Yes indeed, Atalanta was a surprise team but when Atalanta managed to beat Liverpool because after that, regarding Atalanta play against Marseille in the semifinals I think the result was predictable. So yes, Atalanta managed to qualify for the final because after all, this season Marseille is actually a bad team for away matches, and that is proven by Marseille's poor away results record in Ligue 1 too. But indeed, at least Atalanta managed to qualify for the final and that was great, because of Atalanta's great efforts which also managed to beat Liverpool with a very good and impressive score. Yes, it's true that Leverkusen has become a great team this season because Xabi Alonso's hard work has produced good results. Leverkusen are unbeaten in the domestic league this season, they are even unbeaten in the UEL, therefore Atalanta will definitely feel insecure. because Leverkusen is so strong this season but they have a chance to win against Leverkusen as well as stop their record as an unbeaten team, although of course it will be difficult for Atalanta to do that but in the final nothing is impossible for both teams.

After the group stage games of the UEFA Europa League competition were completed, two teams that most predicted will make it to the final of the competition are Bayer Leverkusen and Liverpool but after the round of 16 games were played and the  draw for the quarter finals and semi finals were made, it became more clear to most people that it'll be an easy ride to the final of the competition for both Bayer Leverkusen and Liverpool because of their superior overall performance ahead of the other teams that were still remaining in the competition.
Very few people had predicted that Atalanta will be make it to the semi final after they were drawn to face Liverpool in the quarter final of the competition but the surprise of many, the Italian club eliminated Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool to reach the semi finals before their last triumph that booked their place in the final of the competition. Atalanta fans are now living their dreams and are just one more step from winning an European trophy.

Atalanta's performance was quite good when they beat Liverpool at Anfield and the victory they got was also quite convincing when they managed to score three goals against Liverpool. To get this far is not an easy matter because they have fought so hard to qualify for the final and Atalanta's struggle needs to be seen as a form of team commitment in working together, so that this achievement will be something very satisfying.

Leverkusen are having such a great season and they are the only team unbeaten in all competitions. It seems difficult for Atalanta to repeat a victory like when they beat Liverpool, because currently Leverkusen is in a much stronger condition to become favorites to win.

Since, there must be a winner from this final, and the winner will going to be the most strongest team which is Bayer Leverkusen, because they are well organized to score goals to end the game 3:1 for the favor of Bayer Leverkusen, that is my prediction for the final game.

It is very possible for Atalanta to break Leverkusen's unbeaten record because if you look at the quality of the team, Atalanta is quite good and this was proven in several matches, including in the quarter-finals when they managed to beat Liverpool.
In terms of quality, Leverkusen is slightly better than Atalanta, but what you have to remember is that the final match will be different and anything is still possible.
I think the Europa League final between Atalanta and Leverkusen this season is quite worthy and it will be quite fierce because both teams have quite good quality.

I definitely disagree! He is changing up many things, but not the strategy. It's not his style or his character to tell his team to delay the game. Leverkusen didn't delay the game for a second despite having all good reasons against a team like Roma. When Leverkusen took the overall lead again with their first goal in the second leg, I saw some scenes where they never kicked the ball away, got fast up when they got tackled, and let the ball where it was when it crossed the line. Roma lies on the ground crying, throws balls away, blocks balls so the player can't take it for a throw-in, starts discussing and provoking with opponents and referees.

It is a total mess and Alonso would never want his team to do that. He has never been a friend of those tactics, not even when he played for Real Madrid, which is a team that did the same when Ramos and Pepe were they.

But Alonso is rotating on a level that is unprecedented. Every single player, no matter whether on the field or on the bench, wants success and is dedicating everything to it. He substitutes some players and all of them play as if they are part of the first eleven. He has no second line, he has a big first line, more than eleven players. Even I noticed how people had FOMO for Liverpool when they played Atlanta. Everything I see suggests that Liverpool will win the game, but Atlanta has proven otherwise. The midtable club in the Italian league may perform even better than the upper club.
