Let’s not cut it down to the least of them so soon because some big teams are still in the competition and if they are yet to be eliminated, I feel the final cannot be assured to be played between Liverpool and Bayern Leverkusen just yet. They are both playing great football in the Europa League and in their respective domestic leagues too and are both occupying the first positions on their league standings. But that aside, because this is an European competition and not every team can be underrated and they could face a bigger challenge here to see themself through to the finals. Roma and Brighton are also good teams in the Europa League competition so far, I still see the potentials in this two teams and if they still remain in the competition, I won’t confidently agree that Bayern Leverkusen and Liverpool will be the teams to play in the final.

In last season we have three Serie A teams in to UEFA finals with in this season again we are having few teams which are performing impressive and have good chance for their spots into last two teams with Inter Milan is having good presence in Champions League and their three teams are in Europa League and one team is having good performance in Conference League, so things are surely positive, but they are falling at the top which is surely giving them lack of quality against top teams with their ability to win is also questionable because they are not having funds like we have in other leagues which are hurting them badly if they are able to manage this surely we can expect them to have wins in these events which will give them good confidence and booster but how things will be work its never been easy to predict because funds are important for having top quality players which are important for the win.

Not only you but we here did not expect if Roma could destroy Brighton with a score of 4-0, indeed Brighton's performance was not too good in the Premier League by occupying 10th place, but if we compare with Roma so far of course Brighton actually has the quality needed to beat Roma, but instead we see the opposite happened in the match,  By successfully defeating Brighton in the first match makes Roma more likely to qualify for the next round and it seems impossible for Brighton to score 5 goals without reply in the second match later even though playing at home to Brighton.

De Rossi who was doubtful when replacing Mourinho is now all these doubts with the victory that Roma got, I personally actually also not sure if Roma can be better when Mourinho is replaced, but slowly it turns out Rossi can bring Roma to be better than what Mourinho did before and even now Roma are also starting to compete for Champions League tickets next season after previously they were far behind,  I think with everything Roma have achieved at the moment, the roma fans trust in rossi is getting bigger and if Rossi is able to make Roma win the Europa League and ensure a place in the Champions League next season then it is very likely that De Rossi will be able to get a long-term contract from the Roma management.

I assume there are many people who were surprised with the result of the Roma - Brighton game like me. It was just a huge dominance by Roma, much more than the expectations. The odd gap for these two sides to win wasn't that big. Maybe having Joao Pedro on the field would have made things more different for Brighton in terms of scoring capability. 

On the other hand De Rossi is really doing a great job these days. The general results have been really positive since the day he took the job. If he goes on like this I think Roma board would seriously thinking of extending his contract. 

Personally, I prefer Leverkusen because their development in the domestic league is quite good, so for some reason I feel confident that Leverkusen will reach the final, at least meeting Liverpool and in the end, Leverkusen will win the UEL title this season, even though perhaps in terms of experience, Leverkusen is still relatively small. compared to Liverpool, but in terms of strength it seems Leverkusen could be a threat to other clubs in the UEL this season even though they drew with Qarabag, I believe in the second leg Leverkusen will get rid of them

Yes, it's true that Milan in the first leg showed their best game, that's why I think Milan is not a club that can be underestimated, although maybe Roma and Atalanta also played quite well, but Milan has its own style of play which the Roma and Atalanta players don't have, BTW. The second leg match against Slavia Prague at their home will of course be a difficult match, but I am sure that with the experience that Milan has, they will succeed in winning on aggregate with Slavia Prague, at least a narrow win will be enough for Milan to qualify for the next round which is possible. Milan will meet Roma and Atalanta in the quarter-finals.

Europa does seem competitive because there's presence of major top clubs there, triumphed victory are mainly for the big winnings. Defeats comes to only those inconsistent teams, I've watch closely to see the incredible form of Bayer Leverkusen and Liverpool, they're not giving up anytime soon, rather they're bringing on more tougher challenges for their oppositions this season. I'm expecting to see Liverpool vs Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League final because they're the only top clubs that have reached important phase in the league and also in their perspective league.

Why do you seem to really underestimate Milan performance? In my opinion, they perform well in that match because they were able to win it by being able to score 4 goal, yes, even though Slavia Prague were able to scored 2 goals even though they only played with 10 people, but that was not enough to bring them victory, you maybe you could say the match was bad for Milan if they lost or drew, but in fact Milan also fought hard in this match and had 2 more aggregates than Slavia Prague.

It's true that Milan can't be said to be completely impressive in the UEL, but it's too early to say that they will lose when facing Roma or Atalanta because in fact, in the domestic league, Milan is superior to them. We'll see in the second leg, if Milan meet those two team, I think Milan can still get rid of him considering they are in the same league.

