Brighton & Hove Albion scored with Joao Pedro in the last minutes and won the match and finished the group as leaders. Marseille would have been the leader if they hadn't conceded that goal, but now they have to play though play-off matches. Marseille played for a draw throughout the match and inevitably conceded a goal in the end. Maybe it would have been better for them if they had thought about scoring goals and not been so defensive. I thought there would be more goals in this match, but I was wrong. I didn't expect Marseille to play so doomed. When Brighton also couldn't score a goal, the match went like this until the last minutes.

I think Slavia Prague is on the same level as Roma. It's just that their victory against Roma changed the situation in G. I thought that Prague and Roma would qualify but I put Roma in first place and Prague in second place. For the other two clubs, Servette and Sheriff, I honestly have no expectations for them.
Roma hasn't been consistent and I think their form aswell is yet to be seena s one that's really formidable, they literally turn defensive in situations where they find out that the game is seemingly tough so often time they are just on an average performance in the Europa league so far so I don't even really esteem them too high in their group but then they appear better actually.

They are only seeming like they are doing better in the Europa because they are in a group that has literally average teams who can not actually put up a good fight and resistance against them to keep them on their toes in the league but definitely at the second round of the Europa, their strength will real be put to test and then we will know how well they can be and if they will have the ability to go beyond the second round of the Europa ,but then their escape route will be through strengthen their team with new players in the January transfer windows but until then you are right to say the look like they are on the same levels with Slavia Prague

The Europa Conference League participation is like a consolation prize for Ajax at the moment. It is at least better than being completely eliminated from the competitions. If they continue to improve their performance who knows maybe they can turn into a favourite for the title there as well. There aren't so many big teams there in the end but there are challenging ones indeed.

Slavia Prague completed a group with Roma as leader. They even beat Roma once as well. This is attention getting to me but if they get one of top contenders as their opponent in next round I don't know how strong they can continue to play. Because things will get more serious and they could face a huge competition.

Ajax at this point is still trying to recover from a bad start so despite them moving to the conference league, I don't think they can go further in the conference league since their current form now can't be predicted because we might think that they've picked form then all of sudden they might start flopping again so until we see a convincing improvement from them.

Ajax Amsterdam has not lost a game in the Eredivisie the last 8 games. I think they are out of the woods now. That crisis hit them hard and they can forget all the goals they had pre season, but I think if they continue like this, there is still a chance to make it into the Champions League for next season because to my surprise I found out a moment ago that the Eredivisie has now one more starter for the Champions League. Last season it was only 1 starter, now it is 2 starters.

As for the relegation into the Conference League, I think they have a chance there. If it wasn't for their bad start into the Europa League group stage, I think they would have won their group.

Ajax were showing some recovery in the recent times. I mean in their Eredivisie games. However I still expected this performance improvement to reflect onto the Europa League as well. I expected them to beat AEK in the critical game to join the Europa Conference League at least. They really did it by a convincing 3-1 win.  Smiley

I'm happy to see Ajax not ending their journey in European competitions early. They aren't a bad team normally but they have had really difficult times for a long time. Finally there is some fight by them to deal with this bad season and turn it into a better one.

They flopped big time and that was the lowest to the lowest I've seen them gone since I begin watching them. They have done well to improve themselves, they was second to last position in the relegation zones when the league started, now they're fifth place on their standing pushing themselves back to them right place and position.

They don't have enough time to level up in the Europa League Competition otherwise they would have been the second place occupants.
Boggled at hoe Brighton are group leaders, Marseille will face lots of hits in the next round, they should have done enough to qualify. Impressed with Brighton, for they're doing so well in them first season in the very first time they qualified for the European Europa League Competition.

Leverkusen and Liverpool look to be strong and best candidates for this race but a general picture can be changed when some big clubs from Champions League join Europa League.
Currently I think Leverkusen is the only stronger candidate for the Europa this season , although earlier Liverpool aswell looked like a very strong team but their recent performance has begin to look like they are seemingly weak and may likely struggle to win the Europa league title this season, especially with their performance last night I began to nurse some doubts.

