This season Liverpool is different from last season, they managed to recover. And now they are even stronger at the top of the EPL standings. You may be right but for me I think Liverpool has upper chance of winning the Europa League because there performance on this Europa is very impressive and encouraging, however with the kind of winning record they have on this Europa is actually a commendable one and also the interesting thing about Liverpool is that they are moving quite on both the premier League do to there consistent impressive performance they have been putting on the both leagues but with the current competition on  the premier League trophy I doubt if Liverpool will be able to win it because there are still other clubs that are more better than them in performance, so they should focus more on there Europa League were they have higher chance of winning.

I think you misunderstood me and were referring to laurenB7742 who said that Liverpool would give up on one competition to win another competition. But I said that this is not true and Liverpool is on fire. They want to win it all and in fact I agree with you that Klopp will try to solve the problems with injuries as good as he can. The Europa League title starts to mean something to them. The first games were difficult because they were used to play in the Champions League, but the closer they get to the goal to reach the final, the more meaningful the competitions becomes.

Why Brighton can be in the semi-final? It is their first season in UEL, I am not sure they will reach the semi-final if they will get a difficult opponent in the next round. Although they can lead the group B, it is no guarantee they will do the same in the knock-out round. It is because the opponent will be harder and even there is the teams from UCL.

Honestly, I don't expect too much on the success of Brighton this season in UEL. I think Brighton just focus on the experience first. They want to get some lessons from UEL. They may target to get bigger achievement in UEL in the next season. It will be always difficult to reach semifinal or final in the first season. We know that it requires a lot of experiences.

Shakhtar Donetsk actually had a good run in the Champions League and their fate was going to be clear by the final week games in the group stage. As they lost to Porto they are in the Europa League now. But we should keep something in mind definitely that Shakhtar still did good things in the group stage like beating Barcelona in the first place.

Therefore Marseille had better get ready for a fierce competition. I assume Shakhtar would maintain their determined performance against them as well. They have been affected by the war really badly in terms of their squad quality but they are still doing their best.

I don't agree with you. Liverpool is doing very good currently despite the long injury list. Basically, their main players in the midfield are injured. Mac Allister and Thiago are injured. They called back Carvalho probably to handle the situation. But since the January transfer market started today, I think they will be looking to strengthen their lackings. Klopp won't be sitting around you know. If they can tackle their lackings and fix their injury list, I don't see them losing the Europa League.

Let's see who could be the problem for Liverpool in the Europa League. Bayer Leverkusen, AC Milan, AS Roma, and Villareal probably will be the biggest of their problems. Although Leverkusen is doing pretty good right now, the German league is not that strong. I think Liverpool will be able to deal with them. As for AC Milan, Roma, and Villareal, I think Liverpool will be able to handle the way they are playing right now. They are in the top spot right now in the premier league which is nothing to underestimate.
