This season Manchester United has a pretty bad performance and was only able to end the season in the 8th place, but fortunately for them they can win the FA trophy and at least can qualify for the Europa League next season, although they have the opportunity to play in the Europa League next season, But if their performance is still like this season, then maybe their journey will not be too smooth and I am quite sure if Manchester United will not have a long journey in the Europa League next season.

We will never know what Man Utd will get in the next season at UEL because we cannot confirm who the new players will be and whether there will be a change of coach and in my opinion, from temporary speculation, Man Utd will retain Erik Ten Hag and can improve every line that is not working. productive, I'm sure Man Utd can get slightly better results.
This is all just temporary speculation which cannot provide guarantees but what is certain is that perhaps we have to remember that Man Utd was a big and very popular club in the past before Manchester City and that glory days could come at any time.
Trying to think positively about the results that Man Utd will get in the coming season.
Manchester United qualified for the Europa League by defeating Manchester City in the FA Cup. However, it is difficult to say how well they will perform in the next season and what their results will be, but if they bring good players to their team, then we may see a change in the game. However, if coach Ten Haag can make good moves and bring in stars for next season, surely the club will be on the good side again. As we have seen earlier Manchester United was a much more successful and stronger team than Manchester City but they have weakened a lot in the interim. But my hope is that for next season if they spend good money and players can travel to their team then they will definitely be able to produce good results in the Europa League. I hope that if the managers at Manchester United can make good moves and spend money to bring in stars to their squad then next season will definitely be something to think about positively.

Seeing team like Manchester United celebrating qualifying for the UEFA Europa league competition always get me sick as a true Manchester United fan. Though been part of the team that will participate in the European competition next season is not a bad one for it is not easy because somany teams are wishing to be there also.
I believe Chelsea team and there fans will not be happy, just like you have said it is truly unimaginable, even winning Manchester City in the FA Cup final was still unimaginable.
What happened to Manchester United so far, of course, was very painful, when other teams that were previously only mediocre teams are now starting to target the championship trophy, while Manchester United, which has been a big team and full of a very long history of glory, actually began to lower their target level from championship trophy to qualify for the Europa League, Isn't it ridiculous enough?
For now it seems that Manchester United fans do not need to expect much from Ten Hag, even though he won the FA trophy this season, but next season it seems that Ten Hag will still not be able to lift Manchester United performance, because Manchester United current problem is not in their players, but rather in Ten Hag scheme and tactics of play which have been quite bad.

What bayern Leverkusen has achieve is something that is unbelievable and it's going to take a whole lot of hard work for them to actually replicate this kind of performance again next season and that's where the entire team should be focus on now not that one final defeat to Atlanta, of which everyone understood is a final and never really expected Atlanta to hand the title over just like that without a fight.
Bayer Leverkusen dreams of winning a treble was shattered but they will strive harder next season. Bayer Leverkusen have such trembling long unbeaten run and this is the longest in European football. Xabi Alonso was making positive steps with Leverkusen but Atalanta scattered his plans in the Europa League final, thrashed them 3 nil which was a disgrace for such a club that have reach this far.
That was their first defeat this season and of course there is no team in the world that is perfect without ever experiencing defeat during a season, it is only natural that they experience fatigue and lose focus because maintaining consistency so as not to lose is not easy, everything needs to be fought until achievement At that point where they have to give up and admit that Atalanta as a great team can beat them as a team that has not been defeated this season, Xabi Alonso has fought for that and that is not a disgrace.

The match is over and Atalanta has become champion in the UEL this season, it's time for Leverkusen to focus on next season. They still have a lot to prepare to be a great team again like this season, especially since Atalanta will play in the same competition as Leverkusen, namely in the UCL. next season, if there is another meeting, it will clearly be a meeting to avenge their defeat in yesterday's final match. Leverkusen is currently more focused on preparing themselves to make this team even better next season and appear consistently like this season to become a solid team. .

