You believe that Leverkusen cant be beaten after their 49-game winning run. Thats huge, the best in Europe, trust me. But listen up: dont give up on Atalanta. They beat Liverpool and can upset anyone. These guys are fighters. They have this energy and an air of uncertainty that could really throw Leverkusen off. There are no rules that say what will happen in the Champions League final. Atalanta can beat anyone on any given day.
Leverkusen can continue to maintain their winning record so there is no doubt that they can be favorites in the final match, going unbeaten in 49 matches this season is of course an extraordinary achievement for a team that last season was just struggling to be in the European league zone, leverkusen revival has of course surprised many people this season and the most surprising thing for me is that not a single team has been able to beat leverkusen so far, Atlanta is the only big team remaining and it is our hope to be able to break Leverkusen unbeaten record this season, Atlanta, who managed to beat Liverpool, of course shouldn't be underestimated in the final match because after all, both teams have the same chance of winning.

Both teams of course have high motivation to beat each other in the final, so I think it is very difficult to say that Leverkusen will be able to beat Atlanta easily, especially since the final match is a crucial match so the players will give all their abilities in that the match, even though Leverkusen have so far been unbeatable with their consistency, of course everything could happen in this match, including the possibility of Atlanta beating Leverkusen.

Leverkusen are often lucky at the end of matches of more than 90+ minutes so Atalanta should not play defensively, they must be able to score lots of goals to focus on continuing to attack until the match is over but if that is not done, don't ever hope that Atalanta can win,(...)

I don't think Atalanta's players/manager will care too much about Leverkusen's luck and they will approach the game the same way they do for any other team.
Becoming overly offensive in an attempt to gain a multiple goals advantage before the full-time whistle would expose them to counter-attacks, so pretty reckless strategy.

(...) I'm sure Leverkusen certainly won't Let Atalanta beat them because they want to make new history as a team that is difficult to beat and has suffered the fewest defeats this season,(...)

Leverkusen haven't lost any game this season, their last defeat was to Bochum on 27 May 2023, largely due to a red card given to Leverkusen's player at the beginning of the game. So it's not like they want to have "the fewest" defeats, they want to remain undefeated for as long as possible.

Luckily for Atalanta, even if we believe that by some divine power, Bayer simply can't lose a game, they could still win by penalties. In such case, I don't think Leverkusen's record would be affected.

Apart from that, perhaps what Atalanta should emphasize is that they should not just give up after going through all the difficult rounds up to this stage and just because Leverkusen have never lost should not make them mentally weak. I think Atalanta must fully study how Leverkusen develops and know when it can make Xabi Alonso's squad find it difficult. I think Atalanta should take Leverkusen to extra time or penalties because otherwise they will lose in 90 minutes.

The final is the final round where players must be able to play optimally and continue to play attacking to be able to score goals, so Atalanta must be able to control the match and read Leverkusen's style of play, especially as long as Xabi Alonso is there, Leverkusen will definitely continue to play full of surprises and they will always be lucky in the final minutes. scored goals, even though Leverkusen is the favorite to win the UEL Cup this season, Atalanta has the opportunity to become champions this season as well as breaking Leverkusen's unbeaten record which this season has been maintained well and consistently.

From what Atalanta has shown so far, Leverkusen should be wary of them because in terms of quality, Atalanta has been quite capable lately, especially since they managed to beat Liverpool in the quarter-finals of the Europa League this season, which has made the team's mentality and confidence increase drastically. quite a big influence on the progress of Atalanta's performance up to now.
The final match will be different because in the Europa League final it will be played with high tension and the team needs a strong mentality so that they can put out their best performance and in fact we can see throughout this season that Lverkusen's strength and consistency is a little better so I think it's natural. if they are slightly in favor though it still won't be easy and this will be quite a fierce match.
With their success in beating Liverpool, it shows that they can do something very surprising and that could happen in their match against Leverkusen, so Xabi Alonso should not underestimate Atalanta in this final match. If they underestimate Atalanta then maybe they will suffer the same fate as Liverpool this season.

After all, this is the final match, where they will play as well as possible. They will not miss the opportunity that is before their eyes to achieve victory and become champions in the European League this season.

