Maybe it's because AC Milan is filled with more famous players so it looks like they have better quality players than Bayer Leverkusen, but it's proven that the role of a coach is also very big in forming a strong team, it's not enough just to be filled with famous, expensive players and so on because without a good coach and smart is all in vain because the coach is the one who assesses what strategy to use in each match.

It would be quite interesting if these two teams met either in the quarterfinals or semifinals and it would be like last season when Bayer Leverkusen faced a team from Serie A and unfortunately that time they failed and had to be satisfied with only reaching the semifinals even though that was still an extraordinary thing because Xabi Alonso had not yet for a long time at Bayer but was able to change this team for the better.

AC Milan is a good team but they often don't perform as they should, as evidenced by Rennes being able to beat them and scoring three goals, but AC Milan already had quite the advantage with the number of goals in the first match so if AC Milan faced a stronger team there would be a lot of doubts about how they would play to be able to win because of course it will be much more difficult to get.

When Liverpool are performing well and are at the top of the list of favorites in the English Premier League and Europa League, suddenly there are rumors that Klopp will leave Liverpool. If the manager takes this decision at the end of the season, it might not have any bad effect on the team, but if the manager leaves the job at the moment when the team is in a good stage in the middle of the season, there is a possibility of winning multiple trophies, it will undoubtedly have a bad effect on the team. 

If Klopp ends up in charge of Manchester City, this team will definitely go to the final and this team will be in a very good position to win the Europa League title. This team is in a strong enough position in the English Premier League and it is believed that this team will have a good competition with Manchester City.

There are vast majority of clubs that are currently without job. It's difficulty challenge is my new steam ride, he failed to move and that was it. The europa League are mainly for the bigger boys that's sitting balancing on the table. We already fished out the necessary promising players and the club but they denied due to the high salaries received over here. Why complain for penalty shootout when the opportunity to win your opponent was right infront you and you messed up your golden chances.

We may underestimate him because he has no much experience in managing top teams. De Rossi could improve the performances of AS Roma recently. They qualify for the next season, they defeated Feyenoord. Although they must defeat it through penalty shootout, but it is enough to guarantee for the next round. I appreciated how De Rossi could rebuild the defense line of AS Roma, they could lower the conceded goals. On the other hand, AS Roma also becomes quite productive, they could score many goals. It means De Rossi could improve the performance of AS Roma attackers.

Honestly, I don't expect AS Roma to qualify for the UCL in the next season. I only expect AS Roma can go far in UEL this season. And they can finish in the top 5 of Serie A. I think it is the only realistic target for AS Roma in this season.

Roma is getting better after De Rossi was appointed as head coach to replace Jose Mourinho, and in my opinion Roma deserves to be favorite to advance to the semi finals alongside Liverpool, Milan and Leverkusen. Of course, with the condition that he must be able to beat Premier League representatives Brighton, a challenge that is not easy for De Rossi because he still lacks experience as a manager. In terms of the quality of De Zerbi strategy, it is certainly more mature than De Rossi, and the Brighton manager is no stranger to Serie A football culture. Historically, Roma have been more experienced in the European League. Meanwhile, Brighton is playing in European competition for the first time in the club history, and so far their journey has gone smoothly under De Zerbi control.

Meanwhile, Liverpool and Leverkusen have been favorites since the group phase, Milan, who came from the Champions League, then made the European League competition even more lively. However, among all the current European League contestants, in my opinion Leverkusen is the candidate with the most potential to win the trophy, because they have never been defeated so far in all the competitions they have participated in. This does not mean to underestimate Liverpool and Milan, but the ideal final that I hope will happen in the future, would be to bring together Liverpool versus Leverkusen.

in the Europa League only against Feyenord, it must be difficult to qualify through a penalty shootout. aka escaping the luck factor when compared to leverkusen and liverpool, the level is still very far away. to win the Europa League is very difficult or you can say impossible, the luck factor might be able to bring As Roma champions.

Actually Many never saw de Rossi to be a better replacement for Mourinho and that's why I wouldn't want to see your case as an awkward one because it was common amongst most persons including fans and you wouldn't want to blame then aswell considering the fact that these people were looking at De Rossi fromm the aspect of the fact that he's not got good coaching experience as at the time of his appointment as the head coach of Roma, it was really a thing to contest in the fact that Mourinho who happens to be one of the best coaches across Europe was been replaced by such an inexperienced coach . It's very interesting how Rosi keeps proving himself beyond expectations by both the management of the team and the fans at large.