With Leverkusen I'm still very much sure they will do so well In the Europa but then I see Liverpool have some set back as they have already lost two game so far in the Europa league this season and that already make it looks like weakness on their side but back in their domestic league they are doing so well aswell, they are at the top of the league table in the premier league but then they could probably do better later on in the Europa as that has been one of their biggest dream this season. Further more if Liverpool continue with this form they have at the Europa currently, AC Milan which have joined from the champions league will most definitely be a challenge to them.

Galatasaray, Lens, Sporting Braga, Benfica, Feyenoord, AC Milan, Young boys and Shakhtar Donetsk will move to the Europa after failing from the Champions League. AC Milan already to me are another team that can stop the Liverpool plan to win this competition.
Milan is a pretty strong team in Serie A but they are not strong enough in the Champions League. This could be a threat to Liverpool's chances of winning the UEFA Europa League title. For other teams from the Champions League, I think they can be competitive at European level, but I don't think they will be able to compete with strong teams like Liverpool and AC Milan.
Right now we can't predict about any team and any result because first we have to check these Champions League dropped teams how give their performance in qualifiers which are also not easy for them with few tough teams are waiting for them and these big giants are having intention to go through for their domestic leagues as well as we have in last few years but AC Milan which is currently third in Serie A and having average performance in Champions League surely looking for the better end of their season and this can happen if they are going to have good results in Serie A and now in Europa League which is also not easy for them with in presence of Bayer Leverkusen and Liverpool which are doing good job and now having good end of their group stage matches.

No one would have thought that Slavia Prague would be able to beat Roma by leading the standings and qualifying for the know out round.
The possibility that Roma is still very long, what is happening to Roma at the moment cannot be separated from their poor performance at the start of the season so they are a little behind, but if you look at the quality of the Roma team at the moment, it is possible that they will be able to do the same thing as they have done. last season.
As long as Jose Mourinho is still Roma coach, I believe he will provide a lot for Roma in their journey further in the Europa League.

I think Slavia Prague is on the same level as Roma. It's just that their victory against Roma changed the situation in G. 8 teams will play round of 16 automatically

West Ham
Brighton Albion
Rangers
Atalanta
Liverpool
Villareal
Slavia Praha
Leverkusen
With the above qualified clubs is very certain that the Europa League champion is Liverpool because with the performance of Liverpool on this season I don't think there is much of a threat against them but however the only team that can challenge them a bit is Bayern Leverkusen because just like Liverpool Bayern Leverkusen has also maintain a very good performance since from the beginning of the season so if perhaps Liverpool misses the opportunity to win the Europa League I don't think it will pass Bayern Leverkusen because among all the clubs that qualified, after Liverpool in times of performance is Bayern Leverkusen so I believe the competition is just within them.

Even though Liverpool use B-team players, it's not that bad, only the both wingers are really awful. Gordon and Doak almost don't give any contribution in the field, they have 69% ball possession and only shots four times.

Everyone were expecting Liverpool to win easily, but after Liverpool have show their lineup before the match, it makes people think St.Gilloise will win.
Klopp want to ensure all of their key players in the good fitness this weekend because they have important match against Manchester United so Klopp has decided to played 6 or more Liverpool reserved players because it is risky to playing all of their main players for this match especially Liverpool have already to qualified so lose or win from this match it won't change their final position at group standings because other teams cannot pursuing their points and although they lose today but Liverpool still able to finish at first place

Unlike Leverkusen who able to gets 6 wins from group stages but Liverpool have to lose twice but i think it doesn't matter because 12 points from 6 matches makes them enough to qualified to round of 16 and became an group champion and besides Liverpool i think congratulation to Toulouse because although their performance on Ligue 1 was not really good but they can able finish at second place and qualified along with Liverpool and if i am not mistaken this is their first time to playing at European competition but they can finish at runner up place so this is good achievement from Toulouse

I don't know what exactly is happening with Liverpool tonight but I least expected such poor performance from them because they appeared much better than saint gallilous and even have a better form and depth than they do but it's really unimaginable how they are loosing already in the early minutes of the second half.

