows if acmilan and roma will be showing something different compared to when those clubs performed so garbage in the previous matches?. There is a progress made by roma under a new coach. It's playing even more structured and consistent.
It's also very often in using attacking strategy. It feels like that i was seeing leverkusen of italian version. Rossi was also one of very good midfielder in his era like xabi alonso. He was able to change the club a lot, and it was crazy when Roma destroyed Brighton four-nil in the first leg.
The second leg is gonna be a very hard game for brighton. Roma has found its best form again, and it will also be equal to the Liverpool and Leverkusen. We have some italian clubs as well. Don't forget it.

Roma showed a huge improvement in the last game against Brighton. Liverpool has a very good history in the Europa League, unlike other clubs, which were also rarely won this trophy. Acmilan also has a good history in the Europa League. Unable to win against qarabag is something that needs to be criticized.
Leverkusen showed poor performance in that game, and it was also making the fans, especially bettors, feel so damn bad about it. The draw is good for the second leg which will happen at leverkusen's home but bettors were losing their bets.

Bayern Leverkusen did jump back into the game to share points and it was unexpected. If I'm not wrong, they won the both games they played against Qarabag during the group stage anfwon both legs, they must have learnt some lessons from that lose and made sure they made life tough for Bayern Leverkusen yesterday at home.
When they traveling to Bayern Leverkusen next week, it'll definitely be a winning game for Bayern Leverkusen as they will be well prepared for what is to come.

Ac Milan also got a good night at least having that marginal of goals can be a good backing in anticipation of the second leg of this exact fixture, I'm pretty sure of AC Milan qualifications. As for Brighton, they've now lost three consecutive game under Roberto De Zebri for the very first time.
They don't have a good chance of survival for the next round, As Roma are doing better than we thought. One team doing well in this Competition has to be Marseille, Per Emerick Aubameyang has been a good source of goal.

Leverkusen could not play as well as expected in the first match. The opponent is not a strong team, they are struggling, but we can say that the players' skills are not very high. Actually, Milan also plays very interesting football. I wouldn't be surprised if we watch them in the final, both the players are talented and the European matches are very valuable for them.
Liverpool will not make mistakes in the next match either, I do not think they will want to take risks

I have to be agreed with this all surely if Milan wants to have better results they need to be work on their strategy as in this game there were not near their best and if they keep playing like this surely they can eliminate in coming matches without any big trouble, but I am feeling they will be surely improve and having better results because without these things will be not favourable for them currently they are third in Serie A and now most chances their spot for the quarterfinal is also settled.

Slavia Prague was really near to have some good advantage but no doubt 10 against 11 was against team like AC Milan has never been easy but still they have done good work and give good resistance now hopefully things will be interested in coming game for the second leg game.

AC Milan and AS Roma will only be a temporary obstacle for Leverkusen or Liverpool in the Europa League this season, because if Leverkusen or Liverpool are able to beat AC Milan and AS Roma in the Europa League this season, of course one of them will definitely be the best in the League Europe this season. wait a minute, I didn't see Milan performance as bad in yesterday's match and it doesn't mean that Slavia Prague only competed with 10 players but Milan had difficulty scoring scores but in fact Milan managed to get 4 winning scores with a difference of 2 scores, right?

as @bitzizzix said, the reason Milan tried to attack from the side was because breaking through the middle lane would be very difficult and weakening Slavia after losing 1 player was only an attack from the side and on the one hand, this seemed like the right strategy and really suited the formation 4-2-3-1 that Milan uses adapts the attack from this formation.

AC Milan and AS Roma could be other candidates who have a chance to stop Leverkusen or Liverpool from reaching the final. AS Roma is now also a team that has experienced significant improvement after being managed by Daniel De Rossi, these two teams deserve to be considered a tough test for anyone who has the ambition to win the Europa League trophy this season. Liverpool deserves to be considered the strongest candidate among all the contestants, because it comes from the Premier League which is known as the most competitive league. Leverkusen is the most ideal team to be their opponent in the final match this season, because he has never been defeated.

The UEL round of 16 was played yesterday and the results were very impressive, we saw the two big teams in the competition strive to make a good game. Although for Qarabag, yes they were very much competitive and they did their best to hold Leverkusen to a draw but this is not a justification to their qualification unto the next phase. Big ups to them still that they were able to perform unpredictably well last night. They better in the first two goals in the game and they definitely used their host advantage very well. Leverkusen, would only have to do better in the second leg adding that they'd be the host and i believe they won't want to tarnish their records so far this season.