Even though Leverkusen are very favorites to become champions, they have to work hard to be able to realize what many people have pinned on them. They are close to the treble winner this season, they can create history for Leverkusen as long as they are in this football competition.

Atalanta has succeeded in beating Liverpool, which is a sign that Atalanta this season is better than Liverpool this season.

Atalanta's success in reaching the Europa League final this season is because their performance has continued to improve throughout this season so that Atalanta has slowly succeeded in making a much better performance compared to the start of the season and although initially Atalanta was not the favorite, now they have been able to prove their quality with success. they reached the final.
Against Leverkusen of course it will be quite difficult for Atalanta because Leverkusen's performance has been quite consistent throughout this season, but the final match will be different and I think Atalanta still has a chance.
Atalanta has indeed been an unexpected club so far and they have an impressive record both in the European league and in the domestic league. Everyone is in pretty good form and you will definitely be curious about how they will make things difficult for Leverkusen in the final.

Huh?  Huh

Atalanta has taught Liverpool a lesson. There isn't a tiny reason for them to doubt that they can beat Leverkusen in a Europa League final. Even the thought is ridiculous, to say that they should not give up before the game started because Leverkusen has never lost. We are discussing professional football players who have a once in a lifetime chance and the fact that Leverkusen has lost not a single game this season is rather more motivation for Atalanta to beat them than less. They could beat the one unbeaten team in Europe and lift the EL trophy. I think that would be an even bigger dream for a player than beating some mediocre underdog who got lucky a couple of times. Leverkusen is crazy hard to beat, but if these players win a trophy, I bet they say let's do it against the best. Victory tastes so much better then.
Leverkusen is a hard nut to crack, and none of the clubs that they have played with this season whether underdogs or professionals have been able to crack them after tasting a bite of them. This is what I see as more motivation to the players because they are not scared of any club, and they are also aware of what Atalanta did to Liverpool which will make them take the final match more serious than expected.

Atalanta is a dangerous team, and they are currently on their winning streak which makes it very challenging for Leverkusen to win them. However, the strongest and the best among the two clubs will be known on that day but I still believe more in Leverkusen players than Atalanta when it comes to survival of the fittest.

Of course, Atalanta will not want to lose in the final. Bayer Leverkusen, on the other hand, does not want to lose the final and wants to continue its streak of not losing. The Rome match also shows that there is a possibility of falling behind for Leverkusen. Atalanta plays very differently in Europe. They eliminated Liverpool and continue to play brilliantly. There is a possibility for them to win and it is not impossible.
No one actually gets to the finals only to want to loose it, both team in the finals regardless of strength and form definitely hopes to win the game and lift the trophy and it's very normal for them both to want to wish for such as they have been able to get that far with the league game, I don't want to believe either team is wishing to loose the final game at any point but then I believe strong one team is definitely going to win ahead of the other.

The chances this game may not end in a penalty shoot out is quiet unpredictable because both team are exhibiting a different kind of form and strength in the Europa , Atlanta actually got lucky with the elimination of Liverpool and since then it has been a boost that has strengthen their mind in the Europa and their domestic league, I say with every form of surety that Atalanta was lucky with Liverpool because in their second meet it became very obvious that Atlanta got lucky in the first leg because Liverpool was resting players for the premier league as they were in the title race then and were putting all their best to it already.

Atlanta in the second meeting were all defensive so they will not concede much goals that will get their goals scored earlier cancelled and they will be unable to make it to the semi finals so I think basically it's in the fact that Atlanta took advantage of their opportunity but then since Leverkusen is likened to Liverpool in the Europa especially strength wise I think it will be fair to say let's see the measure of their strength in how they will be able to fave Leverkusen in the finals I'd they will be able to hold this game to get to a penalty shoot out or Leverkusen is getting an outright victory.