Anyway, it shows that if zerbi was not as good as what people said. Qarabag played so well at their home, but the next game will probably be owned by Leverkusen since it's an away game for Qarabag. Getting a draw is good enough when you play in your opponent's home. The chance to win the game is getting higher when it comes to your home.
Back to Roma vs. Brighton. I was not even expecting Roma to humiliate Brighton like that. Rossi's club gave Brighton no chance to score a goal. Winning 4 goals aggregate is really positive for the second leg. Brighton's almost impossible to equalize the aggregates.
Im sure brighton will not qualify for the furhter stage. Zerbi totally failed this season, brighton is playing so awfully in all of competitions. Still waiting for the news that linked zerbi to the big club. It's totally a joke.


Amazing performance from Marseille. You would never expect this French club, which is labeled as the farmer league, to destroy Villareal by a huge margin. The second leg is obviously much easier for Marseille to qualify. Im not expecting villareal to win against marseille in el madrigal.
The reason is clear marseille is far above villareal atm. Villareal gets 0 shot on target when it's playing away. Villareal is shit now. There will be no a lot of difference for the second leg.

In this season, currently most talk is moving around in these four teams with their quality and consistency is impressive, and these teams are having same level of quality which is giving them good advantage but from here which is much stronger and better team it's not easy for me, I am feeling Liverpool and AC Milan can go through for the title because Bayer Leverkusen is having good time but still for the title in UEFA Europa Cup they need more experience which is not in their side, and we have both teams are better Roma performance which was not good in first phase now having good change, and they can also create good hype in coming matches as they perform in last game against Brighton.

But it's still never been easy for anyone to predict about any specific team which is looking clearly favourite for the win just Liverpool having enough strength but can they hold this all with too many injuries it's also not easy.

The  good performance shown by Liverpool and Leverkusen in the league is actually the reason for many people who favorite both teams to be able to reach the Europa League final, while teams like Milan and Roma of course their position in the domestic league standings is a reason for not being seeded, for a team like Liverpool to be honest I agree with many people here who favorite them as potential champions because of their performance and experience so far in European competition, but for Leverkusen I am actually a little doubtful if they can do much in the Europa League because indeed the atmosphere of the Europa League and the Bundesliga is much different, especially seen when they were only able to get a draw against Qarabag which is not a strong team, I think Leverkusen  journey at the moment is too smooth because it has not faced a strong team and maybe we will see a balanced opponent for Leverkusen later in the round of 8, with a note if they can get a victory in the second leg later against Qarabag.

Honestly, for me personally a team like milan that is actually quite worthy to be considered as one of the potential champions, indeed this season their position in the Serie A sStandings is far from the title challenger but still their performance in the europa league is still very good and even they have a lot of experience in terms of winning European competitions so far.

Yes, Darwin Núñez performed extraordinary in that match. The goals he scored are indeed worthy of appreciation because he contributed 2 goals in that match and that added to Liverpool's aggregate total. Indeed he should have done that to replace Mohammed Salah's role in that match to create goals even though Salah also played but Salah only played for a little time so he didn't have time to score a goal. Indeed, Darwin Núñez is not as strong as Salah in creating lots of goals, but he can also be relied on by the club to create opportunities and achieve victory, as in that match he really proved his extraordinary abilities and did his best.

Even though at first there was doubt because Sparta Prague was able to beat Galatasaray, we can see for ourselves that Sparta Prague's performance is not comparable to Liverpool's very strong performance. Previously I once said that although Sparta Prague was able to beat Galatasaray, the performance of Galatasaray and Liverpool was very different after all. Liverpool is a Premier League club so there's no need to doubt that because their performance is definitely very strong, especially when facing an underdog club like Sparta Prague, it's not a big problem for Liverpool to get rid of them so easily, it's really sad to see Sparta Prague humiliated at home

AC Milan and AS Roma are being mentioned as potential challenges for Leverkusen or Liverpool, but I think everyone should watch Liverpool. Their Premier League and European experience make them formidable. Competitiveness makes Liverpool champions in the Premier League. Final opponent Leverkusen would be intriguing for Liverpool. Though unbeaten, they havent played Liverpool. Liverpool should win the title if they beat AC Milan or AS Roma. Despite advances and historical clout, Italian teams must prove they can compete with Europe's elite.

