Usually people will always have a way to talking against the fact that it could have been better especially when it turns out bad and not favoring enough, it makes them have a perception that you didn't succeed enough just because you failed to meet with their expectations and thats the case with Leverkusen at the Europa this season, they had expectations people had of them but it turns out they didn't get to meet up with such expectations.

Leverkusen for me still remains a very good team and did so well this season such that not winning the Europa title will not be considered such a big deal for me because I know they are not a weak team and it was just a normal team in football to get to taste defeat at a point especially for a team that didn't get to experience defeat throughout the season, it's such a good achievement for them, if not for anything do the fact that they have been able to gather experience such that in the nearest future they will be able to do even better than they did this season.

In the bundesliga now Leverkusen is seen as a very top team and if they were to be in the Europa again next session, I'm very optimistic about their performance been a top notch performance but then they have been elevated to the champions league a d I don't know if by the new rules of the champions league they are still going to allow teams to be relegated to the Europa of which of they so then we can say if Leverkusen fails to pass the group stage, chances are they can be in the Europa again next season.

I would not agree that Alonso lacks experience in final matches. It was just that they underestimated Atalanta who was fully prepared to win the finals. The reason why I said so is that, Atalanta is winning the Europa league for the first time, which means that they also lack experience in playing the finals.

Alonso that was unbeaten this season in his domestic league, shows a lot of experience because such record have not been created since the history of Bundesliga, and this is why I don't accept the fact that Xabi Alonso don't have final match experience. It is just that his strategy was too weak for his opponent which made Atalanta to use it as an opportunity to win them.

Yeah, you got my point. Xabi cannot be called an experienced coach. He is not an experienced coach. But he has already proved that he is very talented. He got along easily with Leverkusen's players. Able to develop friendly relations. And that's why Leverkusen's players were so confident throughout the season. Even against the big teams, Leverkusen's players performed brilliantly.

Xabi has proven that he is one of the most talented coaches in the world. He dominated the Bundesliga with a mediocre team like Leverkusen. Xabi Alonso has broken the dominance of big clubs like Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga.

Regardless of the outcome of that Europa League final, we cannot forget the effort Bayern Leverkusen have putting in all competition to have an undefeated run for that long that no team has ever done. Everything that has a beginning must surely have an end, but it only ended when they desperately needed the win more to successfully complete their unbeaten for a whole season. Atalanta was also facing a defeat that time after losing a final to Juventus. It won’t make much sense to go to two finals in a season and not win any of them, they needed to put in that extra effort to win that trophy and it really paid well for them. Bayern Leverkusen should focus more on the next season because they are now a big team that no team will take things easy on them henceforth, they better be able to replicate it again or at worst be on a neutral ground and not accumulate much loss next season.

If assessed in terms of experience, Xabi Alonso is still far behind other coaches because he has just started his career as a coach, but in terms of tactics, he is much more reliable. However, Leverkusen defeat in the final made them have to admit the greatness of Atalanta under Gasperini guidance and at the same time they also learned a valuable lesson. Xabi Alonso will always remember this defeat, he has learned many things from his failure to lead Leverkusen to win the Europa League.

Next season will be a new chapter for Alonso, he will lead Leverkusen in the Champions League, which is at a higher level than the Europa League. Squad depth must always be maintained so that it can provide competition with other elite clubs. His failure in the Europa League will be the beginning of his future success, he is still young and still has a lot of time to continue learning from the experiences he has gone through.

Alonso this season has done things that are impossible for previous Leverkusen coaches to do, winning the Bundesliga and also DFB Pokal unbeaten will certainly be an achievement that Leverkusen fans will remember forever, failure to win the Europa League trophy this season is certainly not something that indeed damages or tarnishes all the positive results they get,  Alonso has managed to build Leverkusen into a fairly perfect team even without star players this season, but next season will certainly be a big challenge for Alonso to be able to maintain Leverkusen good and consistent performance.

Next season Alonso will play in his first Champions League as a coach and of course he has bigger targets to achieve, maintaining an unbeaten record is of course impossible, but to still be able to maintain Leverkusen's form is still possible, if indeed next season they do not lose many of their main players and of course Alonso still needs 2 or 3 new players who are able to make their squad better next season.  

