I got little something on Sturm Graz and Lazio, both teams have conceded a grand total of 13 goals between them in the opening two matches in their group.

Sarri has proved he isn't afraid to heavily rotate his squad.  I believe Lazio's main goal this season is not Europa League, rather a top four finish in Serie A and with a tough fixture against Fiorentina coming up, he'll make 4-5 changes again. If i see Radu in the starting lineup, i could go for the O2.5...it's just too good an opportunity to pass up.

Sturm Graz appears to be performing well in the Austrian League, neck and neck competing for the first place with Salzburg. I anticipate to see an open match tonight with goals, thus the btts.

I haven't placed a bet on it yet but I've just prepared a betslip for this weeks' matches:

• PSV win @1.57
• Fenerbahce win @1.38
• Rennes win @1.46

Zurich are not a big threat to PSV. Arsenal and Bodo/Glimt have already defeated them. PSV had a bad start by drawing with Bodo/Glimt. It is time for them to make up for this by a decent win here. Fenerbahce are one of the impressive attacking teams recently. I really liked their offense performance against Rennes. They were just weak in defense then as they conceded two simple goals in a very short time period. But I think AEK Larnaca have no chance against them in Istanbul. I expect a reassuring victory from Fenerbahce. Lastly Rennes are the absolute favourite against Dynamo Kyiv. Maybe the Ukrainian team didn't lose by big goal gaps so far but I don't think they can resist a strong opponent like Rennes much. Rennes would take the win here.

With Champions League taking the headlines, also time to remember that other top teams in Europe not with the big boys also resume their group stage games. Roma-Real Betis is probably the headline game for me but Freiburg-Nantes will be something to follow to see if the Germans can retain their superiority outside domestic competition.

Arsenal-Bodoe/Glimt might also be something special to watch, probably the most entertaining outside the 2 I mentioned.

No upset bets for me as of yet.

And Manchester United have made it 0:2 in the first half of the game so far, Jadon Sancho with the opening goal in 17 minutes and Ronaldo converted a penalty kick to a goal in the 39th minute to give Manchester United a comfortable lead in this game against FC Sheriff.
Ronaldo very much needed that goal, he has gone a while this season in all competitions without being able to hit the net. Many people think the celebration he put up after scoring the penalty was unnecessary because of the team they played plus the fact that it was a penalty and not a regular goal. But for me, I think the celebration was more like a show of joy that he had broken the deadlock and maybe we should expect more from him, and I certainly do.

Yes, cristiano Ronaldo will definitely achieve more goals in their remaining matches because he just used this goal he achieved through penalty to prepare the mind of their fans that he will score more goals that will make the team to improve higher in this season. I believe, Manchester united coach will not release cristiano Ronaldo in this season, because he came to discovered that cristiano Ronaldo will achieve many goals in the future if there will be enough time for him in the team. Cristiano Ronaldo is among the talented strikers in this UEFA champions league, because whenever he entered the field there will be positive change at the moment that will bring the team victory at the end of the match.

Lazio 1 - 5 Midtjylland, one of the worst results and I doubt most people expected to see them losing, yet to see them destroyed literally..
I dont know what happen to Lazio in todays match they lost to Midtylland unexpectedly and even got destroy probobly one of the worst results in their europe history. Happy for Ronaldo for scoring his goal after a while i hope he goes back into form after this goal

Yeah, I feel really idiotic when I back a team like that at the odds I thought were fair value, and then they get that kind of hiding. I even got Lazio on a long ticket this weekend, so they better bounce back...

sc freiburg has not only made a great start in the bundesliga (with 13 points from 6 games - 2nd place in the table), but is also impressing in the europa league with very good performances and results.
in yesterday's away game at olympiacos they were superior over the whole duration of the game and are also in their group g without loss of points on the 1st place with 6 points

Wonder if it has anything to do with them playing at a new stadium (almost like Spurs taking it to new levels after leaving their traditional home) and (correct me if wrong) them having no one really hating them much, wholesome team, wholesome coach, and exciting underrated guys like Ritsu Doan (this guy a good bet to take Japan far). Streich's really getting the best out of his players, and the team helping me make my accas work, I'm happy.

