I didn't see any Barcelona in the first half. They were like a weak second league team playing against Frankfurt and trying something desperately. Maybe it was because of their not caring about the Europa League too much I don't know. But I certainly believe that Frankfurt deserved this victory fully. Barcelona were nearly turning the game around in the last minutes but they couldn't.
Even if Barcelona managed to equalize the score it didn't affect anything Barcelona still eliminated because they lost on away goals
In fact, the away goals rule has already been abolished since this season, and therefore if Barcelona managed to equalize the score, then we would be expected to watch two extra-halves Wink Eintracht met my expectations before the match and, in response to Barcelona's long and fruitless ball draws, countered with a quick transition to attack in a few passes between the players and always tried to finish the attack with a goal kick. Also, Eintracht spent most of the match, having taken the ball away, did not engage in banal knocking the ball forward, but always tried to organize a meaningful attack. The only thing is that at the end of the match, either because of fatigue, or the players began to worry too much about the prospect of a close victory, but Eintracht stopped playing in attack.

Oh no, football can't be any less surprising. So, Eintracht Frankfurt finally get to beat Fc Barcelona and qualify olunto the next stage. This is so surprising.  Where is the whole Xavi tricks, even I got to believe it and sadly, it is just football playing out. Of a truth, I never would have believed it that, Barcelona would be eliminated today, not to talk of them mot taking the league trophy but as real as it could be, they are out and for good! I hope Eintracht get to give the quality that would have been expected of Barcelona after eliminating them. The most prepared and best team wins right,,, go Eintracht Frankfurt.

Barca started awful and early penalty changed the balance of the game. If they didn't concede a goal so early things could've been different. Borre's goal was amazing, there is nothing you can do against that goal. After substitutions Barca pressed more but third goal was unlucky. They still tried to make a comeback but there wasn't enough time left. Busquet's first goal was offside, then he scored a great goal from long shot. Penalty came late and we didn't see more game time after that goal. Only if they have two or three minutes maybe we could see an equalizer. Nonetheless Eintracht Frankfurt deserved to qualify. It will be an interesting semi final for sure.
For the fact that Barcelona lost tonight is the same reason why they use to say football is unpredictable, and in the game of football, anything is possible.Barcelona and the entire team were shocked tonight, because what they did not expect happened to them. They were in a very good form,so seeing Frankfurt do what they did to them tonight is not something they expected soon.
They just need to try their possible best to remain in the top four this season, because their hope of winning the Europa league has been dashed to the gutters.
2 surprises in 2 days and 2 big competitions because yesterday Bayern was in the Champions League and now Barcelona is in the Europa League.
Barcelona played attacking as usual and indeed it was very good but the problem was that Franfurt played more solidly and the goal at the start of the first half made the pattern of the two teams different in this match.
it's time to say goodbye now and Barcelona this season must fast for the title

It must be admitted that Frankfurt efforts were extraordinary, this was not only related to luck but indeed ambition and solidarity brought them to victory , If they can continue this tradition don't be surprised if Frankfurt wins the European league.

I think RB Leipzig is now the strongest team of the remaining teams. Actually, I estimated Atalanta stronger, but they lost without a chance tonight against RB Leipzig. Too bad for Barcelona, it was the only prize they didn't own yet. It will be open matches, RB Leipzig is not a huge favorite either. In fact, anyone can still win the title here. Barcelona started the game very badly and that cost them dearly.

I still believe in Barcelona to eliminate their opponent, Frankfurt from the Europa League. But I believe that it is going to be really difficult to do so at the same time. Because we all watched Frankfurt play in the first leg of the matchup. They were really amazing and they would have even won that game too. If they continue to play like that and don't get a red card this time, Barcelona might be in a big trouble. And they might be able to eliminate Frankfurt in the extra time or even by penalty shoot-outs.
Do you think you have to get a red card to lose to Barcelona? The Catalans will be playing at home, in walls where there will be crazy support, which simply will not allow any slackness:) I'm more than sure that the score will be 2-0 or even 3-0, although... It might not be a dry match, but they will definitely get a lead of a few goals
As the history of the previous rounds of the Europa League with Napoli and Galatasaray shows, Barcelona consistently plays a draw at home with the crazy support of their fans, who drive the team forward and there was no talk of a 2-0 or 3-0 victory Grin By the way, yes, I agree that the red card shown to the Eintracht player to some extent prevented the club from engaging in an attacking game and throwing all efforts at the defense of their goal. In any case, a draw in the first match leaves Eintracht's chances of at least a draw in the second match and a penalty shootout, or even a win under good circumstances, because one goal can decide the outcome of the entire confrontation.

