But on a second thought, Liverpool is elite club and they don't have fears playing tougher clubs this season. Rather we have good winnings that will shocked everything within an estimated time.

The last time they won it was in 2021, it was already a very long time. The good history also doesn't guarantee they can win the Europa League title this season. I've closely followed the development at Liverpool since the start of the season and I don't think that there's anyone who has done same that will want to write them off as potential winners of the UEFA Europa League competition. The fact that they lost to Belgian club Union Saint-Gilloise doesn't in anyway make them less of a favorite to win the trophy. Before the game yesterday, Liverpool had already secured top spot as the group winners of their group and you don't expect the manager of the side to field a strong side when they already have a very busy schedule. Liverpool had a very poor campaign last season and are very determined to make up their shortcomings this season by winning as many trophies as possible. The UCL group stage is off, Roma and Slavia Praha has advanced unto the next stage of the contest. Even though Roma are a side that were more or less struggling in the group stage games. They didn't have so many goal differences and then Praha made every game they played very much difficult for them, putting them to extreme positions too. Well the good thing is that they advanced to the next stage which is what matters most.

 They were able to bounce back in their last group encounter and it saw them through to the round of 16 stage of the tournament. At this time, they'd put more efforts to focusing on both races, knowing also that the league's journey isn't as easy as it was some seasons ago. The domestic league is now tough and competitive and they've also gotten to a tougher stage in the UCL, every chance and error counts.

I'm more than happy with Brighton. This is their very first time to qualify fir this European Competition and they also qualified for the Europa League knockouts stage with them as the group leaders. I didn't watch this match, because there were too many matches in the Europa League. previously, I predicted that Marseille would win the match by a narrow margin. It's a shame, Genarro Gattuso's squad was unable to carry out its task well. In fact, Gattuso did not implement a defensive system pattern, but they were clearly inferior in tactics and strategy to De Zerby's squad. we can refer to Marsille using a 3-4-3 pattern. they didn't control the ball much, nor did they have the chances they had. throughout the match, they only had 5 total shots. It seemed like this match was a tough one, until the only goal was scored in the 88th minute by Brighton's Joao Predo. Unfortunately, Marseille lost and were unable to win the match. Liverpool definitely does look like they are going to end up being the winners, but I have always said that Liverpool may not care as much as we think they may. People think that they are the best team and it's true that if they do focus on this then they could definitely win it, but will they focus on it? Are we sure on that? I do not think that they will focus as much as we think they may, I think there is a possibility that we may not see them win all that much, we could see them not do that well at all.

We should be considering some situation where they just ignore this cup and focus on premier league, I have said this before and going to say it again, winning the premier league is 10x  better than europa, so they may go out with bench players to rest starters for league games.

I doubt with Liverpool will be the UEFA Europe League winner, loss 2 of 6 matches in group stage is not quit well performance from Liverpool what ever their achievement finished on first standings and automatically qualified to 16 round. Regarding with another favorite team Bayern Leverkusen success with 100% winning trend and keep unbeaten on group round although they have qualified but keep serious for playing matches left and get the winning result.
Current team with Liverpool group stage not really difficult yet but unbelievable have losses from Toulouse and Union Saints. Must improving performance for Liverpool on 16 round if won't loss with their target becoming the Europe League winner, how ever on 16 round will face difficult opponent teams actually 8 teams from Champion League relegated has potential against Liverpool.

It's even a bit better than roma. If you were aware how slavia was able humiliated as roma same as when roma was also humiliating slavia in the first leg. Roma is finishing at the second place while slavia was winning the group stage. I remember when roma losses against slavia praha.
Even though this club sounds very unfamiliar for us but im sure if many people become even more familiar after it was able beating as roma to finish at the top position. The performance of as roma is still remain questionable at this time.
Roma seems a bit inconsistent in the group stage. As long as roma can get easy opponent soon and the chance to qualify for further stage is quite big right now.

The good thing for everyone who ranked up in second place, is this year no big team asides of MIlan comes from the Champions League, so you have a big chance to go into the round of 16.

About Leverkusen performance, is really impresive, not so much in this tournament at this stages, but yes in the Bundesliga against big teams.

We have to admit that it was a very good performance against Marseille in the home  match. And Brighton deserved to win this match. Although Marseille have performed well in previous matches,  their performance  in this match was very poor. Marseille had only 39% ball possession  in this match. And  they managed only  5 shots in 90  minutes, none of which were on target. On the other hand the opponent Brighton had a total of 13 shots and 5 were on target. Marseille wanted to draw the match and keep the top spot in the table. But Marseille failed completely.

You have been wrong here As I said there was nothing at stake for Liverpool and still something at stake for Union Saint-Gilloise and they did what they had to in order to retain the chance to progress to the next round. But since the other game ended with a win for Toulouse, Union Saint-Gilloise efforts were wnot crowned with success. But for the future I think it should be paid attention to what is on the line for the clubs and it is not an exception that the favorite on paper loses the game because there is nothing to fight for.

Since now some teams from the Champions League have also joined the Europa League, I am looking forward to the drawing for the round of 16.

But I think, if Marseille can play more attacking, it is still not easy for Marseille to score. Marseille couldn't score a goal or even try to score. They didn't produce any real opportunity from the few attempts they had. They just made the life of Brighton and Hove Albion easier in this match since they were dominating the game and attacking.
English Premier League proved to be superior than the others, West Ham United were able to win also against Freiburg and lead their group. Liverpool also are leading their group even though they lost their unnecessary last game against Union Saint-Gilloise which ended third.

Of all the teams in the group stage, only Leverkusen managed to win 6 matches with a perfect 18 points. This is so real and with the expertise of Xabi Alonso this result can be achieved. He is a phenomenal coach with Leverkusen and with the additional victory over Molde made Leverkusen consolidate its 20th victory so far in all competitions.

Leverkusen are also unbeaten in all competitions and I wonder how long they can maintain this record. The numbers are fantastic and no one has been able to beat them to date. Now Leverkusen is just waiting for the draw results and I am also curious who will be their opponents later.