Manchester United have had good results in some notable matches but in most matches they have failed to do well in the Premier League tournament. In the Premier League tournament we saw Manchester United qualify for the European League tournament due to their poor performance this season where they played in the Champions League this season. Qualifying for the Europa League tournament was a very difficult matter for them due to their poor performance from the start but they managed to qualify for the Europa League tournament at the end. Maybe the teams in the Europa League tournament are a bit weaker than the Champions League teams so we won't say that Manchester United can win the Europa League title next season. When the new season starts, I will first see what they have changed in the team and how much their performance has increased, then I will say how they can do in the Europa League.
Last season I admit that Manchester United performed very well in fighting for comfortable position to be able to have UCL ticket and they finished in 3rd place.
Last season Manchester United also managed to surpass Liverpool and Aston Villa which this season were in 3rd and 4th place, while also securing UCL ticket next season, Manchester United performance this season can be said to be really very bad.
Moreover, if Manchester City plays very well and consider the FA Cup to be an important competition, then it is clear that Manchester City will be able to easily win and beat Manchester United, but they are giving Manchester United the opportunity to win and get Europa League ticket.

However, I admit that Manchester United was very lucky and managed to thwart Chelsea, who is in 6th place from getting Europa League ticket next season, hahaha the competition is truly unimaginable.

Manchester United appearance for UEFA Europe League season 2024/25 most luckiness after success winning FA Cup indeed finish outside of Europe League spot place. Manchester United had poor performed in domestic league for this season by finish on 8th standings position but winning FA Cup make Chelsea opportunity for playing in Europe League next season after finish on 6th position over. I don't know Premier League or FA regulation for giving the UEFA Europe League ticket, its seems not fair because any team had poor performance in domestic league and finish outside from Europe League spot but getting ticket after winning FA Cup trophy.

For next season, seems Manchester United performance as usually in this season and difficult for competing in domestic league and Europe League. If has opportunity qualify to 16 round I doubt with Manchester United opportunity lead to quarter final round if face the relegated teams from Champion League group phase.
They can take advantage of their only chance to be in the Europa League by successfully becoming champions in the FA Cup. something that I actually never imagined, because the opponent they faced was Manchester City, which is a better club than them this season, but they were able to answer all the doubts that came to them by successfully becoming champions in the FA Cup and winning a ticket to leave. to the Europa League next season.

In the Premier League they can't be relied on, because they appear so inconsistent, they keep getting bad results and even when they face clubs that are weaker than them, they have to lose. This was clearly work they had to complete quickly. The reason is that if they perform like this season next season, they will get the same results as this season and that is not satisfactory at all. This is a collective task to try to improve the performance of the Manchester United club.

Yes, they failed to win the Treble winners this season because they had to lose in the final for the first time this season, however, this does not discourage Leverkusen and does not deny the fact that they are the best club in Europe with a long unbeaten record in all competitions, even surpassing elite clubs from other leagues and Xabi Alonso is still at Leverkusen for next season. Hopefully he can still show Leverkusen's best performance like this season and has the opportunity to win the treble winners next season, especially if Leverkusen can win the Champions League title, that is a very proud achievement, but seems impossible.

Because the Champions League is filled with the best elite clubs but Leverkusen can compete with the top clubs, I am very curious about how Leverkusen will perform there with the strategy that Xabi Alonso has, whether he can perform well there and what if this club meets one of the strong candidates. like Real Madrid or Manchester City or they have difficulty keeping up with the game there. The possibility that there will be changes for Leverkusen next season seems impossible if the club is able to survive with an unbeaten record in 2 seasons.
Bayer Leverkusen's ambition to secure a treble was ended by their defeat in the Europa League final, but this setback doesn't disregard their standing as one of Europe's top clubs. Their  unbeaten run in all competitions explains their dominance, outdoing even some of the continent's big teams. Xabi Alonso's leadership has been key in Leverkusen's success, and his commitment to the club says well for their future strides.

Looking ahead to next season, Leverkusen's focus will be on the Champions League, where they aim to face and conquer the best clubs in Europe. While the competition is fierce and features stronger opponents like Real Madrid and Manchester City, Leverkusen has proven they can hold their ground against top teams. Under Alonso's guidance, Leverkusen will sure  approach each match with determination and tactics, hoping to advance continually in the tournament.

Despite the challenges ahead, Leverkusen's consistency and resilience proves that significant changes may not be necessary for the upcoming season. With Alonso at the managers stand and a buoyant squad capable of competing at the highest level, Leverkusen will definitely continue to strive, hoping to realize their aspirations of Champions League glory and complete their status as a powerhouse in European football.

