I agree. A few weeks ago I wouldn't have thought they could even make the quarterfinals of the EL, but Xavi has molded the team back into a team that could compete for titles again at record speed. If Barca were still in the CL, I would even trust them to make the final, maybe even win it. If the team continues to develop and strengthen well for next season, Barca can be among the top teams in the CL again next year.

No, I think it's quite difficult to return to being the strongest team in Europe, especially in the UCL, Barcelona still needs time for that. Even though Xavi seems very promising a better future but still, Xavi has not fully faced getting a tougher challenge like against Manchester City under Pep or other teams that have more experienced and great coaches than him. So yes, for now Barcelona does have a big chance to be the winner of the Europa League title, and if Barcelona can be consistent then the La Liga title next season will be very close but for the UCL title I still doubt it.
