The only worst scenario for this match probably the narrow score as the result. The chance for draw to happen is really small right now. Atalanta will be using the same strategy like the first leg.

Ajax seems like a weak team in this competition and they haven't even proven their capacity as one of the big teams in Europe. But this cannot be separated from their poor performance this season in the domestic league because they were shackled in the relegation zone. However, slowly they have risen in the domestic league, but their chance to qualify from the European league group stage is too late. They must appreciate the opportunities that exist this season and come back again next season. Marseille will close this match with a win and lock the title as group winners.

For Brighton and AEK Athens, maybe Brighton will get their revenge in this second round because they need 3 points if they want to lock up 2nd place in group B and at the same time dash AEK Athens' hopes of qualifying for the next round.

Sevilla were very disappointing with their results of yesterday's game against their Russian visitors PSV. In a game that they were leading  by two goals to nil in the 47th minute of the game. That defeat has ended Sevilla,'s hopes of reaching the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League and has further reduced their chances of reaching the qualifying for the round of 32 of the UEFA Europa League competition because at the moment, Sevilla now gas to beat Lens when the visit the French side for their last match in the group stage, a result I think is very unlikely to happen.

How Ajax moved from becoming a strong team even in international competitions to a a very week side that have not won any match in the group, still baffles me. Today they will face the French side Olympique Marseille who are even at the top of the group. I don't see them getting a draw tonight as Marseille will not show any sign of mercy for the Dutch side.

The strong match I see in that group is that between Brighton and Athens of Greece. Brighton have to dare the impossible to be able to win the match as they already lost their first leg at home.

Yes Ajax will certainly not be able to win the group and be in the round of 16, but they still have a very small chance of being in the play offs. But once again their chances are very small, because besides they have to be able to win in 2 matches, they also determine their fate on other clubs who must accept defeat in the last 2 matches.
Yes they can focus on the domestic league now, because so far in the domestic league they are also not looking good and thrown into the middle of the table. They can focus there to improve their ranking.

PSV turned the tables in the second half and that’s quite a bitter pill for Sevilla and it’s fans to swallow especially holding their lead till about 30 mins to final whistle. PSV went from 2 goals down to defeat 10-man Sevilla 3-2 and secured their place in the Round of 16, finally dashing the hope of Sevilla who are Europa Kings to the mud. Now Sevilla will have to defeat Lens to be able to get through to the Round of 16 and that’s going to be quite difficult because Lens as well need at least a point to go through to the Europa League

 Sevilla has had a very bad performance and might probably have a shadow of themselves if they qualify to the Europa League because in that side of Europe’s top stage we can see some best teams there. Manchester United a team that can’t hold on to a 2 goal lead can’t even win up to 2 matches might have crazy problems qualifying. Milan might not be able to get out of the group, because Newcastle are really showing massive strength and determination, well one thing we love in Europe is that the fun is still on till the last days, but I think with the way things are going I feel Milan are going to find it very tough against Newcastle.

Today Atalanta and Sporting clube de Portugal will meet in their Europa League Group D match. Atalanta have already secured their place in the knockout stages, while Sporting clube de Portugal need only a draw to secure their place in the qualifying play-offs. Atalanta are unbeaten in the Europa League and currently top their group with 10 points. Sporting clube de Portugal are second in the Europa League group with seven points. This will be the second meeting between the two teams with Atlanta winning the first leg 2-1. I predict that the match will end in a draw, as Sporting clube de Portugal will do enough to secure the points needed to reach the knockout stage.

The lose wouldn't have affected them too much . Liverpool's coach Kloop saw it approaching he was only trying to avoid injuries and  extend his finishing line in to the top of the league. 
Marseille since Gatuso Genarro in has also improved and made sure important big wins. Gattuso now has to make sure his side qualified mè. Predictions on who wins the the competition is very challenging but Liverpool can not alone win the competition.  They have big clubs
Like Romae and Leverkusen all getting  ready for whatever is to comes.

Ajax Amsterdam started the season horribly with a lot of defeats and points losses then they woke up a little but they still didn't recover yet and it is unlikely to get to their good form any time soon.
I don't expect much from them against Marseille especially when facing them away even though Marseille isn't in its best form either.. With a maximum of 8 points after potential 2 victories which I believe it will not happen, I think that Ajax will return to Amsterdam since this round.

Ajax are clearly done when it comes to making it to last 16 round. Fighting for the Europa Conference League would be a more realistic target for them at this moment. But even about that target I'm not so hopeful about them honestly. Because they are just playing horrible which led them not being able to win a single game in the group so far.

Against neither Marseille nor AEK I expect Ajax to be the winner. The thing I would expect them to do the most is to collect 2 points from these games. This wouldn't be enough for the Europa Conference League as well.

And it seems that this will happen with Sevilla's defeat of PSV with a score of 2-3. even though they had taken an early lead with a score of 2-0, PSV was able to reverse the situation despite one Sevilla player being given a red card. In fact, in their 5 matches in the Chanpions League group phase, not a single Sevilla was able to win their match. On matchday six, Sevilla will visit Lens headquarters. It seems that Sevilla's chances of being able to compete in this league are gone. So, there is no need to look at history that Sevilla is the king of the Europa League, but the matches they played in 5 matches were a mess without winning.

and even if Sevilla qualify for this competition, no one can claim they will be as successful as last season. Moreover, there are competitors who are quite strong and better based on their performance in all events. if, Sevilla came in and met Leverkusen, statistically and on paper, Leverkusen would easily beat them, IMO. I don't mean to underestimate this squad, but let's be realistic, their performance is indeed bad.