Atalanta played with a defensive strategy and appeared aggressive by committing more fouls against their opponents who were trying to build dangerous attacks. This kind of strategy basically works in some games, but not in many games. Xabi Alonso doesn't have much experience dealing with problems like that in important matches like finals, so he will definitely have difficulty not conceding goals while he really wants his team to score goals.

Of course, from these match statistics, we can learn that not all teams that are able to dominate possession of the ball and have good passing accuracy are able to score goals to win the match. Sometimes a good strategy in many matches will also be broken by a team that only defends and takes advantage of counter attacks.

They weren't defensive in my opinion, they man marked Bayern Leverkusen players man to man all throughout the game. Same way they defended was the same way they attacked, thanks to them goalkeeper who did some brilliant and excellent goalkeeping duty for the club that night.
Another thing was that they was completely poor they Bayern Leverkusen at defending and the goalkeeper also didn't help matters, two goals scored are goals I feel like he should have done well to catch or save.

Bayern Leverkusen weren't really possessive of the game, Atalanta made it difficult for them to even operate in the midfied. Jeremy Frimpong did well to cause some creativity from the right side of the wing but these Atalanta worked together to fix shiit up

Atalanta didn't play defensively, they preferred to play a tough game. This style of play made the opponent unable to play the passing game as they wanted. After scoring the goal, they started to play more relaxed. They didn't get the pressure they expected from their opponents and this led to a more relaxed game.

Leverkusen tried to dominate the game but failed to do so for most of the match. They conceded an unexpected goal and couldn't recover. Leverkusen's winning streak was definitely coming to an end and it ended in this game.
Every good tactic has a way to solve it. That's the beauty of football. Gasperrini's strategy against Leverkusen was very effective. The reason is, he knows that the individual quality of the Leverkusen players is only mediocre, so implementing the highpress man to man marker strategy is very difficult for the Leverkusen players. However, the results would be different if Atalanta's opponents were of the same class as Real Madrid, which has players with more individual qualities.

Gasperini's strategy in the final match succeeded in making Xabi unable to move, this is the first time he has met a team with tactics like Atalanta from Leverkusen's 50 unbeaten matches. Meanwhile, Gasperini is “bored” against teams like Leverkusen in the domestic league. Gasperini really benefited because he already had a "solution" to Xabi's tactics, thanks to Inzaghi's (Inter) tactics being often defeated, a solution was found. because Xabi's tactics are "similar" to Inzaghi's tactics at Inter, even though Serie A is different from the Bundesliga, these tactics work well. This is what I see as why Leverkusen lost to Atalanta even though in terms of performance before the match Leverkusen was the favorite to win.

Of course, Bayer Leverkusen has got an incredible achievement in this season. They could win 2 trophies and they break the records of unbeaten performance in the whole season. Bayer Leverkusen becomes the team that never experienced a single lose in domestic competition in the season 2023-2024. It is amazing, it is a very rare record because it is something very difficult to do. People said that it is caused by Xabi factor, but I think the players also have big roles.

Yeah, it is very unfortunate that Atalanta defeated them in the final Europa league. It ruins the dream of Bayer Leverkusen to win treble winners and be a team with no defeat in all competitions in 1 season. But I think we must appreciate Bayer Leverkusen, they already showed great performance in the whole season.

It teaches Xabi Alonso how to properly handle the club when Leverkusen faces a team similar to Atalanta used the man on man marking strategy. Gasperini's strategy was to the point and it was isolating its opponent. He was also impeding the movement of the Leverkusen players by marking them one on one and i totally aware about how hard leverkusen to rebuild from the bottom. Sometimes the defenders of leverkusen are feeling panic.
You're right. Xabi Alonso must learn from the defeat, he doesn't too focused on dominating the ball positions but to play more effectively. When they play against a team with a strong defense with the tactic of man on man marking, they must be more offensive. Well, I think it is about how to choose a proper tactic. Xabi can't always rely on a single tactic, he must have varied tactics and must adjust the tactic with the opponents. Xabi Alonso also needs to trust on a pure striker for the machine goal in the attacking line. Xabi can't choose random players for the crucial match like the final UEL