Yes, I understand that the game could turn to Eintracht's side, but I have little faith in that. I'm more than confident that the home walls and support will keep Barcelona from losing (sounds silly considering you have to look at the squad and such, but it's a very important point). I think even in a penalty shootout Barcelona have a better chance... Huh

90+11' Memphis penalty scored. Barcelona 2-3 Frankfurt

This was a consolation goal for Barcelona though. The moment he took that penalty, the game was already over because they needed another two goals to qualify but it was already over 10 minutes of stoppage time.

In the end, it was a good match ... unless you bet on Barcelona.  Cheesy

Had a small parlay that consist of Leipzig, Barcelona, West Ham to win so yeah it hurts to lose when you are just one short. I shouldnt have included Barcelona in my slip though but I thought it should be easy for them to win in Camp Nou and getting 1.3x odds for a heavy favourite in their own home stadium wouldnt be a bad decision so yeah but it turned out to be a bad one huh

Eintracht surprised everyone with a 3-2 win over Barcelona at the Camp Nou, securing a place in the semifinals of the European League. The German team will face West Ham in the semifinals, which defeated Lyon 3-0.

The atmosphere from the stands was incredible. It is estimated that Eintracht had more than 25,000 supporters at the Camp Nou! Even though the team was only entitled to 5,000 tickets, many German fans purchased tickets through various channels, so the atmosphere and energy were just like playing in Frankfurt. In the end, it was a good match ... unless you bet on Barcelona.  Cheesy

90+11' Memphis penalty scored. Barcelona 2-3 Frankfurt
A painful loss at home ends Barca's European adventure, and the club's best chance at a trophy this season is over. Goodbye, Barcelona. I know you broke a lot of hearts tonight.

And a lot of bets for sure  Grin  Cry
I wonder if this result will affect the quotes of Barcelona in the upcoming La Liga matches. In my opinion, it has been greatly overestimated lately and bets on its opponents were more profitable in terms of distance. In today's match, I was sure that Frankfurt would survive at least until extra time, but I did not place any bets.

Barcelona was doing great with the lead of Xavi. They have come back strongly in LaLiga for his contribution. Although, they don't have the chance to win LaLiga in this season. Only miracle can make that happen. They were out from the champions league during group stage. They were favourite in Europa league and I thought they are going to win the title of this season. Unexpectedly they lost today and got out from the quarter final stage.

when I saw barca lose today, I remembered the phrase "the final result of the football match is a mystery"

in the bundesliga standings, currently frankfurt is ranked 9th while barca is ranked 2nd in the league, this is a new history for frankfurt imo.

the teams that qualified for the semifinals were west ham, frankfurt, leipzig and rangers.

It was the worst Barcelona I've ever seen. They started the game very reluctantly and continued that way. I guess Barcelona management reserved half of the tickets for Frankfurt fans. They probably thought we could guarantee a tour of Barcelona. In the match statistics the German team had a clear advantage over Barca. After all Frankfurt passed a giant like Barcelona and continues on its way in the Europa League.
Frankfurt have the advantage in the number of shots on goal and shots, they also have the advantage in the number of fouls, the number of cards and the exact number of goals. It was a great night for the Frankfurt fans who filled the Camp Nou, it was like they were playing at home.

This was definitely the most boring match of Barcelona this season, they failed to create any chances and they also failed to find a solution when they were 2 goals down. That late goal would never help them, but they completely dominated the match they failed to win. LOL This is absolutely insane to look at.

Dissapointing from Barcelona honestly. They lost 2:3 but were losing 0:3 at home against Frankfurt and that just cannot happen at this late of a stage. Barcelona cannot even reach the semi finals of Europe League and that is just really sad. Frankfurt can even win this now if they play like this

Looking at how the results came through today, Its safe to say home advantage nolonger carries the weight it had back then as compared to todays football

Just look at the stats,We had 6 out of 8 away match wins today which backs my theory am putting across, and if any punters are seeing this, home advantage should never be a basis for a team to win!

Anyway of all games played today, I Feel bad for Barcelona but the comeback started late on in the game, better luck next time boys!
West Ham United and Frankfurt's away win, out of all of them, made me respect football and believe that there is nothing like home advantage in football when the other team is playing well.
Barcelona was eliminated from the UEFA Europa League quarterfinals, which was unexpected because I had expected Barcelona to win the trophy because I believed there was no club who could beat them, but Frankfurt has shown me otherwise. Let's wait and see how the competition ends.

Barcelona has come very close. I saw that an injury time of no less than 11 minutes had been added. 2-3 yet. If that goal had not been disallowed by the VAR, it would have even become 3-3. But that doesn't count. Barcelona started playing football far too late. At halftime it was already 0-2, which was a harbinger of the elimination. They're going to be really pissed off there now. Last chance to win a prize.