As for United, it would be a shame if their match ended in a draw. there is still a chance, but it is very slim. As for Milan, my gut feeling says that Necastle has a chance of getting a ticket to the playoff round of the Europa League competition.
Well, let's just follow what is presented in the Champions League and the Europa League.

Maybe right now Liverpool is many people's favorite to win the UEFA European League. If you look at this group phase, Liverpool are indeed the favorites to qualify for the next phase. When compared with other clubs, Liverpool is indeed the strongest. And if you look at the clubs as a whole, perhaps the main obstacles for them are Atalanta, Leverkusen, Real Betis and also Sporting. However, the problem is that when there are already various clubs from UCL, this will definitely be even more difficult. That's why, if they really want to win, Liverpool must be all in and consistent in every match. And indeed, we shouldn't overestimate this club, because the conditions may not be as optimal as several seasons ago.

Who would have thought that Liverpool could lose to Toulouse, so I am quite surprised by the people who think that Liverpool will win the European League this season, even though Lask is at the bottom of group E, they could still hold Liverpool to a draw (even though the chance is small), so far there are 3 teams that have never lost, they are Marseille - Atalanta - Leverkusen, I am sure that among these three teams will be the European League champions this season, especially Leverkusen, they are in extraordinary form, even in the Bundesliga they appear strong, Leverkusen is a team full of threats since being handled by Alonso.

The trend is that the winners of the Europa League are no-name (no offense, I’m comparing with top clubs) clubs: the last three years the trophy was won by: Sevilla, Eintracht Frankfurt, Villarreal. Four years ago Sevilla was also the winner, but then they were not such a weak team as they are now. All this is due to the fact that even if a strong club gets into the Europa League, such a “European Cup” is not a priority. It is obviously more important for Liverpool to try to overtake City in the Premier League than to win the Europa League, so it is wrong to argue that since Liverpool is stronger on paper than the other participants, it will take the cup.

Yes you are right because in as much as Liverpool may seem very strong on the league there could be more obstacles on there way because after qualifying they will still meet other clubs that could be very good in times performance also for Toulouse to have won them on there home means that Liverpool may not be that strong to become the last team standing at the end of the season.

But however the only thing that would help them is to evaluate there match against Toulouse to identify the areas they are actually having challenge on and how to amend it in other to keep wining there remaining matches.

The Europa League usually takes a nice shape when teams from the UCL joins this competition and that’s what makes it one elite competition in Europe. Now having the like of Manchester United and Sevilla joining this tournament will not just add value but will also add spectators in its numbers trooping in to watch matches in this tournament, they're a team to watch our for cause they're very good at winning the tournament.

The addition of these class teams means they’ll have to play their asses out and get victory in every match so as to be crowned winners and that means more trouble for Liverpool and Bayern Leverkusen, well the fans enjoy these type of matches and that’s what’s best for business, now the Europa League is going to get more tougher

Liverpool still have obstacles and it's not easy for Liverpool to get the trophy anyway, if Liverpool don't get obstacles then why Liverpool can be defeated by Toulouse. So yes, although Liverpool can still be confirmed to qualify for the next round but still, there will always be obstacles and unexpected results that Liverpool will get. I think, many people overestimate Liverpool and they think Liverpool will easily get the trophy. But in reality, to get a trophy anywhere it is still not easy, because even though Liverpool are the favorite team but it still does not guarantee 100% Liverpool will get the trophy easily.

Actually, I don't want to see Sevilla return to the European League because I want to see the new history of another club that will lift the European League trophy because if Sevilla can't qualify for Champions League and have to continue playing in the European League, this will make it difficult for Leverkusen who will try won the european League trophy even though Sevilla performed poorly this season, Sevilla had quite a lot of experience and it was easy to get the title.
For Manchester United, I'm not sure whether they will be able to qualify for the Champions League, but they have to continue in european League, it looks like they will fail, even AC Milan, I also doubt this club because the two clubs currently are really bad.

Seeing from their strength, Liverpool should be able to win this match again, especially since they also won in the first meeting. To maintain teamwork to stay in good cooperation, Jurgen Klopp must go down with their full strength, it will be very detrimental if they try to rotate players but the results are not too good.
Last season they were very difficult to create chemistry within the squad, and this season they found their form again. So don't take any chances, even though this is a Europa League that isn't as popular as the Champions League.

If those clubs do join, it is going to be pretty tough for Liverpool to win this cup. I mean this is one of those years where Europa are getting some seriously good teams from UCL, it does happen most years but some years it's just expected to lose teams. This year it's nearly all star level teams.

I mean Milan was somewhere like semi finals or something right? And Sevilla is the last winners, United is a good enough team, Newcastle is the only one that might be alright. So all in all I think it is quite obvious that we are talking about having some trouble for Liverpool when the time comes, it may take a while but it could happen one way or another, it should not be an issue, it could happen easily and eventually when given enough time.