Fenerbahce scored 2 goals in a 2-0 defeat to draw. While even PSG struggled away to Rennes, it is a great success for Fenerbahce to come back from 2-0 down and draw. This draw is of great importance to be the leader of the group. We will understand this better in the following matches. Fenerbahce didn't have a bad game but a better result could have been achieved.

It is interesting to see Roma behind Ludogorets in the group now. Roma's next two games are going to be against Betis also which is another difficulty for them. Because if Ludogorets benefit from this chance by defeating HJK in both games then they might even increase the point difference with Roma. I assume that Roma would somehow win the game in Italy against Betis. But their job would be very difficult in Spain. Betis are performing even better this season and they are caring about the La Liga and Europa League both. It would be unexpected to see Roma going down to the Conference League from this group.

After losing to Real Sociedad home, Manchester United did a great job against Sheriff. Maybe it was a penalty goal but it was nice to see Ronaldo scoring. This would be a motivation source for him to play better. He hasn't had much chance in the starting eleven until the Europa League games of course. It seems difficult for him to take Rashford's place in the EPL games for now. But this can change depending on the performances so Ronaldo should take advantage of every chance to take his place back.

Olympioacos were perhaps lucky that game ended with a 3-nil scoreline, it could have been much worse, given the number of decent chances that Freiburg were able to create.

Freiburg is in really good shape this season, and will be interesting to see them over the weekend against Hoffenheim, could be a lot of goals, since both teams are playing offensive football, over3.5 should pass

all that left from Olympiakos is name, obviously

a lot of goals last night, Betis won in the end, and Rennes drawed with Fenerbahce 2:2
while Braga won over Union Berlin to conclude successful week for Portuguese football, Porto excluded

What's going on with Olympiacos? Another terrible results, loss against Freiburg 0:3 at home.

Freiburg are only just having a really great start to the season and their performance in the Bundesliga is a reflection of that, I guess we'll find out if they'd be able keep up with the performance at least until the world cup break, that should put them in to a great position for final half of the season.

Another useless team right now is Dynamo Kiev, they've lost two of the opining first games, I understand that their group is probably the toughest just by comparing the teams in the group, but nevertheless they can't just back down this awfully into games without any sense of urgency, I'm very much glad to have stayed clear of having a dime on them, honestly   😏😏😏

Eh, Lazio's about to make sure my ambitious acca dies on the very first leg, need to score 4 in about 40 minutes, not that I don't think they cannot (who am I kidding), they're just probably going to make it worse now. United got a scruffy goal and Penaldo made it 2 as well, so all is well with the team, except a small matter of Sancho not making it to Nations League, ouch.

For ManU, they won and CR7 scored a penalty, his first goal since? Hopefully he will perform better from now on.

I'm looking forward to Fenerbahce's clash with Rennes. The odds for the match surprised me. I honestly didn't think rennes would be such a favorite.
Both teams are unstable and the result will be unpredictable.
I honestly did not see this walloping of Lazio coming. I know midjylland are good club in the Danish league but paired with a fairly strong side like Lazio, I expected at most, 2-1 or 1-2 not this! Well, I hope they can fight back when they meet for the returning leg because 1-5 is quite a long one for Lazio and it's not like their performance in the Serie A is commendable as they sit 7th.
I hope they would be able to redeem themselves when they meet with cremonese on Sunday tho.