 So I'm very much  confident in their ability to score enough and secure the next phase ticket when they take on Qarabag in Germany. Liverpool themselves proved their worth, class and relevance by going hard to win with enough goal margins the first placed Sparta Praha. It was a well deserved win for the English side and certainly a clear ticket to the quarter finals too. This only shows how good the English and German side are this season and i must say that they are the two biggest sides this season in the UEL and it'll only be fair that the trophy goes to either of the teams.

 Liverpool at Anfield would definitely not have much work to do and Sparta Praha knows the team they're scheduled with and they've come to terms with the fact that there's definitely no hope for them. Qarabag can still try to make winning tough for Leverkusen in Germany but the German side has a history of not failing especially at their home ground. It's safe to say that both Liverpool and Leverkusen are two teams amongst a few that have been able to be consistent in performances in both the domestic league and European games.

Leverkusen is bound to have a few games like this eventually, you can't expect a team to be constantly winning everything, that doesn't really feel like a possibility in most cases. We saw them have this tough game, and it was against an unexpected opponent, but we also know that this is the same team that beat Bayern 3-0 as well, so not like they are suddenly terrible, nor does that mean second leg will still be tough for them, they will probably just have an easier game there without a trouble.

Overall, this was the fluke that was expected, each team, no matter how good they are, will have a few of those during a season, and this was theirs, now that it is out of the way, I would say they have a better shot at everything.

In fact, taking into account the fact that on March 10th Liverpool will play a super important game with City, one could assume that they would not strain themselves in this game. But even with a less than optimal lineup, they were able to beat strong (as it seemed from the games with Galatasaray) Sparta with a score that guaranteed passage to the next round and made the second match a formality.
As for Brighton, they had chances (which Adingra regularly created), but were unable to capitalize on them. Perhaps in the return game Brighton will take revenge, but they will definitely not be able to win back 4 goals.

Liverpool is the top team at the moment in Premier League so they are supposed to be the favorite for the Europa Trophy but there's also the Bundesliga Nummer Eins, Leverkusen who might be the only one competitive team for Liverpool. I don't see any other options and hope the two are not drawn to play before the finals.
Even though Leverkusen saved the humiliating defeat against Qarabag in the first leg with an equalizer on the injury, they still are a capable team. Playing on an entirely new field could sometimes be overwhelming and they'll cover of the lack of advantage on their home game.

Among the three England teams that succeeded to this round only Liverpool succeeded in winning yesterday match, and all the teams played away match, they still have hope of second leg which is going to be home game but Brighton allowed AS Roma to beat them 4-0, I only have hope for Liverpool and west ham. AS Roma have really impressed me since the coming of De Rossi, I don't expect any in second leg but winning again because Brighton are facing low performance which I will assume Brighton are out. Qarabag really show how good they are and how consistent they can be, Bayer Leverkusen were lucky yesterday if not Qarabag will end their unbeaten record in all competitions, they managed to end in draw, but still hope is not lose, second leg will determine who will escape the Round.

Regardless of what happened, a 4-2 win is a victory worth celebrating even though Milan did win against 10 players and even then they conceded 2 goals only against 10 players that did not seem too good but in the end this final score was enough to make them a little comfortable with what they had to do later in the second leg.
At least with this victory I think they are already one step better to face Leg two and enter the quarter-finals. Regardless of what they show in this match as long as they win then I'm sure they won't be too concerned about it, the most important thing right now is that they are 2 goals ahead on aggregate and they just have to find a way to make the situation even better in the second leg later because indeed for now the fact that they still have to continue to improve their performance they must realize at this time.

Other than that, I was a little disappointed with Leverkusen's result although it was satisfying to see Liverpool steamroll Prague in yesterday's match.

It's too good to be true mate for liverpool to lose against mediocre team when it was playing at home. The secondary squad has already humiliated sparta in the last game. They can do even crazy for the second leg. It will be disgraceful for the squad if they won't repeat the result from the first leg.
 
Im still imagining that leverkusen will lose at home against qarabag.  Anything can happen in the football.

It's crazy to see how rossi totally changed roma's pattern. Roma failed last season and it will pay off its mistake against sevilla last season.

In the last 2 years, teams from Italy have shown their dominance in European competitions even though no one has won in the top match, and I see that this season's Serie A competition is also almost showing the same thing in European competitions.
I agree with you by placing 3 teams from Italy at the top of your predictions. In my opinion, this is very feasible considering that the results of last night's Europa League competition were almost all wins, except for Atalanta who were held to a draw by Sporting CP.
It could be that the All Italian final will be presented in the Europa League final this season, or the Italian team will meet Liverpool or Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League final, considering that many people predict that these two teams will qualify for the final.