Gasperini own contract will end for one more season at Atalanta, or will end in 2025. But indeed, about the big victory that Atalanta got over Liverpool was also indeed a sign. Because after all, when Atalanta beat Liverpool, the fact is that at that time Liverpool were also still at the top of the Premier League standings. But tragically indeed, eliminated from the Europa League and Liverpool also then experienced poor results in the Premier League and lost their place at the top. Therefore,  Atalanta's success in getting the Europa League trophy is truly an impressive achievement too ofcourse.  Because after all, Atalanta managed to beat Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen,  because basically Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen are two teams that are highly projected to get the trophy, but Atalanta was able to beat them.

If we talk about experience, then Xabi is not a coach who falls into the category of very experienced coaches, he is a new young coach who has not been in a coaching career for long, but what he can show with Leverkusen shows that he is an experienced coach, of course that is good thing for him.
I think his career as a player or his experience as a player will also really help his decision in implementing strategy, because he will definitely learn a lot from the coach who used to be his coach. Moreover, he was also in a big team when he was still a player, so those memories are still there and then he collaborates them with the strategy he has.
He also has a good mentality, because he plays at Real Madrid, which is a team that has a very good mentality, so I think that has a big influence on him. I think he will become one of the famous coaches in the future, because now he can show that.

Maybe that's true, because maintaining that performance will be more difficult for Xabi to do. On the other hand, other clubs will also be very alert when dealing with Leverkusen, and Atalanta is a club that will be a role model for beating Leverkusen. because Atalanta is the only team that has managed to beat Leverkusen this season.

Even though it won't be as good as this season, I hope they will at least still show something great and be able to provide competition, especially in the Champions League. This will be a place to prove for Xabi Alonso that he is not only great at domestic level, but he can also compete in the biggest competitions in Europe. If he succeeds in bringing something extraordinary again in the Champions League, then he will become a coach that many big clubs will compete for, because in just one season he received many offers, but he prefers to stay with Leverkusen for at least one more season.

Xabi Alonso has only had two so far. Real Sociedad B team and Leverkusen team. So considering Xabi's experience as a coach, Xabi is not very experienced. But there is no doubt that Xabi Alonso is very talented. He can spot the opponent's weaknesses, and tailor his match strategy accordingly. At the same time, Xabi is able to increase the confidence of the squad players. Because of these reasons, although Leverkusen is a mediocre team, Leverkusen has shown great dominance this season.

We considered the Leverkusen team to be the favorite in the Europa League final. But unfortunately Leverkusen lost the match 3-0. I thought I would watch Leverkusen vs Madrid in the UEFA super cup final. But this is no longer possible.

He did an amazing job indeed.    He finished the huge series of Leverkusen which must be 51-match unbeaten. Doing it in the Europa League finale was another thing that deserved respect. Atalanta had no joke truthfully. Defeating Liverpool away with such score was a signal that they wouldn't back down that easy. The same scenario happened against Leverkusen. 

It really looks like Gasperini is on the radar of some teams already. He said there was a Premier League team making an offer. But he doesn't want to leave Italy and Atalanta right now.

But we still never know if an offer comes from another strong Italian team...

Atalanta was one of the teams that surprised me the most this year. I think they did not have a very good squad, but they managed to win very important matches. To be honest, I never expected them to be this good.
Gasperini's influence in this performance is quite high. He had not achieved great success until now, but this year he broke the devil's leg. Now he can be on the radar of big teams, his experience has increased even more

It is normal for you to make such comments because Leverkusen was defeated in the UEL final, but if they had won, different comments would have been made. Leverkusen had a great season and suffered only 1 defeat in all matches. The Leverkusen coach is not inexperienced. It means he has old experience. He achieved great success in his first season. I hope next season will be better for Xabi, but I don't think it will be better than this one.

I agree, they may have lost the finals here, but that doesn't mean that they didn't do well, we all knew that they were the favourites and they failed at just one game, but the other 52 games of the season were amazing. They also got the win or the tie at the last seconds, which proves that they are doing quite well, doesn't really mean all that much of a thing, it's quite good and cool for them to do this well.