One great advantage Xabi Alonso possesses as the manager of Bayer Leverkusen is the fact that he played football to the biggest stages as a footballer which means that he literally knows almost everything in game of football. The Spanish young manager having won the FIFA World Cup and the UEFA Champions League trophy in his days as a footballer have also lost some games that his team was initially everyone's favorite to win the game which made his team at that moment to underestimate the strength of their intending opponents but went on to lose the game.
He'll surely not want that to repeat when his Bayer Leverkusen side plays against Italian club Atalanta in the final of the UEFA Europa League competition that's scheduled to hold on 22nd of this month in Dublin. Alonso in his team talk will definitely remind his team the dangers of underestimating the strength of an opponent as a team and while Leverkusen players mustn't do that but rather play their best in the game in other to win the trophy.

Maybe in the final match we will also be more curious about whether Atalanta will be able to stop Leverkusen's unbeaten record this season or not. But if Atalanta succeeds then it will be a big surprise and people will start to stop underestimating Italian teams like Atalanta. Because actually Roma also almost beat Leverkusen in the second leg yesterday. But unfortunately Roma couldn't defend it until the end. And Atalanta could actually be a tougher opponent than Roma. because Atalanta has a stronger enemy in the quarter-finals, namely Liverpool. but Atalanta managed to win at that time. So I am sure that the Final match will be a more exciting match. But I'm not sure which team to bet on in that match.
It is very possible for Atalanta to break Leverkusen's unbeaten record because if you look at the quality of the team, Atalanta is quite good and this was proven in several matches, including in the quarter-finals when they managed to beat Liverpool.
In terms of quality, Leverkusen is slightly better than Atalanta, but what you have to remember is that the final match will be different and anything is still possible.
I think the Europa League final between Atalanta and Leverkusen this season is quite worthy and it will be quite fierce because both teams have quite good quality.

Even if Atalanta luckily defeats Liverpool, that doesn't assure them that they can do the same for Bayer Leverkusen. We all know that Atalanta will struggle to win the trophy, but the truth is that they won't achieve that because it will be very hard due to their opponent that they will play with, and the main thing to consider is that Bayer Leverkusen don't want any team to break their record of unbeaten. If not, there are many games that they are worth losing, but they just manage it as a draw. And if they can make it this far, I don't think they will like to lose to Atlanta in the finals because they wanted to have that reputation as the unbeaten team with two trophy this season, and everyone knows that that is too big to sacrifice against Atlanta.

In my opinion for now Bayer Leverkusen would easily beat Liverpool, because Liverpool do not have a stable game in recent times and excellent matches they alternate with extremely bad.

Atalanta, unlike Liverpool, plays more focused and motivated in European cups, tuning in to each team with full readiness. Atalanta defeated Liverpool at Anfield with a resounding score of three unanswered goals.
Moreover, for Atalanta, winning the Europa League will be the biggest achievement of the season, unlike Bayer Leverkusen who have already won the Bundesliga title.

Bayern Leverkusen has not 50 games without defeat, but 49, but still an impressive record. Yesterday when I saw the game I could not believe that Bayer could even the score with Roma, because it is the Italian teams can play from defense and park the bus in the penalty area best of all, but again on 97 minutes Bayer evened the score is really more like some kind of sports miracle. Three games in a row Bayern Leverkusen have scored crucial goals in the 97th minute against Roma, Stuttgart and Borussia Dortmund.

Atalanta will not be an easy opponent for Bayern Leverkusen because the team plays active soccer with pressing and is good at counterattacking, besides Atalanta has creative players who can score goals with their individual skills, so Bayern Leverkusen will not have an easy ride in the final and I estimate the chances of victory as 50/50.
It seems we have to say 50+1 for Leverkusen, 1 for their never-ending luck, although on the other hand Atalanta has the attributes to give Leverkusen a painful defeat. I think the final match between Atalanta and Leverkusen is quite ideal, considering that the Serie A representatives managed to get rid of Liverpool, who were previously favorites to win the Europa League trophy this season.

For Leverkusen, facing Atalanta is clearly easier than facing a team like Liverpool, one more step for Xabi fleet to create new history after successfully locking up the Bundesliga trophy. Apart from that, it is very likely that they will also be able to achieve victory in the DFB Pokal Final, so that at the end of the season Leverkusen will record a very historic success throughout the club journey.