I'm hoping they will be able to get an equalizer but it's looking like they may likely not get such because their opponent is bent on getting another goal which has just been canceled by VAR. Leverkusen on the other hand is already four goals ahead, maintaining their unbeaten streak this season in the Europa so far, they are loosing to me like the team with the most potential to win the Europa, because Liverpool who I was hoping could do any better is currently Lossing form and it's really sad that it has to be with smaller teams which could be considered weak.
Liverpool don't want to risk their key players playing in a match that no longer has an impact because whatever the result, they have already ensured that they have passed the group phase, and you can see that the starting XI is filled with a lot of second-tier players, even their goalkeeper is the second goalkeeper.
Liverpool has a more important match in the English Premier League because they will face Manchester United.
A lesson for bettors is to ignore matches that no longer have an impact on one of the teams because the results are difficult to predict, as happened in Liverpool's match last night, and no one will certainly be disappointed with these results other than bettors who think that Liverpool will be able to win convincingly because the opponent has a different quality to Liverpool.

The result of the match that was quite surprising in the sixth match was how Real Betis failed to qualify from the group phase and couldn't even occupy second place in the group because they lost to Rangers and that happened at their home, they controlled the game but many opportunities couldn't be maximized but Rangers played effectively by successfully scoring the winning goal which made them qualify from the group phase.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp already knows that his team has won the group E of the UEFA Europa League competition before their final game of the group which means that the result of their final group stage game against Union Saint-Gilloise isn't gonna affect their position in the group and that's why I wasn't expecting him to field a strong squad in that game of last night at Union Saint-Gilloise. The Belgian club took full advantage of the opportunity and delivered an outstanding performance but unfortunately for them, it wasn't enough for them to progress to the knockout stages of the competition as French club Toulouse defeated their hosts LASK to finish as the group runner's up which sends Union Saint-Gilloise crashing out of the Europa League competition.

The final matches of the group stages has been played and all the teams that progressed to the knockout stages has been confirmed as well. The UEFA Europa League returns in February when the knockout stages kicks off but until then.

Yes I agree with you, we're a long way from the final and I don't think we need to talk about that now, it's too early to talk about that. Leverkusen and Liverpool are the favorites, but that doesn't guarantee that they'll actually do it.
We still have the play offs before the last 16, and in the play offs there are still clubs that can pose a threat like AC Milan for example.
Today is also the last match of the group stage, or in other words, the group stage is still not finished, and we are already discussing the final match.
No doubt many changes are going to happen in coming days with now we are in last round of group stages, and then we will have two months break and January transfer window is also going to have impact on teams as well which will give strength of few teams and few teams will lose their players just because of this talking about who is winner and who is going to have good end it's not ideal.
Bayer Leverkusen is surely team to watch in this season with their wining streak is going long, and they are going to have good challenges in coming weeks as well which will bring some ups and downs as well.
The regular transfer window is a time for clubs to improve their squads, and I agree with you that it will be a time of change for many clubs, not least those in the Europa League. It's possible that the current favorite club could suffer a setback after the transfer window, things that we never predicted before are things that could very well come true.
Especially when they have to divide their focus between the Europa League and the domestic league for example, it becomes a difficulty in itself. Not without reason, because their schedule will be even more crowded by participating in these two competitions. A schedule that is vulnerable to the physical condition of the players and that is closer to something unwanted, such as injury for example.