I hope that people could see something changing, I personally think that the best way to go would be just focusing on how to grow better, I personally believe that we are going to do something that will not be simple for them to repeat neither. That's the thing about great seasons, you do not do them all that often.

one very important thing that we have to pay attention to in the next season is that Xabi can be very strong when he returns to compete in the European league.
most Leverkusen supporters can understand the situation that Leverkusen is experiencing when they have no experience in European league finals and this season they can get this experience to use as a valuable lesson and Xabi is very intelligent who can turn experience into success in the future.
even though they failed in the European League, Xabi and all the Leverkusen players are still very enthusiastic about taking on the challenge in the coming season to compete in the UCL which has stronger obstacles than the European League.
even so, experience in European league finals could be one of the keys to trying to successfully compete in the UCL and although I am a little unsure whether Leverkusen is ready to face every obstacle in the UCL, I think Leverkusen will still fail.

all Leverkusen players just need to strengthen their mentality so they are ready to face every obstacle because mentality is very important for players to have high self confidence and be able to get good results at the end of the match.
and regarding further achievements, it looks like Leverkusen can still win the Bundesliga title because Bayern Munich will have problems again with their new coach and getting the Bundesliga title could have a big influence on the mentality of the players.

Bayer Leverkusen won the Bundesliga title and gain ticket to play in th3 UEFA Champions League next season. Can they survive on neutral ground where they will face elite clubs, however they believe in the same category with these teams. Xabi Alonso is one of these genius that always thinks ahead and also one step further towards his opponents. Bayer Leverkusen are lucky to have such an experience player and he's the main man for the job. Bayer Leverkusen will strive harder next season and this is really good for them.

First final of Europe League for Xabi Alonso as senior team manager and he lack experienced than Gasperini although with unfavorite team Atalanta, recently last season Bayern Leverkusen qualified until semifinal round before defeating by AS Roma with the most experience manager Jose Mourinho. No doubt experience is most important thing how to make manager get winning mentality when playing in the final match.
For next season, Bayern Leverkusen and Atalanta will play in Champion League after both teams success finish on Champion League spot at their domestic league and looking will keep consistent when participants in most highest level tournament? Atalanta recently have good achievement when playing in Champion League because ever reached the quarter final round.

I also think Xabi Alonso lack of experience as manager hurt his team in Europa League final. They had great season but couldn't win final game. Alonso knows what it's like to play in big games but managing is different. He needs more experience to make good decisions and motivate his players when it matters most. But I think he will learn from this and do better next time. Next season Leverkusen has chance to go far in Champions League and Alonso can show what he can do on biggest stage. Winning trophy as manager would be amazing, and I think he can do it. Alonso is a young manager with a lot of potential, and I'm excited to see how he grows and succeeds in the future.

Xabi Alonso has tried to win the final match of Europa league. They already performed well during the season, but it was unlucky that they couldn't play with their best level in the final match. I think Xabi Alonso still has a lack experience to face the final match as a manager. If he already has enough experience, he may win the match against Atalanta. Sure he has the experience in the final but it was when Xabi as a player. It is a different experience, Xabi needs an experience for coach career.

Xabi Alonso has another chance to finish the season with unbeaten record again next season. Although it seems will be so difficult but it is not impossible. But what I want to see is Xabi Alonso wins the first international trophy as a manager. Xavi will try a new experience in UCL, Leverkusen will play in UCL for the next season.

However, Xabi Alonso has a great record as a young manager so far.

Football is one game that's full of surprises and that's why it's never a good move for any club to underestimate the strength of their opponents. I was very surprised to see that Bayer Leverkusen decided to underestimate a club that eliminated Liverpool from the UEFA Europa League competition. Atalanta showed much determination to reach the final of the competition so I was expecting them to give their all in that final since it's one opportunity that they would likely not be getting anytime soon.
Playing in their first European final, the Italian club was playing with so much quest for a European trophy while their opponents Bayer Leverkusen were very confident and relaxed. Even when Atalanta went two goals up, Leverkusen players were still thinking they'll come back like they've been doing in most games they've played this season but were humbled when Ademola Lookman scored Atalanta's third goal to complete his hattrick.