Leverkusen may have had a flaw in their plans or they may not have performed as planned. How do you see Leverkusen losing by a wide margin in the final? Granted that a lesser team can beat a bigger team in the finals, and I also accept that anything untoward can happen in the finals, so how come the favorites lose by such a huge margin against the other teams in the finals. Leverkusen conceded three goals in contrast they failed to score a goal here but they looked like a very weak team. If they also take extra pressure thinking that it's the final match of a big tournament and if they get nervous then I definitely don't consider the players as professional players.
What Leversekun plans are different from what the results come out with. Nobody expected that Leversekun was going to receive so much pressure from Atlanta with their strong performance right from the beginning of this season. After the intensity they put in, they prevented any of their opponents from defeating them in every match, and everyone was proud of them for being unbeatable this season. But they were disappointed by being given Atlanta opportunities to win them in the final stage, but Shal, I can't blame them. That's all about football, someday's you win and someday's you most lose, so I'm still proud of them for keeping a big record this season. I think next season they may perform better than this season.

I believe that Xabi Alonso must be patient because now is not their momen to win europa league this season. Leverkusen and atalanta will be facing again in the UCL soon. Atalanta managed to steal the Europa League from them, which is a wonderful thing after gasperini spent 7 years without a trophy on atalanta. It broke all of the forecasts that Leverkusen would win the game.
Gasperini's smart decision-making has helped Atalanta win the Europa League this season. Xabi Alonso has to learn more about Italian football.

There are many Italian clubs with mixed formations, such as Atalanta. It teaches Xabi an excellent lesson.

The way Leverkusen expected the match was not how it was for them from the starting till the end, and this was why Leverkusen easily lost focus after Lookman scored the first goal. Leverkusen is used to absorbing pressure even when you are winning them. They will come back in the second half and draw the match or win it.

It was different in the case of Atalanta, because they were playing with pressure and Atalanta didn't give them any opportunity to penetrate their defense making it more frustrating for them. Maybe it is because it was a final match and the players lack the experience of playing in the finals.
one thing that I will always remember is that Leverkusen was not ready to compete in the final round at that time.
I mean, usually Leverkusen in every match from the preliminary round to the semi finals, Leverkusen appearance looks very confident in providing quite good resistance but when they have difficulty attacking, Xabi will definitely provide a defensive strategy to end the match in a draw.
but in yesterday's match, it was clear that Leverkusen did not have the option to defend or attack and looking at the mentality of the Leverkusen players they looked nervous and not confident which made all the Leverkusen players frustrated.
not only that, after conceding the first goal, Leverkusen tried to put up resistance but ended in failure again when the Leverkusen players lacked focus when in front of Atalanta goal.

after that, Leverkusen became more and more deadlocked, tried to attack but the defense became weak, but tried to defend, but Atalanta attacks became bigger.
some people say Leverkusen has very good ball control but for me if someone saw the live match at that time they would definitely say that Atalanta had more possession of the ball and gave them the opportunity to score 3 scores.

Do you think that Leverkusen's defeat was because they underestimated Atalanta? no friend, this is the final match and anything is possible in the final match. Moreover Leverkusen is not a team that has a strong mentality when playing in the Europa League final match which has a very high mentality so I am not that surprised by what happened and also in every season The Europa League always has big surprises, and again and again this season big surprises have happened and even in the final match.
I watched the UEFA Europa League final game between Atalanta vs Bayer Leverkusen and in my own personal assessment of the game, I think the German club were too confident in that game ahd that cost them the ultimate prize. The Italian team were more determined to win that game while the German Bundesliga champions were playing like a team who's very convinced that they'll definitely win the game and even when they were two goals down, Bayer Leverkusen were still playing like they've got everything under control.
Xabi Alonso have achieved tremendous success this season but could've achieved more if he was very cautious of Atalanta in that final. Ademola Lookman who scored a hat trick in that game was simply unstoppable and that was why he was able to give Leverkusen a good run for their money.

I also watched the match since the match started but indeed, in my view Atalanta managed to have the better morale and mentality. So,  when Atalanta had the ball and attacked, at least I thought Atalanta really had a chance to win until Lookman finally got his first goal. From then on, I saw Bayer Leverkusen seem to lose their motivation and ambition because perhaps, Bayer Leverkusen were under pressure so it was difficult to get a good mood in the final match of the Europa League. At least, that's the view and or judgment that I have, so Bayer Leverkusen really failed because Bayer Leverkusen was also unable to score a goal in that match.