Xabi will certainly change his strategy for the final match, in order to avoid a painful defeat, and at the same time they must try to score a quick goal. It's true, Serie A clubs have better defense lines, when compared with Roma, Atalanta defense line is slightly better, so Leverkusen must be fully alert. Apart from that, it is possible that the winner will have to be determined through a penalty shootout, if that happens then Leverkusen luck will really be tested.

Currently, both sides are doing historic job with having spots into UEFA Europa League final while Bayer Leverkusen is already won the Bundesliga and now having full chance of winning DFB-Pokal Cup and Europa League which will make them second team in Germany soccer history which will complete treble and Atlanta which is having unstable nature doing impressive job in this season while they are all set for the Champions League spot through Serie A and having final game against Juventus for the Copa Italia Cup with they are now going for the final of the Europa League and this is going to be first cup for both sides.
Bayer Leverkusen is having undefeated season while Atlanta is doing good job in last few weeks which are making things interesting for them and having good chance of double even this is not easy but still it's going to be good for them.

Sure is gonna be very difficult for Atalanta irrespective of how good in terms of performance they have been on this season, though I most say that Atalanta has been quite impressive on this season performing the way they did especially on there match against Marseille they were so impressive that Marseille tried all there possible best to break Atalanta defense line but they could not and Atalanta proves to them that they are more better than them in performance, however if it was more smaller clubs that will be facing Atalanta on the finals I would have say that Atalanta will win but meeting Bayern Leverkusen I doubt if they can stand a chance on that match because Bayern Leverkusen has the best wining record on this season.
I did mentioned before Atlanta got a different level of strength and motivation ever since they got to qualify over Liverpool to the next level of the Europa, a victory over Liverpool gave them another kind of confidence a s motivation a since after that they have been winning both in their domestic league a s back here in the Europa, I'm even surprised because I never expected they were going to get this far in the Europa.

Leverkusen aswell gave us an epic comeback and at this point I think it will be okay to say Xabi is the king of come backs because I taught for once they were about to suffer their first loss for the season and their unbeaten record in the Europa would have been brought to an end by Roma but then just like they will always do, they came back strong and got an epic equalizer, Roma actually did gave them some good amount of pressure which almost got me scared especially as they were even leading by two goals ahead and Leverkusen had no goal even up to the sixtieth minute.

With all these performance I think it will be a very tough finals for Atlanta and Leverkusen been able to put up all of such come backs shows a different levels of strength that is very much unmatchable with that of Atlanta who could be considered an average team so I think Atlanta will just try hard since it's looking like their morale is high and their confidence is in a good level and even if they eventually not win they get to gather experience.

Yeah you are right because Atalanta impressive performance started from the match they won Liverpool and after then there performance improve and they hardly lose matches and now look how far they have gone, funny enough at the beginning of this season we had Liverpool in mind that will win the league do to how consistent they were but the moment they lose to Atalanta they lost the performance to push forward on this league and now Atalanta and Bayern Leverkusen will be facing each other on the finals but one thing is for sure that Atalanta will not be able to win Bayern Leverkusen because Leverkusen is far more better compare to them and this is gonna be good for them because they will be wining there local league and also this league.

There is no doubt that Leverksen is a great team, strong, solid, almost all lines have skills in scoring goals and most importantly Leverkusen has an extraordinary mentality. However, that doesn't mean Atalanta will be easy to beat. Because this concerns the final the odds are 50:50 for both teams. There is still quite a long way to go to the final so Atalanta can really use the time to continue developing the abilities of their players and studying the opponent's strategy. It is possible that in the remaining time Atalanta will try to minimize conceded goals.