But then lets still give them some more time to see his total performance by the end of the season because the summation of his performance by the end of the season will tell if he's still got the ability to handle the team beyond this season and still achieve as much as he has achieved at this time already.

However, of course there is a big difference in the strength of the teams in the round of 16. Leverkusen and Liverpool are quite strong and maybe other teams are under their control for now. Ac milan just needs to maintain their hopes of qualifying for the next round because Ac milan has an easy opponent. Leverkusen has no doubts about their quality this season, they have the ambition to set a record in every match.

As discussed above the main candidate teams are Liverpool, leverkusen and Ac milan where these three teams have enough mentality to beat their opponents. It seems that Roma is not the favorite team to win the championship but it is interesting to follow Roma journey because they are getting more enthusiastic when they are coached by Calzona.

I was among those that criticized De Rossi that he will never be able to love Roma forward to achieve victory, but I was wrong because I underestimated his coaching skills. He has shown that he is a skillful coach to start with a club that is having difficulties in winning matches, and he revived Roma to a good form that they are now dangerous to their opponents. They have won most games since he took over from Jose Mourinho. Roma chance is very slim to qualify for the Champions league next season.

Undoubtedly, AS Roma have been delivering more impressive performances since Jose Mourinho was relieved of his duty as the club manager but that I don't think makes Mourinho a bad manager. The Portuguese manager during his time at the club gave his best for the club to make sure they stay relevant in European football but unfortunately for him, his best wasn't just enough for the club. In his first full season at Roma, Mourinho helped the club to win the first edition of the UEFA Conference League trophy and just last season, he led the club to another European final which happens to be UEFA Europa League final against Sevilla but sadly for Jose Mourinho, his team lost that final. This season, we saw Roma underperforming especially in the Italian Serie A and that's why the club management had to sack him.

Talking about a Jose Mourinho's potential move to the Saudi Arabia league, though I'm not tryna totally write off, but I still think it'll be extremely difficult for a manager like Jose Mourinho to leave European football to become a manager in the Middle East. Currently at Roma, Daniele De Rossi is doing well at the club and should the club continue with their current performance, I think they'll go far in the UEFA Europa League competition. But I still do not consider them as one of the top three clubs that can win the competition this season

In the Europa League, there's been top contending teams from the start till the current stage of the contest. Even though days back, the playoffs stage was concluded and there we saw few teams earn advancement tickets. Well from the beginning of the tournament, we know that it'll only be the tough teams that'd survive. Also predicting the winner this season would be hard as there are a number of tough teams to pick from. The highest we can do is to just analyze these teams based on their overtime performances this season and bringing that in the picture.

 The highest probable winner would be Leverkusen, then Liverpool and any other team behind. In essence it's safe to say that if the draws are favourable, then Liverpool would battle with Leverkusen in the final game of the tournament. Between these two teams, Liverpool have been trying though, they're anticipating the EPL trophy, and as well the Carabao cup too where they last week won Chelsea to secure the trophy.With this in their minds, the next goal will be to keep advancing in the UEL and staying intact in the EPL too.

 For Leverkusen, they've been impactful, currently the top spot in the Bundesliga too and so they've got same goal as Liverpool and therefore if in recent times they've remained unbeaten, then I doubt that there'd be a negative difference now when the tournament and season is almost rounded up. For me, I'll really love to see the heated game between Leverkusen and Liverpool in the UEL soon though and I have a feeling they'd be made to play against themselves.

AS Roma might not be in the UCL but they're trying their best to hook up with important developments. Jose Mourinho only left because AS Roma board didn't no longer see any good use for him, instead they comply within themselves to settle for a decision they all thought was best for the club. However that decision made have strengthen the performance of the club and they're improving in their games and performance. I must give Daniele De Rossi his accolades because it's not an easy job to be delivering excellence results in his status as headcoach for the club.

I never thought De Rossi was that experienced or good enough to manage the club As Roma. But damn me to forget that he knows the club very well in and out and has been a legend.
It was the right call for the management of As Roma to show Jose Mourinho the exit door. This is the same Rossi using the same players within the squad to go ahead on the league standing.

Jose Mourinho should take a season or two of for real from coaching amd managing duties, he should go on vacation and work on his return back to football.
Many Chelsea fans are currently calling out for his return back to the Premier League Competition and that would beba great one definitely.