Indeed, some today's results is really strange, especially from early slot. Lazio getting completely destroyed by Midtjylland. Monaco lost at home against Ferencvaros Feyenoord win isn't surprise, but it was difficult to expect that they will score 6 goals. What's going on with Olympiacos? Another terrible results, loss against Freiburg 0:3 at home. And they got completely outplayed. Dynamo Kyiv loss against AEK is also big upset.
Today I had made some more or less random bets on Europa/Conference league games without thinking much and quite unexpected ended with profit. But in general, betting on early rounds of UEFA EL/ECL games is difficult. Many upsets and some big teams aren't looking into these games 100% seriously now.
Some big teams are not taking this competition very seriously but they should still be able to hold their own. Lazio actually played with strong line up yesterday and got destroyed. Really did not expect that one and it hurt my main ticket. Good thing everything else passed so I got free bet back at least.

I was watching West Ham yesterday and they made a lot of changes but still played solid football which was enough for the win in the end.

Goals like this boost player's confidence
Saw Bruno also hunting down to add the goals to his name
Good one Ronaldo scored he will start scoring from the next game ahead, City ? We shall all see
I really agree with you on this, I think Ronaldo's celebration today was necessary, despite it was a penalty but we saw the joy that flows through him after hitting the net for the first time this season in all competitions, I think it hasn't been easy for a player with a high expectations. Perhaps this goal Will boost his morale to be thirsty for more goals he's a quality player with alot of expectations.
It's a confidence boost for Cristiano Ronaldo as he scores his first goal of the season. He gets trolled whenever he scores. Trolls also come his way when he doesn't score. Although he always fought against the system to come out on top, however the hate this man gets is unnecessary. Maybe there are high expectations upon him, due to all the causes.

It wasn't an easy match for Fenerbahce for sure. Everything happened so fast in the first moments of the second half. Rennes found two goals in two minutes. This has been like a syndrome for Turkish teams in European tournaments. Fenerbahce were nearly experiencing this against Dynamo Kyiv too. But they couldn't prevent Rennes here. However it was very important for Irfan to score in a short time. This kept the team in this match to be hopeful about a draw at least. After the red card the last minutes were really dramatic and that penalty was a savior for Fenerbahce.

This 2-2 result is still good for Fenerbahce as they already had a tough match. Things would be much different in Istanbul for sure as Fenerbahce would play more dominant there for getting 3 points. They will need to work on their defending more after having those shocking minutes. They should be able to stay more solid after conceding a goal to prevent a disaster.

all started with a big bang, Feyenoord gave 6 goals to Sturm (which is not big surprise), but Midtjylland scored 5 goals to Lazio, interesting group so far

United won in Moldova, Monaco lost home match to Ferencvaros (that has two wins at start), Crvena Zvezda lost in Turkey, against Trabzon, to be at the bottom of this group

and Bodo does not give up easily, lead 2:0 against Zurich, after draw with PSV, pretty much standing candidacy for next round

Some really surprising results in the europa league tonight. Lazio got destroyed unexpectedly amd Feyenord wom pretty big tonight aswell. Crvena Zvezda is in really bad form and Trabzonspor took advantage of it pretty easily today and got important three points .

When I look at Fenerbahce's starting 11, it's more or less the same players. Jorge jesus seems to have established a certain rhythm and tactics. Of course, they still have some small deficiencies. This is an important match for Fenerbahçe and I hope they will come back with 3 points.

What an ending on this game! Penalty in minute 90 for Fener and they just made 2-2 with 3 minutes left to play. Crazy game , with a red card , 4 goals and a lot of corners so good choice for you if you took this game on bet on goals or corners but also good for Fener that they didn't lost.

Royal vs Malmo , similar game with a lot of goals and Malmo was leading at some point by 2-1 and Royal made it back with a 3-2 in the end... Shocked

He deserves to do that for his success in breaking the deadlock in terms of scoring goals. Ronaldo can maintain his best performance in the upcoming matches, he is a role model for other players for what he has achieved so far. Erik also threw praise for the results of this match. Ronaldo and Sancho scored goals in this and man of the match fell to Eriksen who appeared quite consistent in midfield. Manchester United had many opportunities in this match but unfortunately these opportunities failed to be used as goals. for ronaldo success in scoring in this match i see a lot of praise coming to him.
