Liverpool is a different story, they historically try to win all the cups (even small ones) in which they participate. And by the way, given the situation due to Klopp’s upcoming departure, Liverpool could theoretically have increased motivation to win the Europa League since this is the only tournament that Klopp did not win with Liverpool.

In the European contests, there's been top contending teams from the start till the current stage of the contest. Even though days back, the playoffs stage was concluded and there we saw few teams earn advancement tickets. Well from the beginning of the tournament, we know that it'll only be the tough teams that'd survive. Also predicting the winner this season would be hard as there are a number of tough teams to pick from. The highest we can do is to just analyze these teams based on their overtime performances this season and bringing that in the picture. For Roma and Brighton, it'll be risky to say who'd be victorious in the coming European encounter.

 But Between these two teams, Roma have been trying though, they're anticipating the a top spot in the Serie A league race, as well as they've been able to compete real well in their Copa Italia games too and then they're also top contenders for the European cup. Well, the Serie A games that's been played so far will put them in a high victory hungry spot, and when the next European game will be played the weight on them would be a bit lessened as before now, due to their past games where they've had to keep up proper performances, they had to keep resting players at some point and I believe it had an effect on some of their games. Good thing is, they've been able to build up their confidence rightly and they've got to strive to stay ahead in subsequent games.

 So I believe that their game against Brighton won't be so tough for them as one would imagine it to be as they've tried in a very little way to be above their opponent in terms of performance. For Brighton, they've been impactful, currently striving to stay in shape in the Premier League too and so they've got same goal as Roma and therefore if in recent times they've remained at an average performance level, then I doubt that there'd be a negative difference now when the tournament and season is almost rounded up. For me, I'll really love to see the heated game between Roma and Brighton in the UEL soon though and I have a feeling that the game would practically end in a draw at the first leg but it's only best that one of the sides stands out more and secure the 3points ahead.

The AS Roma club has experience in the European League. But their coach, De Rossi, doesn't have much experience in the European League in his coaching career. So I personally might prefer to think that this match will be quite fierce. Even though I will also favor the home team, I am still not sure whether Roma will be okay in this match. Because I still remember that Roma also had great difficulties when they faced Feyenoord in the knockout round. And Roma was actually able to qualify for the round of 16 because they won on penalties against Feyenoord. So for me the first leg is still a match that is difficult to predict. But I prefer to bet on the home team of course.

For the first leg match you can see Marseille and Sporting as the favourite but although Sporting is the favourite but i don't think they can easily to beat Atalanta and talking about Sporting vs Atalanta i think this is interesting because both teams has been met at group stages and this season they are in the same group and after group stages ended Atalanta can able to finish at first place and Sporting in the second place and Atalanta records is very impressive because they can collect 14 points from 6 matches and still unbeatable

And from the meeting records too we can see Atalanta has good records from Sporting because during group stages Atalanta can gets 1 win and 1 draw from 2 matches against Sporting besides that Atalanta recent performance also quite stable in this competition and Serie A so my prediction is although first leg will be held at Sporting home ground but Atalanta will not lost and possible they can beat Sporting or at least gets draw result from this match and for betting option i will be more prefer to pick Atalanta win or for safe bets both teams to scores

The main weakness of brighton is playing opening against its opponent and very often doing back pass which can be intercepted by its opponent. The gameplay of brighton never changed and i was rarely seeing this club used defensive strategy. Playing openly put the defense into the big risk caused by many players were going upfront.
Brighton's strategy to isolate its opponent but it will not work when it faced a club which is strong in all of lines. This is why brighton was always struggling in beat the low block club which was often playing at the penalty box by putting as many people as possible to keep the goal keeper being threatened by its opponent.
It was very easy to identify the main weakness from brighton. Roma needs only to play low block combined with quick counter attack. Zerbi was a typical lazy coach and he keeps repeat the same strategy anytime. Roma was equal to the brighton. Rossi must tell his players to play lowblock.

It is very difficult to make predictions about these two matches and betting is also very risky. First, in the match between Villarreal and Marseille, these two teams are equally strong. The performance of both the teams is erratic. So it is very difficult to predict which team will win. However, we are seeing an improvement in Villarreal's performance in recent times.