The Serie A teams have impressive performed in UEFA Europe League first leg 16 of round except the draw result from Atalanta but its not really bad with their away match. AS Roma and AC Milan are guarantee teams will qualify to next round or quarter final after bigger score winning in the first leg and make easily for second legs match indeed with away match. Just reminder for AC Milan have conceded two goals on the first leg and margin two goals capital on second legs match should improve their performance and not losses above three goals if won't eliminated in 16 round of Europe League.

For AS Roma seems guarantee qualify to next round, have capital four margin goals on the first leg without any conceded one goal yet seems not much problem on second leg match although got losses under three goals and I don't think Daniele De Rossi will playing more defensive.

I believe more in AC Milan than in AS Roma but I know AS Roma get good performances with De Rossi as their new coach. He is doing his job well with Roma but he has very little experience as a coach, less than other coaches in Leverkusen, Liverpool and AC Milan. It can be his weakness and can cost Roma in important matches.

Among four teams, Liverpool, Leverkusen, AC Milan and Roma, I would like to pick either Liverpool or AC Milan as best candidate to win Europa League. AS Roma and Leverkusen have good strength and can win Europa League but less than Liverpool and AC Milan. Leverkusen also will have to beat Qarabag in Germany to go to quarter finals and with a first match between two teams, Leverkusen will have to beat a tough opponent.

In terms of strength, Leverkusen is not the only one who is strong this season, several of the remaining teams in the Europa League this season also have almost the same strength as Leverkusen, but consistently Leverkusen is very good this season so they are the favourites, I think that's quite natural.
And it is true that there are still Liverpool this season who are the same and they are also very favorites and even if there are no surprises the ideal final of the Europa League this season is between Leverkusen and Liverpool, I don't mean to underestimate other teams but that is quite realistic considering that Leverkusen and Liverpool have consistency and strength.

Indeed, that is what Atalanta displayed, they performed much better than Sporting and it is clear that in the home match for Sporting they also failed to win, but in the Portuguese League they performed very well and even managed to top the standings.
Even so, this is composition that brings together several teams from various leagues and we will see how each team shows their respective performance in the competition for the title, even though they may not necessarily win, I still confident that Atalanta can produce satisfactory results.
I don't guarantee that Atalanta will win but they have second leg match as host or home match and the chances of winning the match could be much greater and this is one advantage that can be clearly seen on paper.
Moreover, Atalanta also has pretty good front line and this is one of the reasons why they were able to win in the second leg.
Well see whether Atalanta can show satisfactory results as expected or not, but they have the opportunity to win and qualify for the next round.

AC Milan isn't a team thst should be see with any for of weakness at some point because they ha e been able to prove beyond almost every form of doubt that they are not from the same place, AC Milan meet the Roma team but then it wouldn't be so much of a bad idea if both teams see their selves with such a capacity and know how well to play then they will be able to get back to still stay in the Europa competition.

Roma have been observed to only put up such brilliant performance when the come across a weak or mediocre team and then they will seize the opportunity to stay ahead meanwhile they have leaser performance when they get to play against teams that have got a record, sometimes football happened and then you will find out thst both teams would just play and the best team wins I doubts if Roma is going to find it really easy against AC Milan but then in a bid to still stay in the Europa they may have a way of making sure to get ahead of AC Milan.

Yes indeed, I was also not surprised about Liverpool big win but I was surprised about the big wins with clean sheets that AS Roma and Marseille got and also about the draw obtained by Bayer Leverkusen. About Marseille v Villarreal basically I also realized that at thismoment Villarreal did not have a goodtrend in La Liga, but because considering Villarreal was able to get good results in the Europa League then yes, atleast I thought Marseille would be difficult to beat Villarreal. But what happened was completely unexpected, because Marseille won very well and so is about AS Roma, because in the previous match AS Roma was not too impressive against Feyenoord. Soyes, that result makes me think it is not easy for AS Roma to beat Brighton or even if AS Roma is able to beat Brighton maybe only with a thin score, but what happened was really unexpected. So, with the big wins that AS Roma and Marseille have in the first leg, then I believe that AS Roma and Marseille will have a definite result to qualify for the quarter finals.

I don't know why everyone has high expectations Leverkusen forgetting that they are not the only best team in these tournament. We have Liverpool who is currently in number 1 place in Premier League which is consider as one of the tough leagues in the world, we have Sporting CP from Portuguese League, we hve Milan and Benfica even though they are not in the first place but they are among the top on their leagues. This is going to be competitive than anyone would expect.

I just think Liverpool aren't supposed to be here though, these guys killed Sparta Prague like they were having a dinner and to think that was there away match, what will now happen if they play them in Andfield, 5 goals is too much to concede in the first round of knockout stage, there is not coming back from this because they have already qualified now.