In general, clubs from the Champions League who join the Europa League are not as strong as Liverpool and Leverkusen, but the presence of these clubs can be a threat to them. I only consider Milan, Lens and Galatasaray who can pose a threat, but based on the consistent performances of Liverpool and Leverkusen, the presence of these clubs can improve their quality to go further in the Europa League.
The results depend on the end of the play-off round, after which a new round will begin. The more strong clubs that join the Europa League, the more excitement there will be for the audience when strong teams compete.
How do you know if that club is not very strong?? In my opinion, the Champions League groups stage is still considered a strongs club because they are able to compete there, maybe after fighting hard in the Champions League but not achieving satisfactory result, at least they can compete in the European League. At a glance, what you see is only the dominant clubs that you see. I know, however, the European League is still full of medium sized club who are able to put pressure on big clubs, so we cannot yet confirmed which clubs from the Champions League will be able to survive and take part in the European League qualifying rounds because the clubs that are relegated from the Champions League are also not clubs carelessly they were the selected club that could compete there but were beaten by big club in the EPL, Bundesliga and Spanish League, French League 1 and Italian Serie A.

After the play off rounds is finished we will looks at the clubs that will be a challenge for Liverpool and Leverkusen because currently both clubs are still doing their job well and with the presence of club from the Champions League and the groups stage we will see the potential for others clubs that can become a threat for them so for that we can enjoying match that will be even more interesting and no less interest like the Champions League.

8 teams will play round of 16 automatically
Slavia Praha

From the eight teams here who will play directly most of the teams are big ones from big leagues amd what really caught my eye here is Slavia Prague which is an exception from big leagues and they were also in the same group with Roma.

It is a great achievement for them as most probably they would not have imagined to do this fine in this competition. Now they have also a chance to win maybe because in a game,a two way game anything can happen no matter who will be your opponent.
With this success of Slavia Praha, AS Roma will have to join two play off matches and they will have wait for a play-off draw in next three days. Last season, they played in play-off round too and went to the final match before losing against Sevilla in a controversial final. They hope to get another final match with Mourinho that can be their last time with the coach and they actually began their group well. Things changed after a defeat at Prague and after that, one more bad result with a draw with Severtte caused them a big failure with a mandatory play-off participation.

It is not the end for Roma but they actually did one to play it again. Now they have to join this round and will have to surpass it to continue hunting for another final match.

I would like to mention a very interesting match between Villereal and Rennais.
The match itself was very interesting and ended with the score 3:2, in favor of Villereal, but in the last minutes Rennais evened the score, but the goal in the 100th minute (!) was canceled because of the old rule, when Enzo Le Fe executed a free kick, it hit the crossbar and then flew back to him and he started an attack that ended with a goal, but the goal was canceled because of the fact that it turns out that it is impossible for a player who kicks a free kick twice in a row, and it turns out the bar does not count.

Because of this rule, Rennais lost the right to a direct exit from the group in the 1/8 finals of the Europa League.

I think, Liverpool defenders are the one that made that mistakes to allowed unions st Golloise to used the first half to reduced their strength by allowed their opponent strikers to scored all those goals to lead the match with 2-1 to the end of the match to increase their points to 11 points . Well, nobody is above mistakes, and despite they defeated Liverpool in their home, Liverpool is still toping the group which is one of the advantage that will make their coach to correct the errors that occurred so that what happened in this match will not repeat itself again till the end of the tournament. If you look at Liverpool in this season in the Europa league competition and premier league competition, you will know that they are in good position to win one of this title in this season.

The Europa League group matches have ended and now we need to look forward to the play offs and which teams will advance to the know out round and we will be able to see the competition and speculation for the teams that will advance further.

Though Ajax seems to be awaken from their slumber but their win against AEK Athens is what I call ''a medicine after death '' as they are improving at a time when they couldn't make it to the Europa next round but i am optimistic that they will start doing more better now that they've started recording some winnings because their early performance was nothing to write home about so lets see how they turn things around for their own good.
I have to be agreed with you about your words which are describing perfect Ajax current situation but still they are doing impressive job after losing against Marseille in France now they are having four matches winning streak which bring them from bottom to fifth spot in Dutch league, and now they are also having chance for the Conference Cup which is newly introduced cup by UEFA and this can give good chance to them for having something good for this season.

Even still we can't predict about anything but their recent performance is clearly giving indicator they could be at their best and will not go easily down from this pot even they will fight hard for the few things which will give them good confidence for the next season as well this big win is surely going to have good booster and fans will be also excited as their worst period is ended and now goals rain is coming for the wins.