Only one step away from Leverkusen can reach the Europa League champion trophy this season, against Atlanta, of course, logically it is not a difficult thing for Leverkusen to beat if you see Leverkusen performance this season which continues to be able to maintain their performance this season, but even so, Atlanta certainly should not be underestimated by Leverkusen later because Atlanta still has a great chance to beat Leverkusen if Atlanta can play like when they beat Liverpool at Anfield in the last semi-final.
no one will doubt Leverkusen or Atalanta in this final round, but what Leverkusen must be wary of is that Atalanta is able to provide very strong resistance and Atalanta also has strategies and tactics that are always right.
for example, it is possible that the match will be held to a draw by Atalanta and if it ends in a draw the match will definitely continue to the penalty round and at this point the chances for both teams could be greater or equal.
we may not discuss Atalanta in Serie A too often and this team was not initially the favorite but managed to open the eyes of the whole world to admit that Atalanta performance was quite stable and could be the most difficult opponent for Leverkusen.

the strategy that Xabi uses in every match is always to pressure the opponent's defense in the second half or always be able to score in the final minutes and I'm sure Atalanta already knows this kind of strategy so Leverkusen should try to use other strategies such as having to score more in the first half after that try to focus on defense and in my opinion this is one of the best tactics for Leverkusen.

And if they can make it this far, I don't think they will like to lose to Atlanta in the finals because they wanted to have that reputation as the unbeaten team with two trophy this season, and everyone knows that that is too big to sacrifice against Atlanta.
I have been a witness on several instances were Bayern Leverkusen came from behind and either win their opponents or draw that is to show you how strong and formidable Leverkusen have become, they fought a good fight in the Europa league right from the beginning of the competition till now that they have found their self in the finals and since they have been crowned champions in the Bundesliga even before their final league match of the season made them give more concentration and attention to the Europa league.
If you watch Leverkusen previous game with Roma you will see that this young talented players are really hungry for the Europa league title so Atalanta cannot stand them even though Atalanta showed some strength lately against the teams they played with starting from the quarter final stages but yet it shouldn't have been Leverkusen they met in the finals, if it was other teams i would have given Atalanta some consideration but since we are talking about Bayern Leverkusen that has became unbeaten in all competitions for about 49 matches mean a no go area for Atalanta but what ever the outcome of the finals be i salute Atalanta for coming this far in the Europa league.

Xabi Alonso is the best coach this season, maintaining and holding firmly a 49 game unbeaten run is unbelievable but Xabi Alonso made it happen. Winning treble is his target this season, and he will not relent until he finally accomplished tough record. Bayer Leverkusen in the final and also the Italian side. Xabi Alonso is thrashing every opponent he comes acrossed and it's been a dividing run for them. Bayer Leverkusen are unbeaten and Atalanta have become one of the most significant threat for them in the UEL final. It's a must watch game because I'm keen to watch it.

As a team that has been considered mediocre, Leverkusen has surprised us all with their very consistent performances this season, 49 unbeaten in all competitions they have participated in is certainly a difficult record for many teams to do so far and even to match the record of 49 unbeaten takes almost 20 years after previously held by Arsenal since the 2004 season,  Leverkusen have reached a stage that is very difficult for any other Bundesliga team except Dortmund and Bayern Munich to reach, so far we can see only Dortmund and Munich able to compete in European competitions but today we see Leverkusen can do it.

Bayer Leverkusen and Atalanta both managed to advance to the final with all their hard work and I think any team that makes it to the final round will definitely have very high motivation to win because there is only one step left on the path, but what is clear is that there will only be one winner between the two.
They are both strong teams to beat many opponents in Europa League to join the final match. Their paths to the final are different, not the same, but they both beat strong teams like Liverpool and AS Roma and these winnings are quality checkmarks for Leverkusen and Atalanta.

I believe there is no more word to describe Leverkusen and impression they have been showing through this season.

Quote
The path that Atalanta took to get to the final was not easy, where they had to play against one of the champion candidates and it turned out they were able to beat Liverpool. This is clear evidence that Atalanta is a worthy opponent for Bayer Leverkusen in the final.

Atalanta is a strong team, but Bayer Leverkusen are in their prime. My prediction is that Bayer Leverkusen will win the Europa League trophy.
Atalanta surely will be assessed as weaker than Leverkusen in the final match but they will not begin that final match with a humble thinking that they are weaker and can not beat Leverkusen.

Atalanta are good in attacking but as an Italian club with traditional art in defense, I believe Atalanta will focus on defense and will not try to play attacking against Leverkusen at beginning. Leverkusen shown that they can play very dangerous counter attacking in the second semi final match with Roma.