The European League has now reached the round of 16 and the teams that are still remaining in the European League are the best teams available even though of how bad their performance is in the domestic league, currently we can say that Liverpool is the strongest candidate to win the trophy apart from performance, those who are quite good, of course their experience in playing and winning the Champions League will be their main asset, I don't mean to underestimate Leverkusen, but I think compared to Leverkusen, Milan is actually still better at the moment in the European League even though they are not at the top of the Serie A standings because we cannot deny how Milan has been able to surprise many people when their play in European Competitions so far, meanwhile, our Leverkusen admits their greatness in the Bundesliga, but so far I have not seen Leverkusen face a strong team in the European League.

The atmosphere of domestic leagues and European competitions is very different so we cannot underestimate other clubs because they only perform badly in the domestic league So far, many teams have appeared dominant in the domestic league but have performed quite badly when they play in European competitions,maybe you all know that Sevilla is the club with the most European league champions at the moment, but haven't they never won La Liga since 1946?

No one knows what will happen next but considering Sevilla's history, it makes me worried if it happens to Milan this season to get the UEL title, while I hope that Leverkusen can get the title this season.
Seeing Milan's performance domestically and in the UEL, it is surprising that their performance is very strong even though they cannot continue in the Champions League, of course Milan's goal has changed to get the title in the UEL this season.
But in terms of strength, Milan's performance is not as strong as Leverkusen, but in terms of player quality, Milan actually has more quality players.
I really had doubts since Milan's arrival made all my hopes decrease slightly for Leverkusen.

Milan is currently the topic of conversation in UEL and Serie A because Milan's current performance is recognized by many people because it really gives a very good quality performance.
Even after Milan successfully enters the quarter-finals, of course everyone will favor Milan over Liverpool because I'm worried that Milan can surprise everyone by winning the UEL title.

But in my view it looks like AS Roma do not have a great chance of being able to advance further in this Europa League because after all, playing against Feyenoord has also made it difficult for AS Roma to win in normal time 90 minutes. Therefore, when AS Roma get a more difficult opponent then yes, I will personally doubt AS Roma. Because after all, only about beating Feyenoord on penalties at least illustrates that AS Roma is still not strong enough to be a competitor to Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen. Indeed, AS Roma's results under De Rossi's coaching so far are still impressive with better goal aggressiveness than the Mourinho era. But once again, that De Rossi managed to make AS Roma impressive just in Serie A but still not enough to promise good results in the Europa League.

Not only Mourinhos departure didn't do any damage, but they actually became better after he left as well. Which really isn't great for Mourinhos legacy as well, dude has been around for a long time and he still ended up being wrong in most cases, I feel like it wasn't really all that easy to handle.

I personally believe that the best thing to do in this case would be Mourinho to go to Saudi Arabia, because they would hire him just based on his name alone. De Rossi on the other hand may have a much better career after this, because he took over a team that weren't doing that well, and ended up having some great wins, and even streaks, to keep the team alive and doing well. These all matter to him, and should be important.

AC Milan is not a weak team. They have a stable squad. They have a lot of talented players in the squad. The team's performance in Serie A has been somewhat erratic. The team is not able to maintain the consistency of good performance. The team has no chance of winning the Serie A title. And this is why Milan will try their hardest to win the Europa League title

Liverpool and Leverkusen seem to be the favorites to win the Europa League title. But Liverpool are competing for the FA Cup and Premier League titles. The Europa League title is probably the third priority due to Liverpool. On the other hand, Milan will try their best to win the Europa League title. But which team will be the champion cannot be predicted for sure yet. There is still a long journey ahead.

Milan being a Europa League favorite bothers me. Recent Serie A performances and a poor Champions League campaign make me doubt they're up to the challenge. On paper, their roster may make a deep Europa League run, but their inconsistency is a huge concern. If you compare Milan to Leverkusen and Liverpool, who have been performing well in their leagues and in Europe, their odds seem optimistic.

I understand why some support Milan; a move to the Europa League may be a fresh start. However, Leverkusen hasnt lost a competition game this season, smashing records. Liverpool's up there too. I dont expect Milan to suddenly improve.

This is a long story short I guess. The level that both these teams are presenting to the public is remarkable and there is no way around them to label them as the favorites to win this title.

But I think that the most interesting thing about this rivalry is the whole circumstances. Alonso could go to Liverpool, Klopp will stop coaching for a while, many many more things. I hope that these two teams meet in the final and fight the fight we are all looking forward to.
